Casey Anthony Murder Trial Day 32: Jose Baez … Who Let the Dogs Out, or Buried them in Backyard with Plastic Bag & Duct Tape

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT … OR BURIED THEM IN THE BACK YARD COMPLETE WITH PLASTIC BAGS AND DUCT TAPE? HUH?

What is supposed to be the final day of the Jose Baez defense of accused tot mom murderer Casey Anthony before they rest,  Baez might have sunk to a new low of silliness and showed that it was rank amateur day. In what can only be called as one of the largest stretches ever seen in a court of law, let alone disgustingly hideous, Casey Anthony’s lead defense attorney Jose Baez actually called every member of the Anthony family and asked them about a history of their canines they owned and how they were buried.

George Anthony, Cindy and Lee were all questioned, one after the other about their backyard PET CEMETERY that would have made even Steven King cringe. What was Jose Baez thinking to actually make the comparison of burying a dog in the back yard to that of precious little Caylee? As asked by the Orlando Sentinel, Did the defense just bury itself with the asking of pet questions? Not only is the answer, yes, Baez also just showed yet again what a novice attorney he is as he continued down this completely silly line of questioning that was completely offensive. How does the Anthony’s having the practice of burying an abundance of dogs in the back yard some how tie to George Anthony being complicit is the disposal of Caylee?  Of course in his lack of wisdom, Baez also pointed out is his not ready for prime time direct of the A’s that Casey would have learned as well how to use duct tape and plastic bags. What a sad moment for the legal system.

WFTV-Channel 9 anchor Greg Warmoth wondered if the questions about pets tied George Anthony to the duct tape and Caylee’s remains. Casey Anthony, George’s daughter, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Caylee.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer scoffed, “Come on. What a stretch this is, for heaven’s sakes.”

Judge O.H. Eaton Jr., legal analyst for WESH-Channel 2, said he wasn’t sure where the defense was headed with the pet questions. “Somebody in the family buries dogs in plastic bags, and I guess there’s supposed to be a leap from that to this child was treated the same way,” Eaton said. “It’s hard to connect that. It was so long ago.”

Not only did Baez offend with this line of questioning, he allowed prosecutor Jeff Ashton to ask in cross the line of the morning to George Anthony, “have ever tossed a dead pet in the swamp.” Point for the State. What a pathetic line of questioning by Baez as Defense attorney Cheney Mason was seen sitting at the defense table leaning back most likely shaking his head in his mind, contemplating days of yore before ever having head of the name of Jose Baez and thinking … What the hell have  got myself into?

Jose Baez, is this all you have? As you rest your case today you defend your client for a capital murder charge and all you got is a dog names Mandy? Yikes. As crime blogger Blink from Blink on Crime stated, “O Mandy, when you came and you gave without taping … “. We hate to make light and jest about this, but it just proves the point of how absolute ignorant this line of questioning truly was by Baez.

Who knew that the Casey Anthony murder trial and the death of little Caylee would be turned into such a joke by Jose Baez? He has presented the Mandy defense … or is it the “Me and You and a God Named Boo” Defense? The question might not be, Who let the Dogs Out … but instead, Who Let Jose Baez into the legal profession?

EXIT QUESTION … Just how many Anthony pets have died?

Mark Halperin of Time Calls Barack Obama “a Dick” then Apologizes for Comments on MSNBC’s Morning Joe (video)

Mark Halperin says Obama acted like a dick … So Much for the 7 second delay.

Mark Halperin, editor-at-large for Time, called President Obama “a dick” on Thursday on a popular MSNBC morning show and then quickly apologized. Although many other people probably felt the same way, might have not been the proper way to say it.

“I thought he was a dick yesterday,” Halperin, who also is a senior political analyst for MSNBC, said on Morning Joe, referring to the President’s conduct during his press conference.

Host Joe Scarborough hoped to prevent the comment from being broadcast, saying, “Delay that. Delay that. What are you doing? I can’t believe… don’t do that. Did we delay that?”

Just minutes later, Halperin quickly apologized to the president and viewers for his choice of words. “Joking aside, this is an absolute apology. I shouldn’t have said it. I apologize to the president and the viewers who heard me say that,” Halperin said.

