Obama Continues Spiking the Football, Obama: Killing Bin Laden “Should Inspire Us To Finish What We Started” By Reelecting Me …

For Obama, who cares about the present situation of the US, its all about reelection …

President Barack Obama is now using the death of Bin Laden as a reason to vote for his reelection. Unreal, wasn’t it Democrats who got upset when 9-11 was invoked by GWB? Well this is interesting, it would appear that Obama is not the only one who has made a “gutsy” decision. Some, ordered the raids multiple times … Bush twice sent commandos into Pakistan after jihadis.

However, do we really need for four more years the out of control spending and 9.0% unemployment of the Obama years? And should we be inspired by the over 100% increase in gas prices as well?

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Thank you for getting bin Laden.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, there you go. (Applause.) Case in point. (Applause.) It should inspire us to finish what we started …

As Weasel Zippers states, it would appear that “somewhere there’s a referee blowing his whistle and throwing a flag for excessive celebration”. That is correct, a 15 yard penalty for excessive celebration and one term!

More Americans should question what Obama’s agenda really is.

100% increase in gas prices as well?
      ——-
that is hardly fair….yes the gas prices are at record highs, but 100% does not take into consideration the context of why they were low to begin with.

That is like saying that when Bush left office, gas was at $1.90 a gallon…as some sort of accomplishment.
      ___________________
SM: It is a fact that gas prices are up over 100% since Obama took office. If The One is going to claim that he gets KUDOS for getting Bin Laden, which the wheels were in motion long before he ever took office, Obama also gets the credit for high gas prices. There are many things he could do, he does nothing but promote this ridiculous green job initiative.

Obama owns $4 a gallon gas and 9.0% unemployment. That is hardly a platform for 4 more years.

Remember the lame stream media and the Dems. squealing like piggies if Bush dared to even speak about 9/11 I do, they must think we all have a very tiny brain and only remember what we heard today.

Flippy…you have no idea what you are talking about…zero….

When gas prices hit $4.00 the MSM was all over him; the libtards were enraged, outraged, yada, yada, yada….

But now that the Messiah is in office; it’s for the collective good that people are running their cars to fumes and then having their cars towed; which is why there is an increase of profits for tow companies right now….

As far as Flippy’s comment that the $1.90 a gallon of gas was not the result of George W Bush then he’s dead flat ignorantly WRONG.

The fact that George W Bush signed an executive order lifting the moratorium on off shore drilling in the eastern half in the Gulf of Mexico is the SOLE and solitary reason gas prices dropped every month during his last several months in office; bottoming at $1.90 when he left.

The proof is in the pudding you ignorant SHEEPLE!

You can deny all you want as a typical libtard but the facts smack you right in the face!

He’s not the only President to use that order either.

      Get a clue.

Wow..you are rude one. Sheeple? Libtard? Given the sensitivity of *tard words, I think you need a new insult; but that’s a different thread.

Lifting the moratorium is the SOLE and Solitary reason? Poppycock.

At its core, the July 2008 executive order was an empty gesture, as he lifted the executive order but the congressional ban still existed until he strong-armed congress into allowing the ban to expire in September; but I will credit Bush overall for getting the Ban lifted.

At best, the ban on exploration will not produce domestic oil supply for years, possibly 10 years, so any short-term affect on gas prices would be highly speculative and heavily reliant on congress not re-imposing the ban at any time during the next 10 years.

The gas prices went from $4.00 to $1.60 from September to December 2008. The same period the DOW went from 12,000 to 8,500 (and also after the ban was lifted)

So, your statement that the complete collapse of the world economy is totally unrelated to the cost of gasoline dropping just doesn’t ring true.

As an aside, Gas prices were getting comfortable in the $3.20 range until January of this year when they took off for $4.00 and beyond. January 18th was the start of the so-called Arab Spring, which created a new level of mideast instability and gives us the prices of today.

