Another Poll Has Obama Under 50% … CBS Poll Now Has Obama at 48% Job Approval

Gone are the Obama job approval numbers of 57% following the death of Bin Laden, welcome to reality President Obama.

A new CBS News poll reports that Barack Obama as back under 50% as the “Bin Laden” bounce is officially over.Barack Obama’s job approval rating of 48%. This President has yet to understand that his reelection chances are completely linked to JOBS, JOBS, JOBS and the economy. However, Obama’s liberal ideology stands in the way of America rebounding from tough economic times.

Just 48 percent of respondents approve of the way he is doing his job, compared to a 57 percent in the days immediately following news of bin Laden’s demise.

Obama’s approval numbers hovered in the range below 50 percent for most of the past year, though they spiked after the early May announcement that a team of elite Navy SEALs had captured and killed the al Qaeda.

About 79 percent of the poll respondents said the economy is in bad shape, essentially unchanged from April but higher than the 74 percent who reported the condition of economy as poor in January.

Perhaps more disturbing for the White House is that about a third of the people think the economy is headed in the wrong direction.

All of the polling data as seen HERE, HERE and at RCP shows that Obama’s numbers are trending downward and Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Hardly a narrative one would want when facing reelection and the economy is the number one issue with voters.

Weekly Jobless Claims Increased to 427,000 … Welcome to Obama’s Hope & Change Economy

New jobless claims unexpectedly rise. Unexpectedly?

Welcome to the Obama job recovery where his only plan is hope things get better. Once again there was poor jobs data this morning as Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose by 1,000 and initial claims for state jobless benefits increased to 427,000. At this point how could any analyst say that poor job hiring data is unexpected? Americans realize the country is headed in the wrong direction and they are continually feeling the brunt of the Obama no job recovery.

The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose by 1,000 last week, according to a report on Thursday that could stoke fears the labor market recovery has stalled.

Initial claims for state jobless benefits increased to 427,000, the Labor Department said. A department official added the slim rise meant the level was “essentially unchanged.”

All the “Hope & Change” is not going to change the fact that “We the People” will make their voice be heard regarding Obama’s job as President in the 2012 Presidential election.

We learn now that Anthony Weiner’s wife is now pregnant, yet she is supporting his political career and does not want him to resign. Huh? Weiner made his family friends and namely his wife a laughing stock; however, Huma Abedin is standing by her Weiner man. What Weasel Zippers said. The same cannot be said for Weiner ex-girlfriend Kirsten Powers. Yes, that same Kirsten Powers who is a Fox News contributor for the LEFT. Powers had defended Weiner; however, she will no longer as she has learned she has been lied to. The only person who appears to not want Anthony Weiner to resign appears to be his wife. More and more Democrats are lining up and calling for the resignation of Weiner. Sadly, they are most likely doing so for political reasons, not for anything that would be of a personal nature. However, it is Weiner’s relationship with his wife for exactly the reason why Weiner should go.

I had been defending him, based on what he told me, but no more. Weiner must resign from Congress immediately.

He knew I was going on the show Hannity, where I would use this false information to defend him in front of millions of people. I did, and I regret it. The previous day I had reluctantly done an interview with the New York Post at his request to talk about what kind of boyfriend he was. In that story I didn’t address the controversy but talked about my experiences with him. Nonetheless, my friends were furious when the real information came out and they realized he had allowed me to become involved in his sordid controversy. I just felt sorry for him and his wife.

Oh but wait, it just got worse for Weiner. The lewd, x-rated pics of his crotch shot were released for all the world to see. NICE.

The WAPO brings up an interesting premise regarding the future of Rep. Anthony Weiner (NY-D), if the tweeter pic scandal does not bring Anthony Weiner down, maybe redistricting in Albany, NY will.Due to the 2010 census, New York state faces a loss of two US Rep seats, could Weiner be one of them?

And now, if you ask those who know about redistricting in the Empire State, they say Weiner could very well find himself without a district for the 2012 election — no matter how his sex scandal plays out over the next few days or weeks.

