Return of the Jedi … Sarah Palin Says to Liberal MSM, “I Am Not Going to Shut Up”

The Momma Grizzly responds …

During an interview last night on Fox News, Sarah Palin stated to Sean Hannity that despite the constant attacks by Democrats and the liberal MSM, “I am not going to shut up.” Those who respectfully and rightfully petition their government for change cannot make us sit down or shut up. Getting rid of respectful dissent would destroy our Republic. You do not use a tragedy to try and stifle political debate.

Those of you on the LEFT might want to listen to her words. A stifling of free speech might just be one days be yours as well. The full interview can be seen at Sean Hannity.

i’ve seen comments today on other sites from democrats and liberals saying that they wished Sarah Palin and her family were dead. this should tell the nation where these losers’ minds are.
these same cowards, like their politicians have back jumped Sarah and her family ever since she ran for vice president and she still stands up to these cowardly losers and doesn’t back down.
democrats fear a strong minded woman and it shows in their nasty mouth comments. to wish death on someone’s children should be a jailable offense.

That is one thing I will agree with Sarah on, she has every right to speak her mind on whatever topics she chooses, that is everyone’s right last I looked. But luckily we can turn off the TV or radio, and not have to hear what she and others are saying if we want to.

I am a democrat, never would I say that I would want Sarah Palin and her family dead, never. Since I’m a woman I don’t fear a strong minded woman. I wish people would stop lumping all democrats as vicious and thoughtless people. And by the way, I voted for McCain last election because at the time, I felt he was the better candidate. I actually am able to vote for the person not blindly follow a party.

What about Eric Fuller? We already have discussed here that there is some compassion for him to be had since he was a victim of the Tuscon shootings.

However, if this guy were a Tea Partier, his shout of “You’re Dead!” would have been the lead story on MSNBC. Instead, they completely ignored and underplayed the significance of his act on MSNBC for starters.

Shameless, bogus, lame—you pick the word. There’s a reason the mainstream media have a reputation as partisan, dishonest hacks:

      They’ve earned it.

Sarah will not take a back seat to anyone, and should not be vilified for speaking up about what she believes in. She wasn’t treated fairly at all when she was McCain’s running mate, and her family was also attacked, up to and including her handicapped child. OFF LIMITS.

Once again, Palin is being treated unfairly and harshly by the LEFT. I give her tons of credit for speaking up for herself and not taking this BS.

There is never an excuse to go after kids of politicians and especially saying crude things about a child with Down Syndrome. Young children of any politician should be off limits.

#4 Newgirl – I’m sure you would agree (most everyone left/right/indie has) that she has spent all of her media time since the shootings defending her image, when she should have been offering introspection and leadership, as well as displaying empathy for the victims. Palin did none of that.

And I think you’d also agree, based off her facebook teleprompter debacle and that disaster last night, that her deeply paranoid nature makes it impossible for her to rise to an occasion and put aside pettiness.
      _____________
SM: Pettiness? Taking advantage and trying to mahe political hay of a mass killing that had nothing to do with what the liberal MSM tried to spin is beyond petty, its vile and disgusting.

So #4 – What’s the significance of Palin’s acts by putting crosshairs on Rep. Giffords and telling her peeps to “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!”?

Fox News completely ignored this and they would be just as much a part of the mainstream media as MSNBC would. So tell us which one Fox News is: Shameless, bogus, or lame? You pick.
      ___________
SM: yoyo, you write any insulting posts and they will be deleted like the one that started out with a personal attack. This site is tolerating no more of you BS. Post a comment in a civil manner and it will be approved, anything else will be deleted.

If every one talked the same, the world would be a pretty boring place. Depending on one’s back ground and personality determines their speach. I would not expect a NY upperclass socialite to to use the same vernacular as a midtwest farmer. Its no slight to either, its just a fact.

