Welcome to Obamaville: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Rose a Pathetic 1.3% in Second Qtr
More Obamanomics … welcome to Hoover Obamavilles.
More bleak economic news as a result of Democrat and Obama policies. The GDP for the second quarter of 2011 for the US is, drum roll … 1.3%!!! Wow, thank you Barack Obama. Does that even count as growth? Needless to say the markets are reacting prior to opening and are down. Oh wait, it gets worse, if that is possible. First quarter GDP was sharply revised down to a 0.4% from 1.9%. But wait there’s more, fourth quarter growth from 2010 was revised down to a 2.3% from 3.1%.
Growth in gross domestic product — a measure of all goods and services produced within U.S. borders – rose at a 1.3 percent annual rate, the Commerce Department said. First-quarter output was sharply revised down to a 0.4 percent pace from 1.9 percent.
Economists had expected the economy to expand at a 1.8 percent rate in the second quarter.
In addition, fourth-quarter growth was revised down to a 2.3 percent pace from 3.1 percent, indicating that the economy had already started slowing before the high gasoline prices and supply chain disruptions from Japan hit.
Obama and the Democrats have done everything possible to put Americans into Hoovervilles. This President truly is an OBAMANATION and an EPIC FAILURE!!! Unemployment, debt and GDP, OH MY!!! This president has done nothing but harm the economy, they best thing Obama could do to help the United States is resign. Obama has truly become Jimmy Carter. Just like in 1980, the only way that America was to return around from its “malaise” was for Carter to be voted out of office. Does it really surprise anyone that Obama has a 41% approval to be reelected? Look for that number to go down even further. Which begs the question … Has Obama become “landslidable” in 2012? Look for that future post in the near future.

Baez Brothers Attack AA Pilot at Miami Airport After Being Kicked Off Plane
SNAKES ON A PLAN … OR IS IT LIKE, MY COUSIN JOSE …
Will Jose Baez have some new clients? If Baez takes a break from his 24-7 attempts at shilling marketing attempts for himself and Casey Anthony, there might be a couple of people who are in need of his services. As fate would have it, they have the same name. It could be the latest version of ‘My Cousin Vinnie’, or in this case … Jose. How do you say, “the two yutes” in Spanish?
Hey Jose, there are two dudes in need of you’re lawyering skills … maybe you can convince a Miami-Dade jury that they were not drunk, they were suffereing from mental anguish of being molested by George Anthony or nearly drowning in a pool when they were yutes. Good grief.
Hat Tip: Klaas
The Baez brothers, Jonathan and Luis, attacked an American Airlines pilot and a flight attendant after being kicked off a plane at Miami International Airport. They were then arrested for the assault and making threats. The incident occurred after a flight attendant tried to get Jonathan Baez to buckle his seat belt prior to take off. However, Baez was unresponsive because he was three sheets to the wind, hammered, blatto, drunk. Baez was groggy and non-compliant as he refused to fasten his seat belt. The plane discontinued taxing and went back to the terminal where the two were tossed off the plane and the violence began.
A pair of thuggish brothers brutally attacked an American Airlines pilot after he kicked one of them off a plane for being passed out drunk, officials said.
Jonathan and Luis Baez, both of Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, were arrested at Miami International Airport on Wednesday night for the assault, which left the pilot bruised and bloodied and delayed the San Francisco-bound flight more than two hours.
Want a sure fire way to get arrested, threaten a pilot on a plane that you are “going to kill them”. Obviously these two thugs missed September 11. Jonathan and Luis Baez were whisked off to Miami-Dade County jail on $9,000 bond and $12,500 bond on assault and battery charges. I guess its safe to say that the Baez brothers will have their American Airline frequent flier miles revoked and wont be using them again any time soon.
He was apparently barely compliant at that point,” American Airlines spokesman Tim Smith said. “He was exhibiting symptoms of intoxication. He was not walking well when he went up the aisle.”
Luis Baez, 29, decided to follow his brother, and the two screamed obscenities at the pilot.
“When you fly to San Juan, I will have you killed,” one of the goons shouted, according to police.
Surprise, Surprise, Surprise … Ten Year NASA Study Shows There is no Global Warming!
WHAT A SHOCK … NASA STUDY SHOWS NO GLOBAL WARMING … WHAT SAY YOU AL GORE AND HARRY REID? I GUESS THE EARTH DOES NOT HAVE A FEVER.
How could it be, the global warming alarmist models are incorrect? Say it isn’t so Joe, or should we say Al? Go figure, global warming models are incorrect when we can’t even properly predict the weather or where a hurricane line of path will be. Data from a NASA satellite study for the past 10 years indicates that the Earth is allowing far more heat to be released than alarmist computer models have predicted.
NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA’s Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models.
How Low Can He Go … Barack Obama Loses Ground in 2012 Presidential Reelection Bid
Barack Obama poll numbers are in free fall. Just 41% of those polled in a recent Pew Center Research poll stated that they wanted Obama reelected. Even worse for “the Chosen One” is that a meager 31% of Independents want him reelected. Overall, Independents have all but abandoned Obama in the job approval polls. It’s hard to believe that Obama won 52% of the Independent vote in the 2008 Presidential elections against John McCain. Without the Independent vote Obama has no chance and the numbers continue to trend downward.
The sizeable lead Barack Obama held over a generic Republican opponent in polls conducted earlier this year has vanished as his support among independent voters has fallen off.Currently, 41% of registered voters say they would like to see Barack Obama reelected, while 40% say they would prefer to see a Republican candidate win in 2012. In May, Obama held an 11-point lead.
This shift is driven by a steep drop-off in support for Obama among independents. The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted July 20-24 among 1,501 adults and 1,205 registered voters finds that just 31% of independent voters want to see Obama reelected, down from 42% in May and 40% in March. Where Obama held a slim 7-point edge among independent registered voters two months ago, a generic Republican holds an 8-point edge today.
CNN references multiple polls, all that show that Obama’s poll numbers are cratering. Wow, couldn’t happen to a more deserving one term President.

