It is just one more instance where President Barack Obama might have wanted to say on script and read his teleprompter. Barack Obama said during a fund raiser in Chicago to donors that when he got into the Oval Office, ” I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff.”

The president, in an unscripted moment with donors in Chicago, was talking about the need to innovate in technology.

“The Oval Office, I always thought I was going to have really cool phones and stuff,” he said during a small fundraising event at a Chicago restaurant. “I’m like, c’mon guys, I’m the president of the United States. Where’s the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen comes up? It doesn’t happen.”

Obviously we realize Obama was trying to make a joke; however, for a President who many feel does seem to be too small for the position. Obama stating that he is disappointed that he does not have new gadgets and a “cool” phone hardly helps the image that many have of his president who golfs and vacations far too often. Obama is perceived by many as being in over his head and overwelmed by the job. Many have joked the only reason why he wanted to become president was to get the perks and ride on Air Force One. Barackl Obama hardly needs to provide any more ammunition.

So who is to blame for the air traffic controllers falling asleep? It has happened all too often lately and the most recent incident of an air traffic controller deciding to nod off instead of doing their job happened in Reno, NV. So who is to blame, the air traffic controller, the scheduling of shifts, management, etc?  Yesterday, Hank Krakowski, the Federal Aviation Administration’s Air Traffic Organization resigned. But, according to Joy Behar of the view, he is not to blame.

Believe it or not, Joy Behar blamed former President Ronald Reagan firing the air traffic controllers in 1981 for these folks not being able to stay awake in 2011. Welcome to the mind of liberals and their thought process.

BEHAR: He busted the union, the air controllers’ union. And they probably would have been strict about having two people there. The main thing about the unions is they want more people to work.

Thankfully Hasselbeck was there to remind the Libs that there was just a bit of time between Reagan and nap time by air traffic controllers. Although, does any one really think that unions would have prevented such acts? As stated by Hot Air, after all we know that unions are enforcing rigorous performance standards among their members and disciplining them. Sure they are.

It was dangerous.” OK, hold it, hold it, pause … WTF!  Hookers,  prostitutes pimps and peep shows in Time Square as romantic. Trying to get to a Broadway Musical while being propositioned by whores. Hmm, romantic, nostalgic, sorry not seeing it.

Doesn’t this comment speak volumes of the individual that Democrats deem as their elder statesman.

Obama at 42% Job Approval Rating in Latest Gallup Poll … 50% Disappove

President Barack Obama has sunk to a 5 month low in the latest Gallup Poll, down, down, down …

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Barack Obama has dipped to a 5 month low of 42% job approval, while 50% disapprove. With Obama’s recent displays of a lack of leadership in the budget debate or the Libyan war, one has to wonder how “The One” has not dipped into the 30′s.

The White House and Obama can dismiss the polling data all they want; however, for an incumbent President who just announced his reelection bid for 2012, this cannot be a good sign. Barack Obama will suffer horrendous polling numbers if the gas prices continue to climb, which they are doing, and the economy continuesto falter, which it is. That does not even take into account having to defend Obamacare and the flip-flops of his 2008 campaign promises.  Today’s initial unemployment claims are hardly a good sign for a President who will be held accountable in 2012 for the economy and the lack of jobs created during his first term.

The White House routinely dismisses polling data. But it’s a troublesome footnote as the president kicks off his re-election effort Thursday.

Obama’s low approval rating is not the result of the major speech he delivered on Wednesday. Some of the polling took place before he delivered the speech. Rather, a Gallup official believes the results reflect broad public dissatisfaction with the economy.

“You can never discount the economy as a reason,” said Frank Newport, editor-in-chief of the Gallup Poll. “It’s important to remember that Americans are down on the economy right now. We saw some glimmers of uptick, but that’s faded. And there’s no way that can’t help but rub off” on the president.

Obama’s continued lack of leadership and refusal to take on difficult issues like the budget will only further cause his polling numbers to crater. The United States has a budget crisis and all Obama did in his partisan speech is kick the can down the road. It is becoming obvious to many, including those who voted for him, that Barack Obama just is not ready for prime time and is over his head in the job.

32 year old Crystal Mangum finds herself in a world of trouble. The woman who falsely accused Duke Lacrosse players of rape in 2006 and was recently charged with child abuse is now facing potential murder charges. This woman just cannot seem to keep herself out of trouble. According to Durham, NC police theman that Mangum stabbed has died from his injuries.