BTW yoyo, do you watch or follow sports? Have you never heard the term that the team is reloading as a metaphor for retooling, etc? These are metaphors, they are not literal. Give me a break. Lets see, I guess you want teh store “TARGET” to change their name because that is threatening?

Oh, and I guess all boardrooms in America have to stop “target” marketing?

I just heard that they were removing the bullseye from all dart boards because that might cause people to shoot others.

    8. yoyo muffintop on January 18th, 2011 10:02 pm

You and I know exactly why you deleted my post….this moderated website, and many of your posters, defended a person that believed the current President of the US should be assassinated.
Nice try on the crosshairs spin…..you do understand the difference between gunsight crosshairs and a target symbol don’t you?
      _________
SM: Yes, you do know why i deleted your post, you are a guest here and will act with civility, as you claim others must. Guess what, that begins with you.

No, I don’t think you understand the difference. I guess you were also against the 2004 targeted bullseye Democrat map. You must also be against the Dem Joe Manchin political ad where he used a real rifle with scope to shoot the “Cap & Trade” bill.

Like I said before, tomorrow I am going to state in the weekly meeting that we are no longer allowed to do target marketing because yoyo said so.

“… … journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn.” Palin

If words and symbols don’t matter, why does Palin say they do? Or is she just an idiot that really didn’t know what blood libel meant when she read it off the TelePrompTer?

One thing we ALL know now – she is a narcissistic quitter that’s constantly on a victimhood parade.
      Just ask Newt.

You 20%ers sure choose to defend some strange things.
      ________________
SM: Actually the LEFT is so pissed off with Palin’s reference to “blood libel” because she nailed it and the LEFT. There probably was no better comparison to what the liberal MSM did that a “blood libel”.

      Sorry if the truth hurts.

I love how Sarah gets the left all worked up. It’s priceless.

    11. Rusty Bridges on January 19th, 2011 9:21 am

You will never convince a liberal that a crosshair is just a symbol or the word reload is a metaphor because in their mind they could easily be manipulated by such symbols and talk.
Look at their language and actions. No person in their right mind would wish death on anybody let alone a public official. Such a threat should carry great weight. Yet Sarah Palin is subjected to death threats from the left on a daily basis.

What do you expect from a group of people with the mind set that it is okay to murder an unborn child?

    12. no rose colored glasses on January 19th, 2011 10:53 am

Obama is also subjected to death threats, and I would doubt very much if liberals are the ones threatening. Wonder if those threats are coming from people that can’t except the fact that women have the right to choose, or more sinister reasons? And really, wishing death on anyone, regardless of who you are, I would hope most people grasp that it is wrong.

    13. NGBoston on January 19th, 2011 12:07 pm

      Anger? Vitriol?
What about these statements from President Obama:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” – June 2008.

“I want you to go out and talk to your neighbors… I want you to argue with them, get in their faces. – September 2008.

“I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry. I’m angry.” – March 2009

Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat”- Sept. 2008

Obama to lib supporters:“It’s time to Fight for it.”

Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”

      ————————————————–
Now YOYO—-here is the best statement Obama has made to date. Perhaps this is the one we should ALL pay the MOST ATTENTION TO:

“What we can’t do is use this tragedy as one more occasion to turn on each other”- President Barack Obama

      January 13, 2010

      ‘Nuff said.

    14. NGBoston on January 19th, 2011 12:09 pm

Correction on date—the comment made about Republicans was October 2010, actually. My bad.

    15. no rose colored glasses on January 19th, 2011 12:29 pm

Both sides spew nonsense and ridiculous and embarrassing comments quite often I think. And I sure will agree it is rather fun to watch people get all worked up over Sarah, pointless and priceless.

    16. Montana on January 20th, 2011 4:43 pm

Newt just wants another chance to find another intern to fool around with, sure he marries them, but he also cheats on his wife while doing it, as for half-term Palin, well come on “Think Before Speaking”, not possible she just has defective genes.