11 Year Old Celina Cass Missing Since Monday Evening, July 25, 2011 in Stewartstown, NH
Eleven year old Celina Cass has been missing since Monday evening, July 25, 2011 when she disappeared from her Stewartstown, NH home. She was last seen at her home at approximately 9 PM. Investigators are saying that there are no indications that she ran away or signs of any struggle that she was abducted.
Kieran Ramsey, the supervisory special agent for the F.B.I. in New Hampshire said the agency has deployed its “Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team.”
She wouldn’t comment when asked why an Amber Alert was never issued for the girl, even though the FBI said it had enlisted a four- to six-person “child abduction rapid deployment team” to pitch in. Earlier in the day, state police Sgt. Sheldon Belanger, the lead investigator in the case, said Celina’s disappearance did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert and wasn’t considered suspicious.
Police were going through phone and computer records at Celina’s home, he said.

Daily Commentary – Thursday, July 28th, 2011 – Rachel Maddow Faces Defamation Lawsuits [1:59m]: | DownloadWill Ralph Nader Challenge Barack Obama to Democrat Primary in 2012?
RUN FOREST NADER, RUN!!!
Barack Obama has not been the most favorite individual among the Liberals and Progressives lately. Those such as US Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who caucuses with the Democrats, has even gone so far to say that a Democrat Progressive needs to challenge Obama in a Democrat primary in 2012.
Is Ralph Nader that Progressive? The well known consumer activist and past Democrat Presidential primary contender has stated that he will launch an initiative to field primary challenges to President Obama in key states. Is Nader the “Monkey in the wrench” and the fly in the ointment for Obama? Imagine the damaging effects to Obama, who would have to run a primary and push himself even farther to the LEFT to win? All too many people believe Obama is more LEFT of them presently. The effects of a primary against Obama would be devastating to his reelection bid and force him to spend his political war chest against a challenge from Democrats who he believes to just be in lockstep with him.
“It’s an initiative to scan the possibilities of people who may run,” Nader said in a phone interview. “My guess is that it’s almost 100 percent sure there’s going to be a primary challenge to Obama from somebody or somebodies — plural — in some states.”
Nader’s effort follows comments over the weekend by Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), a liberal independent who caucuses with Democrats, that it would be a “good idea” for Obama to face a primary challenge in 2012.
Obama has made many promises to the LEFT and has done nothing more than “left” them holding the bag. The end result is a falling Obama job approval rating as Barack has managed to upset the RIGHT, the LEFT and INDEPENDENTS.

A special thanks to RED for letting me post while he takes a little bit of a well deserved respite. I do not have quite the same style but will certainly do my best to carry on the SM tradition. I take my posting name in honor of Red’s original web posting name from back in the day, “Red in s Blue State”. Get some rest Red and feel better.

Daily Commentary – Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 – Harry Reid: No New Taxes [1:39m]: | DownloadABC/WAPO Poll: 39% Approve of Obama’s Handling of the Economy … Base Crumbling
Obama in more even more trouble in the polls as only 39% approve of his handling of the economy. But that is not the only trouble for Obama in the most recent ABC – Washington post poll. As reported in the LA Times, Obama’s liberal base is crumbling. Barack Obama can be described as nothing more than an “EPIC FAILURE”. Especially after last nights speech when instead of leading, he chose to use the same old blame game. How come none of the MSM last night were saying that it was Obama’s best speech ever? Maybe because it wasn’t and every one knows it.
More than a third of Americans now believe that President Obama’s policies are hurting the economy, and confidence in his ability to create jobs is sharply eroding among his base, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
The Post-ABC survey found that a majority of Americans still blame former president George W. Bush for the state of the economy. But it also found that Americans who identified most closely with the burgeoning tea party movement are more likely to have experienced lifestyle changes because of the downturn.
Full poll can be seen HERE.
What does Obama face in 2012? How is Obama going to answer this question of the American people? Honestly, what has Obama done in his first term in office that anyone in America wants more of? Frankly, the US can’t afford to have Obama for another 4 years.
Are You Better Off Today Than Jan. 20, 2009?
A slim 15% claim to be “getting ahead financially,” half what it was in 2006. Fully 27% say they’re falling behind financially. That’s up 6 points since February.
A significant majority (54%) says they’ve been forced to change their lifestyle significantly as a result of the economic times — and 60% of them are angry, up from 44%.
