Casey Anthony Trial: JOJO Comes To Court- A Zero To Hero Moment For George Anthony

Orlando, FL- I know I should really write in chronological order for y’all that are just reading the days events. I just can’t.

In the first day of the trial of the State of Florida v. Casey Anthony I went through a “Steel Magnolias” equivalent of tissues the first half, and proceeded to sharpen our Henkels in the afternoon for reasons I cannot explain.

Linda Drane Burdick, in her smart and gas-can-red suit, riveted the jurors, the public, and even the defendant, Casey Anthony.

Ms. Anthony shook her head no at all the places she does not want you to look. Ms. Anthony cried on cue.

British Code Name for Obama Is “Smart Alec” … So Much for the International Super Star

The bloom is off the Obama Rose across the Pond as well. So what does Europe really think of US President Barack Obama? One need look no further than the Brits code name for Obama … can you say “Smart Alec”. Other names that were considered were, “The know it all”, “Smarty Pants” and “Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire”.

More than one person has wanted to call Barack Obama a ‘smart alec’, and now British police will get the chance to do so without getting reprimanded.

That’s because Scotland Yard has tapped the codename ‘Chalaque’ to refer to the U.S. president for security reasons during his upcoming state visit to the United Kingdom May 24-26.

Indarjit Singh, a Punjabi speaker in the UK who is director of the Network of Sikh Organisations, told the Sunday Times the word ‘is sometimes used when we want to denigrate someone who we think is too clever for their own good‘.

The word is sometimes used to denigrate someone? No folks, the word always is used in that manner. There is nothing positive for anyone to be called a “smart alec”. My how the Mighty Obama has fallen. The One has gone from “International man of mystery, to smart alec. Not sure why they did not just refer to him as “The Lying King”.

Casey Anthony Murder Trial Day 1: Will Anthony Defense Team Use “Accidental Death” as Reason for Death of Caylee Anthony?

After nearly 3 years, the Casey Anthony murder trial begins. What has Jose Baez and the defense team of Casey Anthony devised as how to explain the death of Caylee Anthony and the reason why tot mom Casey Anthony never reported her daughter missing for 31 days and instead partied it up as if it was 1999.

Will the defense explain away the 31 days of Casey Anthony’s bizarre behavior as they have previously promised? Many potential jurors were dismissed for cause stating that it was not natural for a parent to act in this manner.

Opening statements will begin shortly. Will the defense actually have the audacity to say that Caylee died accidentally?  It is most certain that Casey will let the waterworks begin during today’s trial. One would ask why she did not do so when her child was missing. As stated at CNN, how will the defense explain away the following two telephone conversations?

“I have a possible missing child,” Cindy Anthony said in the first of two 911 calls made July 15, 2008. The little girl — her granddaughter, Caylee — “has been missing for a month,” she said.

In another call, she added an ominous statement: “There’s something wrong,” she said. “I found my daughter’s car today, and it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car.”

BIDEN IN 2016 … THAT’S THE TICKET

This might be the best joke that VP Joe Biden has told in quite some time. The VP told a gathering of Democrat donors in Cincinnati, OH to keep him in mind in 2016. What? Dear Joe, let me be the first to break this to you, not a chance. You are going to be lucky if you are still Vice President after 2012.

The Vice President, who has never ruled in or out running in six years, told the group he hadn’t made up his mind, and cited both political conditions and his own health as relevant factors.

But the spontaneous suggestion caught the attention of at least some in the audience, said the guest, “given he volunteered that without prompting…and given the audience.”

As stated at the PJ Tatler, yes Dems, please give Biden all your money to run. We beg you. Not only is Biden’s comment comical, it’s premature. One would think that Barack Obama would want his VP campaigning for the president, not Biden. However, that being said, Biden is making a rather huge assumption that Obama will be reelected. Good luck to that with falling poll numbers and an economy that has all but stalled with 9.0% unemployment.

Former IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn Said to Maid While Assaulting her … “Don’t You Know Who I Am?”

