Osama Bin Laden Was Plotting Terror Attack on 9-11 Anniversary

According to communications that Navy SEALs seized from his Pakistani hideout when they captured and killed Osama Bin Laden, the terror mastermind was planning an attack on the US on the 10 year September 11 anniversary. This info among much more was just part of the information that was discovered during the Seal Team 6 incursion.

Bin Laden and his operations chief, Attiyah Abd al-Rahman, swapped views about the composition of the attack team, with bin Laden repeatedly rejecting names that Rahman suggested, according to US officials familiar with the intelligence taken from the bin Laden compound.

The plans were only in the discussion phase, American officials said. They have not seen any signs that the nascent plot ever went beyond the early planning, the officials said.

However, Bin Laden’s days of planning any more terror attacks are done … Osama Bin Laden won’t be down for breakfast.

Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld Patted Down by TSA Brain Surgeon Agents

Another round of applause for the TSA … Way to keep America safe!!!

Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is the latest victim of the TSA in their efforts to protect America from aged individuals who served the United States in the war on terror. That is correct, Donald Rumsfeld found himself in the evil eye of the TSA as they patted him down after setting off the metal detectors because of his two titanium hips and a titanium shoulder.

Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was on the other side of the homeland security policies his administration helped to create today when he was held up and patted down at the airport after setting off the metal detectors on his way to board a flight.

“It takes those of us with two titanium hips and a titanium shoulder a bit longer to get through TSA,” Rumsfeld posted on his Twitter feed earlier this afternoon.

I guess we shouldn’t read anything into the fact that the TSA full Monte pat down was done in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. These folks can’t seem to figure out how a stun gun gets aboard an airplane, but some how manages to give the old once aver to a former Secretary of Defense. I feel safe.

Gallup Poll: Republican Candidate Extends Lead Over Barack Obama To 8 Points, 47% To 39%

ABO … Barack Obama … “You’ve Lost that “Hope &  Change” feeling.

It is safe to say that the “kill Osama” bounce is over and the American voters are strictly looking at the economy, the lack of jobs and the poor job that Obama is doing in handling the debt limit discussions. According to the most recent Gallup poll, registered voters are now more likely to vote for the “republican candidate” over Barack Obama by a 47% to 39% margin. The poll shows that Obama is trailing badly with independent voters.

Registered voters by a significant margin now say they are more likely to vote for the “Republican Party’s candidate for president” than for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, 47% to 39%. Preferences had been fairly evenly divided this year in this test of Obama’s re-election prospects.

As the economy gets worse, unemployment is up to 9.2% and Obama continually tries to play scare politics with the debt limit, more and more Americans are saying … ABO, anyone  but Obama. The reality is that the poll numbers are trending badly for Obama as Americans are starting to tag “The One” with owning the economy. When only 25% of Americans believe that the country is headed in the right direction and 68 believe wrong track, an incumbent president has a real problem. Come the 2012 election voters are going to be faced with the question, do they want more of the same of the past four years? Barack Obama is going to be faced with a track record that he cannot run from, nor blame GWB.

That Didn’t Take Long … U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton Declares Mistrial in Roger Clemens Perjury Trial

Now you see it, now you don’t … the Rocket as landed in a mistrial, Houston prosecutors, you have a problem. Will the judge say that there is double jeopardy and no new trial will take place?

“Mr. Clemens has to get a fair trial,” Walton said. “In my view, he can’t get it now.”

Just yesterday was the beginning of opening arguments in the perjury trial of former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens as he was in a battle for his freedom. My what a difference a day makes. In only the second day of the perjury trial, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton declared a mistrial. What was the cause? The prosecution showed jurors evidence that he had been previously ruled out. Good grief, what first year law student did this? The judge ruled that Clemens could not receive a fair trial following this action by the prosecution.

U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton left the question of a new trial up in the air. But he called a halt to the trial under way after prosecutors showed jurors evidence that he had ruled out — videotaped revelations that a teammate had said he’d told his wife Clemens confessed to using a drug.

Walton scolded prosecutors and said he couldn’t let the former All-Star pitcher face prison if convicted on such “extremely prejudicial” evidence.

“Mr. Clemens has to get a fair trial,” Walton said. “In my view, he can’t get it now.”

Judge Reggie Walton stated that he would hold a hearing September 2 to decide whether Clemens should face another trial. What a gaffe by the prosecution. How could such a blunder have occurred? The real question is whether during Walton’s next hearing whether he will attack “double jeopardy” to this case meaning that Clemens cannot be tried again.

He said a judge may make an exception for misconduct on the part of prosecutors, but this appears to have been a simple yet devastating mistake.

“How could the government not have reviewed each piece of evidence after the court’s pretrial rulings?” he said. “This is crucially important, and prosecutors have to do this all the time.”

