Two US Airman Killed on German Bus as Gunman Yelled “Allahu Akbar” During Shootings … Obama Will Spare No Effort

Two US Airman were killed yesterday in Germany as an individual opened fire on their bus near Frankfurt airport. Was it terrorism? Hint, the gunman yelled “Allahu Akbar”during the shooting. The shooting suspect, 21 year man who is reported be a devout Muslim raised in Germany with links to Kosovo, was arrested. Two other US airman were also injured in the shooting.

Two US Air Force personnel have been killed after a gunman fired on a bus outside Frankfurt airport.

Air Force spokeswoman Major Beverly Mock said German police have the suspect in custody and that she could not release any further details on the victims until their next of kin have been told.

The men who died were based in UK, the Air Force said.

Two other people are said to have been injured in the incident and police have reportedly arrested a 21-year-old suspect, who is said to be a devout Muslim raised in Germany with links to Kosovo.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, expressed sadness and said, “We have to do everything we can to find out what happened.”

UPDATE I: As reported at the Gateway Pundit via Fox News, the shooter identified as Arif Uka, a Kosovo citizen from the northern town of Mitrovica. U.S. House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Patrick Meehan, said in Washington that it looked like a terrorist attack.

UPDATE II:Obama says that he will spare no effort in learning how this outrageous act took place, see video below from the Politico. Just curious Mr. President, what part about the gunman yelling “Allahu Akbar” was lost in translation? One might think that we would start from the perspective that it was terrorism, hmm?

“I’m saddened, and I am outraged, by this attack that took the lives of two Americans and wounded two others,” he said in a brief statement. “I think the American people are united in expressing our gratitude for the service of those who were lost.”

Obama told reporters he and first lady Michelle Obama “are praying for a speedy recovery for those who were injured” and for those who lost loved ones. He also promised that the government would use every resource to discover “how this outrageous attack took place.”

Agence France-Presse reported that the attack occurred on a bus carrying Air Force personnel to Frankfurt International Airport for a flight to the U.S.

How difficult is it for Obama to say that this was an act of terrorism and Islamic jihad?

      It’s unfortunate that a Political/Religious system
can be stereotyped in a negative fashion by simply
a few hundred million bad seeds within. Barry may
not want to refer to the estimated 10% engaged as
terrorists as such in order not to bring undue focus
      on an otherwise peaceful organization.

Is there an automatic equivalence that violence from a religious fervor is terrorism?

      2,

You’ve stumped me; I have no idea what you’re talking about.

How can #2 possibly stump you? He is little more than a bump in the road to intelligent discourse, no more, no less…

I would suggest that you carry on your engaging debates with people of higher standards as you only waste your time gawking at gibberish and deciphering of unintelligible remarks.

It doesn’t take an Einstein to see that we are failing to take note of overt signs of discontent with many that maintain Islamofascist beliefs. The risk becomes greater when we close our eyes and pretend that they are dependable in a military setting.

Yes, terrorism is also attacking what they refer to as “soft targets” as well and unfortunate as it may be, radical Islam is at the heart of it.

The duty of our Commander in Chief is to recognize this and take steps to eliminate or at the very least minimize the threat. He is failing at this as well by ignoring the base core of the threat/problem at hand. His instruction of forbidding certain terms certainly did not assist in resolving the problem, either.

But in this case it is.

    8. President Barack Hussin Obama Refuses to Call Murder of Two American Airman a Terrorist Act | Scared Monkeys on March 4th, 2011 11:06 am

[...] What is wrong with this President? Why can’t Barack Obama call an act of terrorism for what it really was … an act of terrorism? Why can’t Obama call the individual below a terrorist who performed a terrorist act as he yelled“Allhu Akbar.”  During yesterdays brief presser by Obama never mentioned  the word terror or terrorist. [...]
