John Edwards Mug Shot Released after Federal Indictment … I Feel Pretty

John Edwards, the former Democrat North Carolina Senator and Presidential candidate had his mug shot released following his being charged with six federal indictments. Was that a mug shot or a glamor shot? Edwards pleaded not guilty to the charges; however, does he still feel pretty?

Former U.S. Senator John Edwards, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and campaign law violations in early June. His mug shot was obtained by CNN following a Freedom of Information Act request.

The plea came after a federal grand jury indicted him on six counts, including conspiracy, issuing false statements and violating campaign contribution laws.

Casey Anthony/Caylee Anthony Murder Trial … Is the State Using the Old 1980′s Orange Bowl Nebraska Cornhusker Fumblerooski Play?

As the State nears resting in their prosecution in the murder trial of “tot mom” Casey Anthony in the death of Caylee Anthony, many are questioning why so soon? Many watching the trial are wondering why the prosecution has left so many witnesses on the shelf and where is the wow moment and ending their prosecution with a bang.

Do not let your hearts be troubled says crime blogger Blink from Blink on Crime. Blink contends that the State is Resurrecting the “Fumblerooski” circa the 1980′s Orange Bowl and the Nebraska Corner Huskers. Just how does Joes Baez and Cheney Mason plan on putting on any type of defense that remotely points to the accusations that they made during opening statements? Other than insulting and trying to defame the character and reputations of witnesses while defending a known liar, it would seem to be a rather tall order. In other words according to Blink, the State still has a few sticks up their sleeve and so far Baez and the defense has fallen into ever trap so far. Blink says, “Linda Drane Burdick is going to leave that ball on the field for a spell.  Ashton will surreptitiously pick it up and head to the end zone unchallenged.

To those of you, and there are many, screaming from the hilltops.. “Is that all you got?”  “OMG, is this girl gonna walk?”  “What about Dr. Hall?”  “How the Hell is Dominick Casey getting out of testifying?” I say chillax.  This prosecution team is simply resurrecting the F U M B L E R O O S K I.

Barack Obama Says “I Would Resign” if He Were Anthony Weiner

It would appear that President Barack Obama is weighing in on the Anthony Weiner “Weinergate” scandal. In an interview with the Today Show, Obama stated that if he was Weiner, “I would resign”. So does that mean that Obama can not bring the weight of his influence and office to ask him to leave, really?

In an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Ann Curry, President Barack Obama said that if he were Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner right now, he would resign in the wake of the scandal in which Weiner admitted to sending explicit photos of himself to women online.

However, why is Obama making a comment on the Weiner matter? Is Obama speaking out on the “highly inappropriate’’ actions of Weiner because  Weiner embarrassed his wife and family or is it because he did so to the Democrat party and now is an albatross around the neck of the party?

Anthony Weiner Finally Considers Resigning Amid Sexting/Pic Scandal … Weiner Watch Is On

Reality may be starting to set in with Rep.  Anthony Weiner (D-NY) … he must go.

After weeks of defiant denial that Weiner had done anything wrong and that his Twitter account was hacked, then an admission he sent the pics and sexting with no offer of resignation, Anthony Weiner is now considering leaving office, according to the NY Daily News. Did Weiner actually think that this story was going to go away and that he could hide behind going off the rehab?

Rep. Anthony Weiner finally began considering Sunday the possibility that he may have to resign, as yet another cache of embarrassing photos appeared.

A source close to the congressman told the Daily News that he had been adamant about keeping his seat – even amid daily new revelations of his reckless sexting.

However, more pics came out of Weiner over the weekend published at TMZ of a shirtless Weiner at the Congressional gym. Nice use of tax payer $’s Weiner. Between the admission that he had sent messages to an underage 17 year old girl and the calls for his resignation from the Democrat power brokers … it would appear that Weiner will not be hanging on to his Representative position much longer.

It is apparent that the Weiner pics that are out there and only the tip of the ice berg. This scandal of pics and sexting is the cockroach principle, where there is one, there are many more that have yet to be seen. How this guy does not have the good sense to just leave office only shows just how important they think they are. Then again, what else could Weiner do in the private sector?

How sad that it took media attention and other Democrats to tell Weiner to do what he should have had his own good sense to do himself. However, by his actions Weiner obviously is a narcissist and makes it all about him in his personal life and politics. The Weiner Watch is on.

New Pics of Gabrielle Giffords Released … Gabby Has Long Way Still to Go in Rehab from Tuscon Massacre Gun Shot Wound to Ever Consider Politics

New pictures have been released of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) by her office on her Facebook page. These are the first since the terrible Tuscan massacre shooting that left six dead and Giffords wounded with a gun shot to her head. Gabby has come a long way in he rehabilitation from her near fatal injury, but obviously has still a long way to still go. We wish her all the best in her recovery and well wishes. (VIDEO)

The photos show the congresswoman outside. She smiled directly into the camera in one, while she sat next to a woman in the other while smiling downward.

Giffords has been in a Houston rehab facility since two weeks after the Jan. 8 shooting. Six people were killed and 13 were injured, including Giffords.

Carusone said Friday that Giffords could be released sometime this month.

US rep Gabby Giffords obviously has a long road ahead of her in her. returning to Congress should be the least of her worries right now for herself and the Democrat political operatives who look to exploit Giffords for political purposes. Gabby’s well being and recovery is best served for her husband, children and family … politics is always there in the future if she wants. However, enough of the politics at this time.

One has to wonder about statements like that of Debbie Wasserman Schulltz in ‘Meet the Press” this Sunday, when she said “that she had a ‘wonderful conversation’ on the telephone with Giffords on Wednesday and Giffords spoke in full sentences and initiated some of conversation instead of just responding, as she had done in the recent past”. This seems to be in direct contradiction with that reported last week in the Arizona Republic where a Giffords staffer said,that Giffords is having difficulty communicating and is using  facial expressions as a way to express and pointing.

Bill & Lorraine Currier Missing in Vermont, Last Seen at Their Jobs in Burlington, VT on 6/8/11 (Update: Car Found)

49 year old Bill Currier and 55 year old Lorraine Currier have been missing since Wednesday, June 8, 2011 when they were last seen at their respective places of employment. Their home in Essex Junction, VT is being treated as a crime scene and police are calling the disappearance suspicious. According to the Police, they found freshly broken glass from a window in an area of the residence connecting the living area to an attached garage. It appears the couple had left in a hurry. Both have a medical condition that requires daily medication.

Bill & Lorraine Currier Missing

According to Essex police, Bill and Lorraine Currier were last seen at their jobs in Burlington, Vt., on June 8.

Bill Currier, 49, is approximately 6 feet tall and 220 pounds. Lorraine Currier, 55, is 5-foot-3, approximately 160 pounds with brown hair.

Police searched their home Thursday night and found a broken window and other indications that something may be amiss. Acting Police Chief Brad LaRose said the couple’s Saturn sedan was found in Vermont on Friday, and that it’s being processed for evidence.

The car of the missing couple was found Friday afternoon near their home. According to the police, the Saturn sedan had been found near an apartment building at 241 Pearl St. in Essex Junction, VT (MAP). This is near the Susie Wilson Road-area neighborhood where the Curriers lived. The Police have declined to release any other details regarding how the car was found or whether it yielded any clues to the couple’s whereabouts.

Investigators in the disappearance of Bill and Lorraine Currier said they’re hopeful the couple is still alive, but could not say for sure.
