Barack Obama Touts Illegal Immigration at Campaign Speech … Whether You Came to US Legally or Illegally, “We are Connected”

Unbelievable, at a campaign speech in San Francisco, California Barack Obama sang the praises of illegal immigrants. Who knew that the President of the United States was not supposed to be about upholding the rule of law. So much for borders. So those individuals that came to the United States and followed the rules are the same as those that illegally crossed the Rio Grande and the US/Mexican border.

Watch the VIDEO at Real Clear Politics.

“No matter who you are. No matter where you can came from. No matter what you look like. No matter whether your ancestors landed here on Ellis Island or came here on slave ships or came across the Rio Grande, we are all connected. We will rise and fall together. That’s the vision of America I’ve got, that’s the idea of the heart of America,” President Obama said at a fundraiser in San Francisco.

“That’s the idea of the heart of our campaign,” Obama added.

Once again Obama is pandering to the LEFT while an overwhelming majority of Americans believe that border control is the top immigration priority. Also 61% of Americans believe that a child born to illegal parents should not be given US citizenship. But that’s irrelevant to Obama which I guess this is why the FEDS have told border patrol not to make arrests.

This community organizer is still trying to organize the illegal community in an effort to get votes. He knows that the legal electorate will never give him the votes he needs to win.

So many reasonable folks would love to
      educate our blissfully ignorant President
how to decipher the difference between
illegal and legal. Standing on the Constitution
for this fool means covering it up with his
      dirty shoes.

problem is that obammy is the only one who wants them, and only for the vote. otherwise, he could care less.

      @1

      illegals are allowed to vote??

@2 not every illegal is a criminal, most of them want a better life for them or their children..damn them for whishing that.

SM: By the mere fact that they are in the couintry illegally makes them a law breaker. They do not have to commit a crime in the US, they broke the law by entering. I guess it would be ok if they broke into your house as long as what, they did not commit another crime against you?

BTW, I am sure the country you live in has immigration laws just like the US.

you know what I mean Red and breaking into onces home is different then passing a border.

and actualy our laws are a lot more strict concerning illegals then US laws.

SM: Then some one who enters the Netherlands illegally is booted, arent they? They are arrested by your version of ICE and thrown out of the country. Why is the US not allowed to do the same? Hell, Mexico has a ruthless immigration policy.

I immigrated and am now an American citizen. I followed all the rules an obeyed all the immigration laws and am furious that there is a double standard. How can you rationalize breaking the law as a reasonable objective of legal residence?
      __________
SM I agree with you 100%. Makes it seem like a President of the US cares less that you followed the rules. However, know that most every other American does.

Yes, one sure way to remain invincible is to
‘redistribute’ the People’s Tax Dollars to those
who will depend on the ‘Government’ and
thus vote for the continuing flow of free money.
Now, all we have to do is figure out who is
dispensing all that ‘magic’ free money with
invincibility in mind and we have have the
      culprit(s) unmasked.

    8. Moi on April 22nd, 2011 1:35 pm

Not surprised Obama would make such a comment.

they are put in camps till judge says ok, boot them.

to vote here Dolf, all you need at the polls is an ID *(usually a drivers license is all required).. no documentation, etc., and illegals get pretty good fraudulent documentation… yes, they do vote (illegally) and it’s sickening. Many legislatures, our Governor even were petitioning for illegals to get drivers licenses… (perhaps to vote)… it’s wrong, wrong, wrong! as they are breaking laws and most of our legislatures, don’t give a crap~

I admired Janet Brewer, Gov. of Arizona and have a friend who lives in that State and it’s really bad there ~ so many folks are being murdered as the drug cartels are assassinating innocent people as drugs are being dropped off on their property/ranches… Our country is imploding.

Anyhow ~ it’s a very complex issue and I’m all for immigrants coming into our country… legally.

For any legislature, or President to allow this is really breaking our laws and not holding them in high regard. It’s a joke.

If I were to go to the Netherlands, Mexico even ~ illegally ~ or Russia, say… I’d be getting the boot.

It’s all screwed up in our country and I pray, during our next election that people wake up, before it’s too late and I’m feeling, Dolf, it’s already too late, America is not what it once was and truly, it’s scary.

Moving to America, living in America, and working in America should not be illegal.

SM: Sorry dude, it is illegal to live and work in America is you are not a citizen or did not go thru the process to become a citizen or have the proper documentation to work here. Sorry, but every other country has the same policy. So cry me a river.

Try going to Mexico as an illegal and see what happens. I dare you.

#12-You are really, I mean REALLY stupid.

Did anyone say it is illegal to move here or live or work here ?

My Grandparents were literally IMMIGRANTS from Naples, literally RIGHT OFF THE BOAT when they came to America in the 1930′s.

THEY DID IT THE LEGAL WAY—-now what is about the LEGAL/ILLEGAL immigration you DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

You Moron Libtards will never get a CLUE.

    14. Joseph Curtin on April 26th, 2011 1:00 pm

I listened to the Obama speech, and didn’t hear him say anything about illegals who came across the Rio Grande. He did say that those who came across the Rio Grande (presumedly legally), those who came by slave shilp (presumably legally), and those who came via Ellis Island (presumably leagally) are all equal. Where did he say anything about illegals sneaking or swimming across the Rio Grande? The Rio Grande has always been knows as the symbolic border between the US and Mexico (and the actual border between Texas and Mexico), and legal immigrants from Mexico cross it when they come here.