As Red State says, “Truth is a defense for slander.  The President was, in fact, a d*ck yesterday.” Obama acted in a condescending and arrogant manner in demagoguing the debt ceiling issue. Obama also had the audacity to tell Congress that they needed to get to work on the issue, as he has. Really Mr. President … how many rounds of golf and fundraiser have you had as the debt ceiling clock ticks? Obama and the LEFT has certainly no right to lecture anyone on civility to a sitting President. If such a comment was made of GWB, the panel at MSNBC would have laughed and went about their business.

Just curious, how was this a gaffe or mistake by Halperin? The man had before making the comment asked whether there was a seven second delay. Obviously he meant to make the comment.

However, Hot Air has an interesting take on the Halperin comment, maybe he was just channeling his inner Spicoli of Fast Time at Ridgemont High fame.  :-)

EXIT QUESTION: Would the MSM make a guest apologize so quickly if a Republican like say, Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann was called such a name? We already know that George W. Bush was fair game.

UPDATE I: Mark Halperin Suspended Indefinitely from MSNBC

Make the same type of comment about a Republican and you are praised, but if its about the Dali Bama, you get suspended. Maybe Obama could use a suspension from appearing on media outlets until he learns some civility as well.

12 Straight Weeks of Unemployment Claims over 400K … Unemployment Benefit Applications at 428,000

Another week and another week of Unemployment benefit applications greater than 400,000. According to the Department of Labor, unemployment applications for this week are at 428,000. Thank you President Barack Obama.

The Labor Department says unemployment benefit applications ticked down 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 428,000.

Applications have topped 400,000 for 12 straight weeks.

Applications had fallen in February to 375,000, a level that signals sustainable job growth. They stayed below 400,000 for seven of nine weeks. But applications then surged to an eight-month high of 478,000 in April and have shown only modest improvement since that time.

John “Don’t You Know Who I Am” Kerry Says … I Would Have Been A Good President, Maybe Even A Great One”

John Kerry thinks he was a good President, maybe even a great one … before he was, well he was never going to be elected President.

What delusional pill are they putting in the water in the Democrat party? In an interview with Don Imus, US Senator John Kerry (D-MA) said that he thought he would have been a “good President.” In fact, he added, “a great President.(VIDEO)” What’s next, Kerry saying that he thinks his likeness should be carved into Mount Rushmore? Hmm, so does Kerry think or just say that he would be a better President than Obama?

Thurston Howell III John Kerry Says he would have made a great President

IMUS: “Well, you would’ve been a much better President.”

KERRY: “I would have been a good President. Maybe even a great one. How about that?”

Um, how many great President do you know that call the voters ignorant? Heck, we begged that Kerry be Obama’s VP.

Who Knew … John Lennon was a Closet Republican & a Ronald Reagan Fan … Imagine That

Imagine John Lennon was a Republican …

Formal Beatles John Lennon …  a closet Republican, wow, who knew? So says the last personal assistant prior to John Lennon’s sad and untimely death. Fred Seaman went on to say,He was a very different person back in 1979 and 80 than he’d been when he wrote Imagine. By 1979 he looked back on that guy and was embarrassed by that guy’s naivete.”

John Lennon was a closet Republican, who felt a little embarrassed by his former radicalism, at the time of his death – according to the tragic Beatles star’s last personal assistant.

Fred Seaman worked alongside the music legend from 1979 to Lennon’s death at the end of 1980 and he reveals the star was a Ronald Reagan fan who enjoyed arguing with left-wing radicals who reminded him of his former self.

In new documentary Beatles Stories, Seaman tells filmmaker Seth Swirsky Lennon wasn’t the peace-loving militant fans thought he was while he was his assistant.

He says, “John, basically, made it very clear that if he were an American he would vote for Reagan because he was really sour on (Democrat) Jimmy Carter.

Imagine what libs must be thinking today? How is that possible, can’t be … all those baby-boomers just took a double dose of xanax today. As stated at Weasel Zippers, when walking be a liberals home, make sure you look up to dodge the jumpers.

Let’s not forget the lyrics to Revolution, But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao.It would appear as suggested by Big Hollywood that Lennon appears to have grown up over the years and realized the errors of his ways in his younger years.

You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know

We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow
