Once again, you just can’t make this stuff up …
More from the Obama “Gang that Could not Shoot Straight”, this time it’s Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood who decides to perform the “Bidenism” of the day. Following yet another air traffic controller falling asleep in the tower, this time Reno, Nevada, come the following insane comment … “I guarantee the flying public we will not sleep until we can guarantee that there’s good safety in the control towers when these planes are coming in and out of airports.” WHAT!!!
VIDEO at Real Clear Politics.
Um, Secretary Lahood, isn’t is the falling asleep that seems to be at issue here?
Want to know why government is so inefficient and costly? One needs to look no further than the FAA’s remedy to air traffic controllers falling asleep on the job. It is the 5th time this year that this has occurred. Fifth time reported that is.The governments answer is to add another air traffic contreoller to the overnight shift at a cost to tax payers of $100 K +.

How much of a low life must one be to rob a lemonade stand, seriously.
13 year old Chelsea Edwards was robbed of her lemonaid money when a when a man approached her, started asking the cost of the lemonade and then snatched the money jar from the girl and ran off and got away in a car. What have things come to in the US when a 13 year old is robbed of her lemonade stand money? VIDEO.
Every wonder who would be so pathetic to rob a lemonade stand, your questions have been answered.
Courtesy of WMAZTV
“The man bent down and seen the money jar, and he grabbed it,” Edwards says, recalling what happened Saturday.
Edwards says a man and woman had approached the stand she was running with her two friends. She says they started asking questions about the price of lemonade.
That’s when Edwards says the man reached down and snatched the jar of money she held between her legs.
To make matters worse, if possible, the $130 that was stolen from 13 year old Chelsea Edwards was not for herself, but instead she was raising is for her 2 year old developmentally disabled cousin. The Blaze is correct, these two people really are the “worst people of the day”. Just who are these two low life’s … 20 year old Gage Allen Turner and 21 year-old Amber Umbarger. Both have been arrested.
13 year old Chelsea Edwards learned a valuable lesson at such a young age. In life there are producers and takers. Guess which one Chelsea is? By the way, $150 from a lemonade stand … WAY TO GO CHELSEA! However, next thing you know politicians will look to tax her or prevent her from even selling it without a commercial license.
So-Called Independent Florida Senate Loser Charlie Crist Apologizes for Use of 1985 Talking Heads Song “Road to Nowhere” in a 2010 Campaign
Road to Nowhere … more like Charlie Crist’s political career to nowhere.
Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist has settled his lawsuit with David Byrne, the lead singer of the Talking Heads for Crist’s unauthorized use of the song “Road to Nowhere”. The song was used during Crist’s campaign without permission. As part of the settlement, Davis Byrne forced Charlie Crist to record embarrassing apology for stealing Talking Heads song, watch the VIDEO here.
A much more fitting Crist theme song: Karma Chameleon by Culture Club
Desert loving in your eyes all the way
If I listen to your lies would you say
I’m a man without conviction
I’m a man who doesn’t know
How to sell a contradiction
You come and go, you come and go
Former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has settled a lawsuit filed by Talking Heads singer David Byrne after Crist used one of the group’s songs without permission in a campaign ad last year, both parties confirmed Monday.
Terms of the settlement were not released, but it included a recorded apology by Crist that was posted on YouTube Monday afternoon. Byrne had sued Crist for $1 million for using the song “Road to Nowhere” in a YouTube video attacking Marco Rubio, one of the governor’s opponents in the U.S. Senate race.
Crist said Monday that he was pleased with the terms of the settlement and that Byrne “couldn’t have been a better guy” when they met last week to mediate the case.
Charlie Crist, the once Republican turned Independent, but really wannabe pseudo Democrat lost to Republican Marco Rubio badly in the 2010 Florida US Senate race. A fitting end to a disastrous Senate campaign.

