National Enquirer Reports OJ Simpson Beat To Bloody Pulp in Prison Attack … But Was He?

The National Enquirer reported in an exclusive that former NFL great and present disgraced felon, OJ Simpson, was beaten to a bloody pulp and unconscious in a prison yard attack. The Enquirer went on to say that a skin head pounded on O.J.’s head, shoulders and upper body until “The Juice” fell unconscious to the ground in a bloody mess. O.J. Simpson is presently serving a nine year sentence in Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center for his  involvement in an armed memorabilia robberyin Las Vegas.

Disgraced gridiron great O.J. SIMPSON was beaten unconscious in a brutal prison yard attack, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Inmates cheered as a muscular young skinhead knocked him to the ground, punching and kicking him to a bloody pulp and inflicting injuries so severe he secretly spent nearly three weeks in the infirmary before he recovered.

The humiliating beating left 63-year-old Simpson in agony – and threw him into a spiral of depression so deep that he’s now afraid to venture out of his cell, divulge sources.

However, did the attack really happen or was it just wishful and creating thinking on the part of The Enquirer? However, as reported at AOL.News …  the story was not true. Steve Suwe, the public information officer for the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada called the story,”totally bogus.”

Lovelock spokesman Steve Suwe told Surge Desk, “None of that happened. We’ve talked to him, we know where he’s at, he’s physically fine.” He added that Simpson “just does his time. He’s not a big issue for us and the inmates.”

I guess the Enquirer need to continue to focus on reports of former NC Senator John Edwards. They seem to get those 100% correct.

Despicable: CBS News Reporter Lara Logan Sexually Assaulted & Beaten by Group of Egyptian Men During Anti-Mubarak, Freedom Protests

PEACE AND FREEDOM???

On the very day that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, we learn that CBS’ foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the story in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes,” was separated from her news crew, surrounded by a group of men and savagely sexual assaulted and beaten. She was flown back to the United States and is in a New York hospital recovering. Little more is being said.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently home recovering.

 In a word, sickening! Has their ever been a news event that was supposed to be based on freedom where so many journalist covering the story were put in danger and attacked? Lara Logan had earlier been detained in Egypt. I have to agree with Jammie Wearing Fool regarding … so this is how peace loving Egyptians celebrate their freedom from a dictator, with a good old fashion “gang rape” of an American female infidel.

What might be just as sickening, from NRO comes a report of  the reaction to Logan’s assault from a fellow at the NYU Center for Law and Security, Nir Rosen.

But let’s just remember one thing going forward: Nir Rosen believed this was the right moment to let the world know that he “ran out of sympathy for her” and that we should “remember her role as a major war monger” and that we “have to find humor in the small things.”

YouTube Stupidity … Stanislav Vadimovich Bakanov Arrested for Speeding after Filming Car Going 140 MPH

Stupid is, what stupid does …

A Portland, OR man, Stanislav Vadimovich Bakanov was arrested by police for speeding in his black 2005 BMW, clocked at 118 mph. But wait, it gets better, or narcissistic as the case may be.  Bakanov had filmed his speedometer of his car while driving more than 140 mph. Why might you ask? So that he could post the video on YouTube. UNREAL. Needless to say, the video of his excessive speeding was confiscated and will be used against him. However, the 140 mph was not even close to the bufoon doing 190 mph and his arrest.

He was arrested and confined in Marion County jail Saturday night, charged with reckless driving and speeding. It was his third speeding incident in the past year. The video was confiscated and will be used as evidence against him.

 WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? A note to the not so bright, you might want to not video tape yourself committing a crime. Just a thought.

Is Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio Running for Senate seat of Retiring for the seat of retiring Jon Kyl (R-AZ) in 2012?

US Senator … Joe Arpaio?

Ever since Arizona US Senator Jon Kyl announced that he was retiring and would not run in 2012, many have come forward and names have been speculated as possible candidates for the open seat. The latest to put their toe in the political water is Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. 

Maricopa Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Monday he is open to the possibility of running for the seat of retiring Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) in 2012.

Arpaio, the conservative sheriff famous for his hard-line anti-immigration stances, made the remarks in light of a poll released today by Summit Consulting Group Inc., which is fundraising for Arpaio’s reelection campaign for sheriff. The company’s Chad Willems is Arpaio’s campaign manager.

The poll by the Summit Consulting Group had some rather interestng results, including Arpaio in the lead over other perspective GOP candidates.

The poll reported 21 percent of likely GOP voters would choose Arpaio; 17 percent would vote for Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.); 16.6 percent favored former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-Ariz.), who challenged Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the 2010 GOP Senate primary; 12 percent would vote for Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz.) and 6 percent would choose freshman Rep. Ben Quayle (R-Ariz.).

One thing is for certain, illegal immigration would be provided an interesting voice from Arpaio. Wouldn’t you love to see an illegal immigration and amnesty exchange between Arpaio and RINO Lindsey Graham. What a breath of fresh air Arpaio would add to the US Senate. And yes, Senator Joe Arpaio does have a nice sound.

University of Miami School of Medicine Study Says Energy Drinks Could Pose a Risk & Danger for Children

Energy drinks might not just cause hyperactivity, but could also be harmful.

A University of Miami study determined that energy drinks like “Red Bull” could pose a health risk to children, especially those with diabetes, seizures, cardiac abnormalities or mood and behavior disorders. The beverage industry claims that the energy drinks have the same or less caffeine than a cup of coffee. It might not just be the caffeine that is the issue. Energy drinks contain high levels of stimulants such as caffeine,taurine and guarana. Safe levels of consumption of these ingredients haven’t been established for children.

The study, called “Health Effects of Energy Drinks on Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults,” says the energy drinks “have no therapeutic benefit to children, and both the known and unknown properties of the ingredients, combined with reports of toxicity, may put some children at risk for adverse health events.”

Surveys show that 30% to 50% of teens and young adults consume energy drinks, but “we didn’t see evidence that drinks have beneficial effects in improving energy, weight loss, stamina, athletic performance and concentration,” Lipshultz says.

He encourages pediatricians and parents to talk to kids and teens about whether they should be drinking such beverages.

10 Year Old Trinity Gilbert Missing Since February 12, 2011 from Kingman, AZ (UPDATE: Found Safe)

10 year old Trinity Gilbert has been missing since 2/12/11 in Kingman, AZ. She was last seen at her home in the 2200 block of E. John L Avenue early February 12, Saturday afternoon around 1:00 pm. Trinity was reported missing when she did not come home that evening.

Trinity Gilbert Description:

• 10 year old a white female
• 4’06″ tall
• weighing 90 pounds
• blue eyes
• brown hair
• She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and white and gray Nike tennis shoe with one heel torn off.
• She may also be wearing a dark blue long sleeve zip-up sweater without a hood which has light blue lines that runs from the shoulders down to the wrists.

Trinity Gilbert ran away from home when she was 9; however, foul play has not been ruled out.