“People look at this as a possible release valve that wasn’t there before,” said a senior Democrat monitoring the process.

When is this guy going to do the right thing for once in his life and resign? How could any man continue to put his wife, now pregnant, through such a scandal and an ethics investigation where all of the sordid details will come out. Then again, when it comes to Weiner, we must consider the source. Any one who would do such things that he had admitted to is so self-absorbed and all about him, why stop now.

The Weiner Watch is on … there is no way Anthony Weiner survives this.

CNN/Opinion Research Poll: Obama Drops 6% Down to 48% in Job Approval

When will Barack Obama ever get it, “it’s the economy stupid”. This President has done nothing productive for the economy since he took office and now the American people are beginning to vent their frustration. Obama’s job approval ratings are trending downward. The “kill Bin Laden” bounce is over as Americans now voice their frustration against Obama. A new CNN/Opinion Research Poll has Barack Obama at 48% job approval rating, down 6% from last month.

President Barack Obama’s overall approval rating has dropped below 50 percent as a growing number of Americans worry that the U.S. is likely to slip into another Great Depression within the next 12 months, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Wednesday also indicate that the economy overall remains issue number one to voters, with other economic issues – unemployment, gas prices and the federal deficit – taking three of the remaining four spots in the top five.

As Hot Air states, maybe Barack Obama should be concerned about a double dip recession, if it hasn’t already begun. Maybe at some point Obama better start connecting with the American people as it relates to the jobs and the economy. This president has a serious disconnect.

The latest CNN poll is just one of many that are starting to show the downward trend of Barack Obama’s poll numbers drop as the economy goes down as well.  From the Political Wire Barack even takes hot with GOP as the “Bin Laden death” is a long past story, “Obama’s approval rating among Republicans fell from 25% late last month to just 14% now.”

Will Anthony Weiner Survive Politically as Democrats Distance Themselves … Weiner Resignation Watch is On

From the beginning of the Weiner Tweet story, it was obvious what had occurred. Although Democrats remained silent and the liberal MSM did stories on hacking rather than ones that Weiner might be lying. In the end under the mounting evidence that Weiner did sent the explicit pics, Anthony Weiner admitted the pic was of himself and he sent it.

Anthony Weiner took the words to the Oscar Mayer Weiner jingle personally, literally. I guess he did wish he was an Oscar Mayer Weiner, because every one would be in love with him. Or so he thought. Oops, Congressman Weiner took this to the extreme.

Now that the cat is out of the bag and Weiner has admitted his wrong doings, well most of them … Democrats are distancing themselves and calls for resignation are abound. Democrats actually think they can win back the House in 2012, as delusional as that sounds. However, no such notion could ever even be possible when Weiner would be the face of the Democrat House. In other words, Democrats know Weiner must go.

Representative Anthony D. Weiner of New York, reeling from revelations of salacious online behavior that threaten his political career, moved rapidly on Tuesday to make amends as Republicans called for his resignation and leading members of his own Democratic Party distanced themselves from him.

Mr. Weiner spent much of the past 24 hours apologizing over and over to stunned Congressional colleagues and Democratic leaders angry at him for misleading them and the public. Even neighboring House Democrats seemed shaken, with many of them worrying that worse disclosures may still surface.

ABC/WAPO Obama Job Approval Poll: 47% Approve – 49% Disapprove, Nearly 60% Disapprove of Handling of Economy

So much for the kill Bin Laden bounce for President Barack Obama, the latest ABC/WAPO polling data is disastrous for the President. We the People expect results and are tired of excuses and the blame game. Talk is cheap and his polices have failed.

Brack Obama’s job approval ratings are once again below 50% as only 47% approve of the job that Obama has been doing as president, while 49% disapprove. To make matters even worse, 59% disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy. The American people are becoming more and more frustrated with Obama’s poor handling of the economy and jobs. As James Carville has stated in the past, “its the economy stupid”. However, Obama and his economic minions and their policies have failed miserably.