Justice for Caylee … Will There be a Casey Anthony Movie? Hollywood Says Not So Fast … Backlash Would be Severe

One of the sad realities of the juries insane “not guilty” verdict in the murder trial of Casey Anthony in the death of her two year old daughter was not only that it provided “NO JUSTICE” for Caylee Anthony, but also that it opened the flood gates for tot mom to profit from this travesty of justice.

The second the surprise verdict came down of “not guilty” and that Casey Anthony would be released in mere days for time served on the lesser charges of lying to police, many speculated that Casey Anthony could turn this crime into a cash cow. Why not, it’s not like she is employable, or really has worked in the past except for her fictitious jobs she told others. So would she make money off the death of Caylee in books, movies or interviews? However, Hollywood is saying … hold the phone, NOT SO FAST.

But the public outrage over Anthony’s acquittal on murder charges is making some in the industry rethink the wisdom of adapting her story to the screen.

“Anyone who pursued a movie based on these events, especially right now, will face some immediate backlash,” said Matthew Belloni, news director for The Hollywood Reporter.

“The nerve is so raw on this and so many people are so outraged by the verdict that anything that is seen as an attempt to exploit this, especially if the family is involved, will be seen as a negative by most of the people who followed the trial,” Belloni told CNN.

Arab & Middle East View of America Worse Under President Barack Obama than George W. Bush

So GWB was a cowboy, eh? Looks like the Arab world respected the man in the hat more than the one with the teleprompter.

Didn’t Barack Obama promise that relations with the Arab would were going to change under his leadership? Who knew that meant for the worse. Well, actually many of us, but then again we did not vote for the carnival barker who promised “Hope & Change”. From Salon comes the following, what a shock this must be to the LEFT. But Barack Obama promised he would make us more liked on the Arab Street.

I’ve written numerous times over the last year about rapidly worsening perceptions of the U.S. in the Muslim world, including a Pew poll from April finding that Egyptians view the U.S. more unfavorably now than they did during the Bush presidency.  A new poll released today of six Arab nations – Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco — contains even worse news on this front:

The Lights Go Out in America & The Jobs to China … Democrats Block Repeal of Lightbulb Ban

America, ever wonder where the incandescent light bulbs and jobs went? Just ask Barack Obama and the Democrats who just sent them all to China. Vicki Lawrence is wondering as well. One thing we won’t  have to be worried about is being, “Blinded by the Light” as low wattage bulbs are on their way brought to you courtesy of dome dim witted watted politicians. The lights aren’t about to go out in Georgia, but jobs as well in the US.

Thomas Edison just turned over in his grave. On Tuesday, Democrats blocked the bill that would repeal part of a 2007 energy law requiring traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient beginning in 2012. What would we expect from a bunch of dim bulbs that think that it is the government’s business to tell Americans what type of bulbs they should be allowed and not allowed to buy? I thought Democrats were all about free choice? I guess that only pertains to abortion, not buying light bulbs.

The bill from Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas) to repeal part of a 2007 energy law requiring traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient beginning in 2012 failed to get the necessary two-thirds support needed for approval under expedited rules. A majority of members — 233 — supported the repeal, including five Democrats. Ten Republicans joined 183 Democrats opposing the measure.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi personally whipped Democratic Caucus members to vote against the bill, a Democratic aide told POLITICO.

“I was concerned that Ms. Pelosi might make it a litmus test issue in her caucus, and she did,” Barton said after the vote. “We only got 5 Democrat votes. Everybody in the Blue Dog caucus and the Black caucus that voted no, voted against their constituents.

It is hard to believe that on January 1, 2012, the 100 watt incandescent bulbs will become illegal. It gets even worse … guess who makes the new light bulbs that your United States government is making you buy, hold, hold … the answer is CHINA!. In the midst of no jobs being created in the US, we are knowingly sending jobs to China in the name of what, light bulb over-legislation? Thank you Democrat party for sending good paying jobs to China. Unreal. You might want to remember this in 2012 at the polls.

Is it any shock that Democrats would vote against their constituents? Didn’t they do the same with Obamacare? These folks represent no one but their own radical interests.

Tim Miller & Texas EquuSearch Files Lawsuit Against Casey Anthony & Family … Accuses Family of Knowing Caylee was never Missing

Tim Miller and Texas Equusearch have filed a lawsuit against the family of Casey Anthony in connection to the searches for two year old Caylee Anthony in Orlando, FL. TES searched multiple times for Caylee and claimed to have spent more than $100,000. Miller claims that Cindy and George knew that Caylee was never missing and is seeking damages. Tim Miller says, “TES was used”.

Following Casey’s acquittal on July 5, Miller said he was considering a lawsuit against the family.

The founder of EquuSearch accused the Anthony family of knowing Caylee was never missing, but hiring the group for their services regardless.

“I do regret now, and when I watched opening statements and Jose Baez opened with saying Caylee Anthony never was missing I basically said, ‘damn you’.”
