Oops, President Barack Obama Confuses Iraq & Afghanistan … “Combat Operations in Afghanistan Have Ended”

Barack Obama, oh he’s Reaganesque all right, NOT!

During a recent interview, as reported by the Politico, Obama made a complete muddled mess out of  out of his plans for withdrawing troops from the region. The Commander in Chief stated, “Combat Operations in Afghanistan Have Ended.”Really, who knew? I guess we can blame the gaffe on Obama’s teleprompter because we all know that the MSM will never question him on his glaring mistake. Doesn’t it instill confidence in America that their president does not know the difference between Iraq and Afghanistan? This coming from the man who the media calls the smartest president ever.

Who needs VP Joe Biden for gaffes when we have Barack Hussein Obama …

“As I said, we will be out of Afghanistan by the end of this year… Combat operations in Afghanistan have ended.”

Video hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

Can you imagine the hue and cry that would have gone out through out the land by the MSM if GWB or Reagan had made such a gaffe? What about Sarah Palin? But for some reason Barack Obama always gets a free pass on all of his screw ups. What else would one expect from a bias media.

The full interview can be seen HERE.

Fools often seek great power to compensate
for their shortcomings. Here is a self-serving
candidate for ‘Ruler of One World Government’.

      rightnight

When the state dinner in honor of the Communist dictator of China is considered … when the Islamic dictator of Egypt is referred to as a “friend” of America is considered … I hear ya.

Obama is allowed to have an OOPS. Sarah Palin can’t.

Obama is allowed to refer to the opposition of a democratic government as the “enemy”. Sara Palin cannot use a target analogy in regards to election strategies.

Face it. A double standard exists.

Since Reverend Wright has been so careless in his
interpretation of the Bible’s scriptures, who can
blame his protege, Barry, for casual oversights
      in worldy affairs?

Most of the ‘confusion’ this Barry Soetoro (oh, did he
change his name, when?) suffers from is related to
determining the difference between truth and fiction.

in either case, he is lying. my daughter’s
fiance is in Iraq now and he says there will
be combat troops in Iraq indefinitely. the cratties don’t want anyone to know this or it
would make obubble look like the liar he is.

#10- Hey, SD—well God Bless your Daughter’s Fiance for his service to our Country, and of course, you are right.

Like any war- the US will still have a vast numbers of our troops employed there indefinitely. How many years after the Korean War and the US still has an active Military base there ? While the numbers of troops on active duty may have decreased, the US will continue to have a presence there for years to come. As you stated, anyone who claims otherwise is lying.