It would appear that former IMF Chief  Dominique Strauss-Kahn while assaulting a NYC  hotel maid was trying to do his best Senator John Kerry imitation by saying the following. According to Fox News.com, reported,  Strauss-Kahn reportedly said to the NYC hotel made while pinning her down an allegedly assaulting her … “Don’t you know who I am! Don’t you know who I am?”

That and other details of the maid’s complaint to police emerged Monday as police reportedly confirmed that disgraced ex-International Monetary Fund boss Strauss-Kahn’s DNA was found on the maid’s shirt.

Casey Anthony Murder Trial in Death of Caylee Anthony Jury Sworn In … What Will Opening Arguments Have In Store

After weeks of questions from Judge Perry, the prosecution and Jose Baez and his Casey Anthony defense team, the Casey Anthony murder trial jury has finally been picked and sworn in. With all the distractions, contempt of court charges and exemptions based on cause, the jury is final.  The jury panel of 9 women and 8 men was chosen (see list below); however, only 12 will comprise the actual jury which will consist of 7 women and 5 men. The remaining 5 will be alternates when court resumes Tuesday and the opening arguments begin in the Casey Anthony murder trial.

Make no mistake about it, during this trial from start to finish, do not forget what happened. This trial is about the death of a three year old little girl named Caylee Anthony at the hands of her mother Casey Anthony. No mud slung on the wall to see what sticks by the defense can ever explain how a mother would go out clubbing and having a good time and not mentioning that her child was missing for 30 days. As potential juror stated, which might I ad has to be in the back of every one’s mind whether they want to admiot it or not, no mother acts this way … it’s not natural.

Female Potential Juror: OK, I will. I believe that to lose a child is the worst thing that this earth has to serve on anyone.  It changes the way you see the world, it is out of the natural order of things, no matter the circumstance of that loss. My husband and I did lose a son in a car crash.  Being totally involved and cooperative with the investigation that included things like the grisly details of the ME reports, scene reports, everything that went into compiling an accurate homicide report as much as it hurt us, was our parental obligation.  And it is my conviction that any failure to participate or be engaged entirely in that process would probably overshadow my ability to be objective about actual commission of a crime.  I would see that as a guilt by omission if you will.

Needless to say this juror was excused on cause; however, how many on the jury are of the same opinion?

What bombshells will the defense present on Tuesday? We shall see as the trial begins tomorrow.

Has Sarah Palin Bought a House in Scottsdale Arizona … Political Run?

Did she or didn’t she?

Rumor has it that Sarah Palin has bought a home in Scottsdale, Arizona. If so, it would certainly make a run for the 2012 Presidential election easier in the lower 48 than from Alaska. But speculation is abound as the property was purchased by an LLC. So, is this a run for the 2012 White House or for retiring Republican Jon Kyl’s US Senate seat?

ABC15 also reporting of the suspected real estate purchase, or rumors thereof.

Saturday outside a North Scottsdale home speculated to be the new property belonging to Sarah Palin, a black SUV with an Alaska license plate pulled up and asked our ABC15 crew to leave the area immediately.

The driver wouldn’t comment on whether Palin plans to move in so she can set up shop for a possible 2012 presidential run. But plenty of others are commenting.

“It’s the best place you could buy a second home in the entire United States,” said realtor Jeff Sibbach, who sells high end homes for John Hall & Associates. “It’s all speculation right now.”

That’s because nothing in the MLS says Sarah Palin.

I have to tend to agree with PJ Media, The Tatler, Palin bout a home right in the middle of one of the biggest issues that exists in politics today, illegal immigration. Far be it from Palin not to take on such an issue that Obama has failed so miserably on and is in direct contrast with “We the People”.

One thing is for certain, Saracuda has them buzzing again as to what her future plans are. BTW, before the LEFT starts making remarks of “carpet-bagging” if she goes after the retiring Senate seat of Jon Kyle, we just have two words … Hillary Clinton. As for the references to house/palace, how soon they forget the home many homes of Democrat Al Gore and the little shack of former NC Senator John Edwards. However, its safe to say in this real estate purchase if done by Sarah Palin, Tony Rezko was not involved.