      —–
No argument, and that stands on its own; but he is not “to blame” for 1.95->4.35. Maybe 3.25->$4.35 (though gas in my neck of the woods is $4.35 :( )

But, this whole Arab Spring thing is big deal (and one he can’t take any credit for) that will probably be mostly resolved by the election so the affects of that will be removed from the $4.35 price as well.

Separate topic, but people will be arguing for years if Bush deserves any credit for the Arab Spring through the war on terror. I look forward to my grandchildren’s history books to see how it plays out (history books determine reality for the most part).

Sm: OBAMA IS RESPONSIBLE … if he wants to get KUDOS for nabbing Bin Laden, he also gets credit for the economy, home foreclosures, bankruptcies, 9.0% unemployment, $4+ gas prices, out of control spending and every thing else that happens while he is in office. Obama had the opportunity to increase oil/natural gas exploration, he did not. He had the opportunity to increase production and minimize blending, he did not.

To continue to be dependent on the Middle East for oil is a crime. It is not the GOP that is blocking “drill baby, drill” it is the Democrats and the Enviro whackos. Green energy is BS. It is not the answer to the short term or mid-range goals. It is a long term goal, if viable.

Obama will be judged in 2012 by the economy, jobs and the environment that people have faced in the past 4 years. He has received poor marks on handling the economy and rightfully so. GWB IS NOT IN OFFICE. Obama is.

    7. Flippy on May 11th, 2011 3:07 pm

and every thing else that happens while he is in office.
      ……..
The eventual democratization of the middle east?

I say Bush had more to do with that; but if you want to swing that one to Obama then we will have to agree to disagree.

-Or- we can agree to look at things on a case by case basis like rational people.

SM: I am being a bit satirical when I said that. Trust me Flippy, Obama will take credit for anything good and blame GWB for anything bad. Those are just the facts. Well, one might say that Bush had a lot to do with the death of Bin Laden as well.

Obama’s decisions and policies should be what he is judges by. Ultimately that is what the 2012 election will be like, However, when he loses, we will all just be accused of being racist.

    8. Scott on May 12th, 2011 6:26 am

Flippy – you are really naive if you think that history books determine reality. Are you kidding me? History books are written by progressives. This is why there are states reviewing these books. There are lies upon lies in these history books. Case in point: A friend of mine has a child and his history book did not give Ronald Reagan the deserved credit for bringing down the wall and ending the Cold War. That is blasphemy (sp?)!

Gas prices are not tied to the DOW. That is completely and utterly false. Oil is tied to the value of the American dollar. It’s quite simple; if the value of our dollar is lower then gas prices rise. If the value of the dollar is higher than gas prices are lower. We get 70% of our oil from OPEC. Since the value of our dollar is lower; it takes more of our dollars to buy oil; thus the higher gas prices.

The really only way that gas prices can slow down the rise of price is if the American people are driving less; of which their is less demand and supply becomes higher.

The fact conservatives are pointing out that no liberal will answer is that the MSM was all over Bush for high gas prices but now that they are higher than when Bush was in office; the MSM is no where to be seen.

    9. Moi on May 12th, 2011 12:54 pm

      Dear SM,

You said: However, when he loses, we will all just be accused of being racist.

I guess we will all be racist because if one is white and votes against him, they hate his black half. If they are black and vote against they hate his white half. I mean, he’s half of each, right?

So Zero’s supporters will call out racism either way we turn because no matter what color you are if you vote against you’ll be racist in the end. (But really you’ll just be FOR America to vote against.)

Lord have mercy. I cannot wait to cast my “racist” against vote in Nov. 12!

      ….
But they do, in the long term. Reality SHOULD determine history books, but they don’t.

If Reagan is not given credit for the Berlin wall in the textbooks, then 100 years from now nobody will know that he deserves it. You may be old enough to remember (perhaps) but your great-grandchildren will view the world through their textbooks.

So yes, History books dictate reality, whether they are accurate or not.

@MOI—-I’m sorry—-but when it comes to discussing the topic of President Obama’s ABILITY to perform his job—-why in the hell do folks like you always have to pull the RACE CARD??