Mangum already was in jail under a $300,000 secured bond charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

“More than likely, we will be upgrading the charge to murder,” Lopez said.

What a piece of work this woman is. Welcome to the female version of Joran Van der Sloot. Eventually, they wind up getting their just desserts. We can only pray for her children as this woman is a lost cause.

20 Year Old Holly Bobo Missing in Decatur County, TN After Man Dressed in Camouflage Breaks into House (UPDATE: Led Into Woods, Not Dragged)

20 year old Holly Bobo is missing in since 7:30 am Wednesday morning, April 13, 2011 at her home on Swan Johnson Road in Darden, TN when she was kidnapped and dragged off from the carport of her home in Decatur County, TN. Bobo, a nursing student was reported to be dragged off into the woods by a man wearing camouflage.

According to accounts, Holly Bobo’s brother witnessed her being abducted and called 911. The rural town of  Darden, TN is in shock and searching for the missing 20 year old.

Holly Bobo was dragged “across the carport of her home… toward a wooded area” in the town of Parsons on Wednesday, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Both Bobo’s mother and 25-year-old brother watched the woman being abducted and called 911.

Holly Bobo is 5 feet 3 and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.  Bobo is a cousin of Whitney Duncan, a country music singer and a finalist on the television talent show Nashville Star. Duncan tweeted, “Thanks for all the prayers & please keep spreading the amber alert. Love y’all.”

“My cousin Holly was kidnapped this morning,” Duncan wrote on Facebook. “Please pray for her & our family. This is really sad & shocking.”

Police believe that Bobo was the victim of a home invasion. The search continues …  The TBI’s Violent Crime Response Team joined local and neighboring law enforcement. Bobo’s brother was inside the house, watching the horror unfold from a window, authorities said.

The family of a missing woman held a tearful news conference Thursday afternoon as the sheriff of Decatur County announced a $25,000 reward for details that help lead to her safe return. The nursing student was last seen being dragged from the carport of her home by a man wearing camouflage clothing.

New unemployment benefit claims are back over 400,000.  Oh the wonders of the Barack Obama job revovery plan. But of course these jobless claims come as a surprise. Really? Have these folks taken a good look at the real sitution with John Q. Public? This president is truly incompetent on the economy.

New claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly rose last week, bouncing back above the key 400,000 level, while core producer prices clumbed faster than expected in March, government reports showed on Thursday.

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits rose 27,000 to a seasonally adjusted 412,000, the Labor Department said.

 Wait, the Obama economy has more great news:

The share of the population that is working fell to its lowest level last year since women started entering the workforce in large numbers three decades ago, a USA TODAY analysis finds.

Only 45.4% of Americans had jobs in 2010, the lowest rate since 1983 and down from a peak of 49.3% in 2000. Last year, just 66.8% of men had jobs, the lowest on record.

Obama Job Approval Rating Now Below 50% With Even the Poor

Even the poor are asking themselves if they are better off today than they were before Barack Obama.

President Barack Obama even failing with his job approval with the poor. According to a CNS report, Obama’s approval among the poorest Americans dropped to an all time low of 48% last week. This presents Obama with quite a perplexing situation. He now is under 50% job approval with all income classes.

Each week, Gallup publishes the president’s average approval rating for the previous week among four income brackets: those who earn $2,000 per month or less, those who earn between $2,000 and $4,999 per month, those who earn between $5,000 and $7,499 per month, and those who earn $7,500 per month or more.

For the week of April 4-10, Obama’s approval rating was 48 percent among those making $2,000 or less per month, and 46 percent among those in each of the three higher income brackets.

Think this has any thing to do with Obama’s new class warfare in proposing taxes on millionaires and billionaires, even though it means any one who makes more than $200 K. Barack Obama is in for quite a tough run in 2012.

Joran Van der Sloot in Trouble Again … Linked to Stabbing 3 Fellow Inmates in Peruvian Prison

WATER SEEKS ITS OWN LEVEL …

Who would have thunk it … Joran Van der in trouble again? Say it isn’t so. The “Little Dutch Boy” who is presently in prison in Peru and charged with the death of Stephany Flores and the prime suspect in the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba is reportedly in even more trouble.

According to Dutch News, Joran Van der Sloot has been involved in several stabbing incidents while in the Castro Castro 
 prison in Peru. What a shock, because Joran was such a model citizen outside of prison, why would any one not think that he would carry on his sociopath ways while in prison? Van der Sloot is alleged to have stabbed three inmates in which one required emergency treatment.