What on Earth … UN Document Would Give ‘Mother Earth’ Same Rights as Humans
You just can’t make this stuff up …
Tree Huggers of the EARTH unite, a United Nations treaty would give “Mother Earth” the same rights as humans. I mean come on, if bugs, trees and all other natural things have been provided the same right, why not good old Mother Earth. This really is a must read to understand exactly what type of socialists make up the United Nations. Just one question … Why is the United States still a part of the UN?
Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving “Mother Earth” the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.
The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to “dominate and exploit” — to the point that the “well-being and existence of many beings” is now threatened.
The wording may yet evolve, but the general structure is meant to mirror Bolivia’s Law of the Rights of Mother Earth, which Bolivian President Evo Morales enacted in January.
Mason-Dixon Poll: Mitt Romney & Mike Huckabee Lead Obama in Florida
Oh those pesky battle ground states …
A recent Mason-Dixon Poll has both Republicans Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee ahead of President Barack Obama in a hypothetical match-up in the battle ground state of Florida. In head to head match ups between potential GOP candidates Romney and Huckabee, and President Obama, former Massachusetts Governor Romney leads Obama 48% to 43%. Former Arkansas Governor Huckabee leads Obama 49% to 44%.
Former Governors Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee would win Florida’s 29 electoral votes over President Barack Obama if the 2012 Presidential election were held today, according to the results of a new statewide Ron Sachs Communications/Mason-Dixon Poll released Monday.

Zombieland II & Twinkies: Chicago School Bans Bagged Lunches Brought from Home
UNREAL … WHO EVER HEARD OF NOT BRINGING YOU PB&J, ORANGE, TWINKIES AND BEVERAGE OF CHOICE TO SCHOOL IN YOUR SCOOBY-DOO, MYSTERY MACHINE LUNCH BOX.
Liberal educators are against a student’s right to choose, at least when it comes to bagged lunches. Taking the rights away from parents yet again.
Hat Tip: Flickr
Public schools just do not quit. They cannot seem to properly educate our school children, but they certainly can take away their rights to prevent them from bringing bagged lunches to school. Some Chicago schools have banned bagged lunches stating, students are not allowed to pack lunches from home. Unless they have a medical excuse, they must eat the food served in the cafeteria. Once again “THEY” know better than you as Principal Elsa Carmona said, ”her intention is to protect students from their own unhealthful food choices”. Students, how about its the parents that are making the food choices. Read more at the Lonely Conservative, an individual hunkered down in their blue state bunker.
Fernando Dominguez cut the figure of a young revolutionary leader during a recent lunch period at his elementary school.
“Who thinks the lunch is not good enough?” the seventh-grader shouted to his lunch mates in Spanish and English.
Dozens of hands flew in the air and fellow students shouted along: “We should bring our own lunch! We should bring our own lunch! We should bring our own lunch!”
Fernando waved his hand over the crowd and asked a visiting reporter: “Do you see the situation?”
Warning: Language
Do failing schools really need to worry about controlling what children eat, or educating them? Democrats claim they want Republicans to stay out of their bedroom, LIBS … stay out of childrens bagged lunches. Is it any wonder why Woody Harrelson was on a mission for a Hostess Twinkies in Zombieland, he probably went to a Chicago school and was deprived of them.

Sign of the Times: Democrats in Battleground States Like Missouri Now Opposing Obamacare
For those of you in the Democrat party who thought that the passage of Obamacare would be forgot, think again.
Democrats in battleground states are now turning tail and running away from Obamacare. Democrat Missouri AG Chris Koster has broke with his party and urged afederal judge to invalidate the individual mandate of Obama’s new health care law. Obamacare will be an albatross around the neck of democrats for years to come and will be a big issue in the 2012 elections.
Mr. Koster’s action followed months of pressure from state Republicans that he join attorneys general from other states who are challenging the constitutionality of the law.
Rather than join the litigation, however, Mr. Koster chose to file a “friend of the court” brief in the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, in Atlanta, which is reviewing one of five challenges to the act that have moved into the midlevel appellate courts.
Moe Lane discusses the AG’s approach to his opposition to Obamacare in more detail.
Barack Obama and his minions thought that they could pass Obamacare against the will of the American people because one, they would learn to like it and two, they would have long forgot the vote by now. Never has an administration been so wrong. Then again, such misguided perceptions of “We the People” have become par for the course with Barack Obama’s out of touch liberal agenda.
Obamacare, the gift that keeps on giving to the GOP. How will Democrats explain their “yea” vote to the people on Obamacare?