I don’t care if our President is Pink and Purple with Polka-Dots—-in the end- the only thing that matters is the job he/she is doing running our Country. If you are pleased with Obama’s job performance so far, you are obviously brain dead.

Translation= LIBTARD, FAR RIGHT BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL OR THE CHOSEN ONE’S KOOL AIDE POISONED SHEEPLE.

      Have a nice day =)

NGBoston. Maybe you should have noticed I was responding to a reply Scared Monkeys made to another poster and making light of it because it always the Zero supporters who first throw out the race cared. Get a clue. You call it what you want as I’m married to a man who is mixed race. Fool.

I didn’t and would NEVER vote for Obama. He is not only so far UNDER qualified he is not good enough to pick poop out of a park, but he clearly hates all of America’s core values. You vote for him if you wish, I’ll vote for someone with a clue how to lead. (Also, I’m independent. Not Dem or Rep)

    14. NGBoston on May 13th, 2011 4:50 am

#13- Ok, MOI so I apologize then. That was my point—that RACE SHOULD NOT MATTER.

Glad you didn’t vote for him. Glad you won’t ever. I misread so I apologize for the name calling. I’m IND as well and hope you accept my apology.

      =/

    15. Moi on May 13th, 2011 12:19 pm

OK, and I am sorry to be so reactive too. Is a touchy subject with me. I’m lilly white with blonde hair and have a dark-skinned husband and also have black as well as hispanic cousins. I’ve received grief over it at times through the years, but normally it doesn’t bother me any more. But sometimes it just still does. NOt sure what tilts me that way when it does.

    16. Scott on May 13th, 2011 1:44 pm

Flippy – NO WAY at all do history books (especially high school) and most definitely college books tell the reality. How can they tell reality if they are slanted towards liberal and progressive thinking because they are written by liberals and progressives. These are facts coming from a person with a history degree.

My children or grandchildren will not view the world thru their history books; not in today’s world where there is a 24 hour news cycle.

I will be reading their history books with them and will point out the inaccuracies that are even in today’s history books. I will tell my kids that Ronald Reagan deserves the credit for ending the Cold War; that it was GWB policies that Obama campaigned against that got us UBL. I will point out the inaccuracies about how the attacks on capitalism that are already showing up in history books today. I will point out that the Republican controlled Congress balanced the budget WITH Bill Clinton in 1996. I will point out that a democratic controlled Congress basically flushed their money down the toilet and are the MAIN we are sitting at a deficit that will NEVER be balanced.

You are way too naive to think that history is reality when it’s not written with a fair and balanced view.

I remember my college professor and I got into it and he almost failed me because he claimed “that the Constituition was a living and breathing document that changes with the times (typical libtard view)” That question was on my final exam and I argued he was utterly and completely wrong; that the ONLY way to change the Constitution is through the amendment process; some of which ended slavery and gave women the right to vote. He tried to fail me and I went to his office and had it out. I then had to go to the Dean of the history department and fight for my grade; of which I ultimately ended with an A.

Don’t talk to me about history being reality and my kids vision of the world being seen through history books. I don’t know who the {blank} you think you are preaching on top of your soap box. Unlike most parents, I will not sit idle and let the PUBLIC (government owned) schools INDOCTRINATE my kids with BS!

NOR will I let libtard SHEEPLE guide my kids thoughts.

#15-MOI—Cool beans. In today’s world, there is too much hate and racisim, still unfortunately exists. Don’t get mad at me for saying this, and it is O/T—but I live in a State where being a Caucasian is becoming the new minority.

It’s hard, bc often times we are required, while brought up here to be bi-lingual in Spanish or Korean or some other language just to get a job.

Race should never matter, hatred should not exist but as we all know- we don’t live in a perfect world.

I honestly have no clue who we will be able to vote for during the next election. It’s just my opinion, but clearly Obama needs to go!

Have a great weekend. Peace <3
