Elizabeth Edwards’ Will Makes no Mention & Leaves Nothing to Cheating Estranged Husband John Edwards

File this one under, who could blame her … or Hell have no fury …

Elizabeth Edwards, who died of breast cancer last month, according to her will left her entire estate valued at  $1,496,000, to her children and made no mention of her estranged husband, former Democrat North Carolina US Senator and VP candidate John Edwards. Can anyone blame her? Why would she leave anything to the lying, cheating, baby daddy pond scum known as John Edwards. Our apologies to pond scum. Elizabeth Edwards passed away on December 7, 2010.

Elizabeth thinks to herself: “this clown actually thinks I am going to leave him anything in my will.”

See Elizabeth Edward’s will HERE (pdf)

Filed just days before her death, Edwards’ will names daughter Cate Edwards, 28, as executor and leaves the estate to her and the couple’s other two children, Emma Claire and Jack.

“All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children,” said the will, signed on December 1, 2010.

There is no mention of her husband in Edwards’ will, seen by some media and published online by The Huffington Post, ABC News and other sites.

Why should Elizabeth Edwards have left anything to her cheating estranged husband when his personal fortune is estimated at $29.5 million to $62 million?

John may have so many things going against
his persona that at least one thing might be
said on his behalf, and that is his hair. One
thing he really cared about and spent time
and money on is that. So, let’s hear it for John’s
      hair!

I don’t think it’s a matter of money for husband but a matter of self-respect. Can you imagine how he feels after her will? it’s as though they didn’t have anything to share.
      ____________
SM: Are you serious? Self respect? John Edwards? Like he provided any respect for his wife who was battling cancer when he was having an affair and a baby with another woman! You need a reality check dude.

      @32-Daphna—-Edwards is a complete Tool.

Hop on the clue bus before it runs your ass over.

John Edwards lived a lie and got caught. I don’t feel sorry for him either. The typical liberal showing what he is made of…nothing but hogwash.

      (except lovely hair? :)

      Rightknight,

I read about the expense of his hair cut and wrote an e-mail to his headquarters protesting how the American people would view the obvious waste of money. I was informed that he paid for it after being told it wasn’t a campaign expense. Even then he was trying something unethical. There are not enough hairs on his head to warrant the cost. Being rich doesn’t buy class, especially when you’re politically dead.

Lynne, my guess is there are quite a few liberals who will be politically dead come 2012. They will blame the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, the moon, the stars…ANYone but themselves which is the liberal way.

don’ think cheating is a “liberal” thing
more of a show of character
      _________
SM: the cheating is not a liberal things, it just shows he is a scumbag.

Hi there Dork. Is it dark where you keep your head planted? I’m sure its smelly.

Wrong. The bulk of the estate is held in the Edwards Anania trust. The personal effects referenced in the will is peanuts relative to the trust, jointly held by her and John, and now, undoubtedly, just by him.

    11. Brenda in Virginia on January 10th, 2011 1:57 pm

Susan, actually, the will he was left out of was for what she and she alone owned. Which may include what she owned jointly with him/her half.

Divorced couples owning something jointly isn’t unusual. My friend (also my realtor) has been divorced from her hubby many years. She has her own lake front home and they still jointly own the auto business they purchased and ran while married. I cannot say for sure, but I bet she is leaving her remaining half to her sons…NOT to her x. How it often is with folks that have $$$. Unless of course there are legalities that won’t allow it which I doubt.

I’m glad she left that creep out of her will.

Susan, I bet she left her half of it to the kids..NOT John.

Mr. Edwards seems to always put his own needs ahead
of his family. Lying, cheating, and stealing is within his
reach. Had he been elected to say President of these
United States, he would likely continue those priorities.
Luckily, we ended up with a principled man who places
needs of Country ahead of his own desires to play golf,
basketball, travel, vacation, and dreams of becoming
      King of the World!
