Megyn Kelly Takes On Political Hack Sheriff Dupnik Over His “Political Spin” Agenda On jared Loughner Shooting

Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik criticizes other of hate and vitriol and then does it himself …

There is nothing more sick and pathetic, than to take advantage and trying to play politics with a terrible tragic event like a mass shooting with multiple deaths. However, that did not stop Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik who, without any evidence, accused other for the gunman’s actions. SICK!

However, Fox News Megyn Kelly took on the liberal biased Sheriff Dupnik on his comments immediately following the heinous mass shooting that left six dead and numerous injured, including Arizona US Rep. Gabby Giffords.

Megyn Kelly asks Dupnik, “The viewers want to know why you are putting a political spin on this when you should be focusing on the facts.” Isn’t it amazing that we have this terrible moment in time where we can bring people together, pray for the wounded and the dead and thank the heroes who subdued the gunman and helped the victims … instead we have this so-called law enforcement official who tries to divide us even more. This man has no shame and needs to step down.

When Megyn Kelly askedSheriff Dupik whether he had any evidence to his accusations, he said no and that this was his opinion. Can you imagine, a law enforcement officer not concerned with facts and evidence and only his opinions. UNREAL! This guy has the audacity to criticize others of vitriol!

More from Mediaite:

On Fox News, Megyn Kelly interviewed the man in charge of the Arizona shooting investigation, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik. Kelly introduced the interview saying, “it is always a difficult task to try to assign reason to an irrational act, but that is one of the things that Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is trying to do.”

From there, Kelly was persistent, yet extremely deferential as she expressed the doubts of many who are wondering why the Sheriff is so publicly offering his speculative opinion that “vitriolic rhetoric” helped lead to the tragedy. Although the sheriff had no specific evidence of such rhetoric yet, he claimed there is “no doubt in my mind that when a number of people night and day try to inflame the public, that there’s going to be some consequences from doing that and I think it’s irresponsible to do that.”

When he also warned that “free speech is free speech but it’s not without consequences,” Kelly questioned whether it was appropriate for a sheriff to be injecting their political spin? The sheriff answered that ultimately it’s up to the viewers to decide.

Liberal hypocrisy knows no limits. Get this quote from the above VIDEO interview from political hack Sheriff Dupnik, “Well I think difference of opinion is what makes the world go round and round. But I think it is irresponsible of us not at some point to address this kind of behavior and put a stop to it. There is no doubt in my mind that there are consequences to this kind of behavior. When credible people get up in front of cameras and microphones and say things that are not true and try to inflame the public I think free speach is free speach, but its not without consequence.”

Later  Sheriff Dupnik said he had no evidence of his opinion, it was just his opinion. Hmm, isn’t this hack getting up in front of a camera, saying things that are not true, stirring the pot and inflaming the public?

Where were all the outspoken Libtards now when the Left actually compared Bush to Hitler?? I would really like the answer to this.

There is not ONE SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE that ties the shooter to any POLITICAL cause. Yet the Left seems hell bent to try and use this shooting to silence the critics of Government.

Can the Left do us all a favor this morning, sit down and read the Constitution and in particular the course of American Politics. My Nwphew is currently serving in the US Army so that United States Citizens can have the right to SPEAK THEIR MINDS. I have read nothing on-line, or anywhere for that matter, that encourages ANYONE to shoot Public Officials. Our Government has brought us to the brink of financial disaster and we damn well have the RIGHT to speak out and protest against the policies of our Government without some Left Wing Scribe trying to link the single actions of a deranged madman to those who speak out against the direction our Government is heading.

All those who are participating in the practice of “the blame game” are participating in one of the most despicable journalistic practices that should not be tolerated in America.

Shame on all in the Media who are willing to use the deaths of these poor souls as a vehicle for Political Propaganda campaign against the right and more importantly against the right of free speech and the right to speak out.

maybe this Barney Fife wanna be needs to read back to what his boy obama said.
” if they bring a knife to a fight, we’ll bring a gun ” out of the wanna be president’s own mouth and it looks like he got what he wanted.

As always, 3 cheers for Megyn. That gal is fearless and always calls it like it is (remember her phone interview with Cindy Anthony).

Lets compare California to Arizona on murder Stats in 2009.
Arizona has no gun laws. California very strict.

      Crime Rate
      AZ 2009 population 6,595,778 354 murders.
      CA 2009 population 36,961,664 1,972 murders.

If you adjust AZ to the size of CA you have almost the same Crime rate. About 12 murders more in AZ. How many murders gun related? Arizona also has a bigger border with Mexico? Is that a factor?

When he also warned that “free speech is free speech but it’s not without consequences,

First: Isn’t he allowed hs opionions esp. after he says it are his opinions and not facts?
Second: What is wrong with this statement?
Third: It can come at a cost we had Theo van Gogh killed

and please that Megan woman isn’t trying to put a spin on it?
“free speech is free speech but it’s not without consequences”

Gee, no dah. Maybe the Sheriff might want to take his own advice. Inflame the public … you meam like when the Democrats passed Obamacare against the will of the people? You ean like they they tried to push Cap & Trade against the will of the people? You mean like when Obama called Republicans enemies?

Please … however, 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of Americans took out their rage at the Ballot box in 2010 and put their own target on Demcrats and voted them out of office. It had nothing to do with violence … it was politcal free speech.

Now democrats are trying to play politics with this shooting. How typical.

This guy may have been in LE a little too long. Maybe its time he retired. Sometimes people in high ranking positions like this become too impressed with there own importance. I for one is not the least bit interested in his opinion. He needs to do his job and get over himself.

What country did he grow up in that is so different than today?

He didn’t get the paper on the morning of Kennedy assanation or Dr. Martin Luther King? Bobby Kennedy, Malcom X, Medgar Evers, George Rockwell, Fred Hampton, Marcus Foster to name a few. What country was he living in when the Weather Underground bombed police stations and killed people or how about the SLA? No riots or war demonstrations shown in the TV in the country he grew up in? Democratic convention in Chicago? Bueller…Bueller…Bueller……

      Typical US politics.
SM: Actually Dems have a history of doing this more so. Suddenly the opportunist try and pass lefislation that they could not do otherwise and they demonize people. Obama actually asked people to come together and they did not listen to him.

    9. Dolf on January 11th, 2011 10:16 am

and the Reps don’t do that???

come on, US politics is filled with hatred and foul language.
SM: I could care less about heated debate and rhetoric, when you fail to listen to the will of the American people and act like a King and not a Representative Democracy, we have an issue.

When is he up for reelection? Bet he won’t get elected for another term!

He has opened mouth, inserted boot.

Janet Napolitano (DHLS) did the *hit*, w/ lots of help from her “Internet Hitman” (and “fiance”) — Andrew Alan Escher Auernheimer. Manchurian Candidate style…

The govt IMMEDIATELY began to look the OTHER WAY from the facts. They immediately began SPINNING the reality of the situation.

    12. Debra Denman on February 14th, 2011 1:35 pm

Kelly immediately labels the hit, “irrational”.

HER statement is irrational, as she has NOTHING to base her opinion on.

The truth is, it wasn’t an isolated incident, but a govt conspiracy.
