Shocker, Rahm Emanuel Wins Chicago Mayoral Election

SURPRISE … SURPRISE … SURPRISE …

It’s a political shocker out of Chicago, IL …Rahm Emanuel wins the Chicago Mayoral election, NOT. Wasn’t this election already preordained prior to the first vote cast? As stated at Hot Air, Emanuel is voted Mayor for life … after all, that is the Chicago “ala” Daily way.

Rahm Emanuel, the former chief of staff to President Barack Obama, won the Chicago mayoral election over five other challengers Tuesday, topping the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff vote.

Former Obama Chief of Staff avoids runoff by tallying more than 50% of the vote. Being Chicago, I am sure the machine found a couple, two, three cemeteries to come up with the necessary vote.

I guess to many people this was not such a surprise, and despite suggestions as to election irregularities, significantly inline with various polls taken. Unless, besides innuendo, there is any evidence to support any serious claim that the vote taken is not legitimate, claims of such are likely attributable to sour grapes or lack of a solid grasp of the facts.

      4,

I understand your talking points, but I wonder if this is an opinion-based or fact-based dialog. I’ve posted facts that seem to clearly show the electorate favored Rahm in the same percentages as the election.

Is there room to debate relevant data, and leave name-calling for those with a desire to cheer for their team? Simple acknowledging or self-labeling rhetoric for what it is would seem to be the transparent approach.

Do you remember the story of the Pied Piper when you were a kid? Reminds me of Obama and now Emanuel. Too many poor simple people in this world.

5, Respectfully—so what the hell is your point?

The reason I am calling him names is elementary.

He is each and every one of those adjectives described. Perhaps you are correct that my post was only my own personal opinion and views, but as time passes—History will reflect and repeat itself.

Rahm will rob the common Middle Class American blind while in office, and then you can issue your apology for my general predictions.

He is a Master at it, and brilliant at his craft. It will, of course be disguised as otherwise.

SOCIALIST, a WOLF in WOLF’s clothing. Rahm may be crafty, salty and tough- but he is also transparent. Just like we all knew when he resigned his post at the White House what his next Master Plan was. So far, he is running right on schedule.

      7,

Well, I think I saw your comment as feedback for mine (1), and was looking for a dialog, if there was one to be had. In rereading yours, I think I was seeing something that wasn’t there. Oops!

And of course, you are fully entitled to your opinion. Oh yeah, time will tell (eventually).

Steve..nobody gives a sh*t about some Napoleon complexing; ballet dancing midget like Rahm.

Everyone knows Chicago politics are the most corrupt in the nation and always have been.

Go **** yourself with your Rahm love affair.

Maybe now the President declared himself a Supremem Court justice by declaring DOMA unconstitutional; it will clear the way for you and Rahm to marry!

      10,

Just because I have a penchant for facts and not being fooled by BS, does not mean I support any specific ideology. I really have not followed Rahm either before this presidency, or since. He is not of interest to me in the least.

From my understanding, those who use anti-gay slurs and other such offensive language may be overcompensating for their hidden personality traits.

In any case, I’m happily married, and I’m sure my with of many years has no affection for Rahm either.

      Thanks for sharing your opinion.
