Barney Frank Says Death Tax Not Punishment Because Heirs Didn’t do Anything to Deserve It … But Government Does

Double taxation death taxes are AOK for Barney Franks.

US Rep. Barry Franks (D-MA) says that high estate taxes are perfectly ok because the heirs did nothing to earn it and that its a pure gift to someone who hasn’t done it on their own and did not work hard. They were just lucky enough to be related to some one who gave them the money.

But in the eyes of Liberal Democrats, its just fine for the government to take someone’s money where the government did nothing to earn it or work for it . In fact, the government has already taxed the assets at least once.  These liberals would rip the gold fillings from your teeth if possible.

AMBER ALERT Issued in Pickens County, SC for Abduction of Missing 1 Year Old Kynadi Leigh Grace Manley & 2 Year Old Alexis London Marie Manley … Mother Keyly Martay Wade Suspect (Amber Alert Cancelled)

An AMBER ALERT has been issued in Pickens County, South Carolina for two toddlers who have been abducted by what is being reported as their bio mom early Wednesday morning.  According to reports. 20 year old  Keyly Martay Wade of Old Easley Bridge Road, in Easley abducted her two daughters,  1 year old Kynadi Leigh Grace Manley and 2 year-old Alexis London Marie Manley from a home on Old Easley Bridge Road in Easley. Wade was driving a red 1996 Honda Civic with a South Carolina license plate 1885OEH. Also, the passenger side rear hubcap is missing and the vehicle has tinted windows and dent on driver side hood. The missing car  belongs to the aunt, and has a tag on the front that reads: “you can’t be first, but you can be next.”

 Kynadi Leigh Grace Manley as 2 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 28 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing pink pajamas with a turtle design. Alexis London Marie Manley is 3 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing purple pajamas with a monkey design. She also has a bob style haircut.

According to Capt. Carl Hudson with the sheriff’s office, the abduction happened sometime overnight. He said a caregiver had custody of the children. When she woke up this morning, she discovered the children were gone and her car was stolen, he said. She called 911 about 6:45 this morning, according to the AMBER Alert.

Though the alert listed Wade as a suspect, Hudson said investigators considered her more of a person of interest.

“We have officers out following up leads, but at this point, we don’t know who has the girls or where they might be,” Hudson said.

Deputies are making the assumption the children are in danger due to the fact that they don’t know who has them, Hudson said.

Wade was described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes, with shoulder-length hair and the word “Keyly” tattooed on her back.

UPDATE I: Amber Alert Cancelled, Girls Said to Be in Another State.

An Amber Alert for two little girls has been cancelled and the girls are said to be safe, even though they’re not back home.

Pickens County deputies and State Law Enforcement Division agents cancelled the alert for one-year-old Kynadi Leigh Grace Manley and two year old Alexis London Marie Manley.

They say they are in another state.

The decision to cancel the alert came after officers say the girls’ aunt made up the story of them being kidnapped.

UPDATE II: Missing Pickens County toddlers found safely in Ohio.

Two young Easley girls today have been found who were the subject of an Amber Alert yesterday that was canceled after police say their aunt falsely claimed they had been abducted.

Kynadi Leigh Grace Manley, 1, and Alexis London Marie Manley, 2, were found safe this afternoon with their mother and grandmother in Ohio, according to Pickens County Sheriff’s Office release.

In a recent Gallup/USA Today poll, 80% of Americans think that America “has a unique character that makes it the greatest country in the world.” However, more than one third say President Obama does not share that belief of “American exceptionalism”. Only 58% believed that Obama shared the “exceptionalism” belief as compared to past Presidents like Reagan, Clinton and GWB at 86%, 77% and 74%, respectively.

On the whole, Americans, by 58% to 37%, believe Obama thinks the U.S. is exceptional, consistent with what he and his advisers maintain. But Americans are less likely to believe Obama holds this view than they are to think the same about Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

When the electorate do not trust that Obama believes in exceptionalism, Obama has a serious problem

Americans who identify as Republicans, likely reflecting the opinions of some of their party’s leaders, are especially dubious that Obama regards the U.S. as exceptional. Thirty-four percent of Republicans believe the president thinks the United States is the greatest country in the world, while 61% believe he does not. Democrats are much more confident that Obama regards the United States as exceptional, while the majority of independents agree.

Is Rudy Giuliani a 2012 Dark Horse … In a Word, NO

The Hill poses the question … is Rudy Giuliani, America’s Mayor, is he a dark horse in 2012 for a presidential run. In a word, no, not a chance. The political wave that is going on in the country has nothing to do with moderates.

As a 2008 primary front-runner, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani tanked. But as a 2012 dark horse, he could do surprisingly well.

It’s not because Giuliani has shifted; it’s because the Republican Party has. The 2010 election was less about social conservatism than it was fiscal conservatism, and that aligns with Giuliani’s socially moderate and fiscally conservative ideology.

There is another promising wind of change blowing Giuliani’s way, one that’s less ideological. This isn’t the era of kinder, gentler politicians. This is the age of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — three politicians whose appeal lives, partly, in their aggressive rhetoric.

The 2010 midterm elections had nothing to do with electing moderates on the Republican side. It had everything to do with ridding itself of RINO’s in states and districts that were more conservative. Following the 2010 elections, gone are many so-called “blue dog” democrats, gone are many moderate democrats from swing states and districts and in are Tea Party Republicans and more fiscally conservative Republicans. The same thing will come to fruition in 2012.

I am a Giuliani fan; however, in this point and time for the GOP, Rudy is not the answer. Giuliani would have had a better chance to seek the GOP presidental nomination in 2008; however, he never really showed up to the game.  If Rudy Giuliani wanted to more make a name and a difference to pad his political resume, he would run for US Senate in New York in 2012 against a more than vulnerable  Kirsten Gillibrand (D – NY).

The GOP stable of candidates will be vast and  numerous. With potential individuals like Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana, Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana, Sen. John Thune of SD, let alone the big names like Gingrich, Palin and Romney, it is hard to believe a RINO will prevail. When it all shakes out, it is highly doubtful that Rudy will be there when the smoke clears.

The Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper Had No Idea there Were 12 Terrorist Arrests in the UK

THE WTF MOMENT OF THE WEEK … Just yet another reason why the Obama administration needs to be voted out of office in 2012. Obama’s Director of National Intelligence (oxymoron) James Clapper had no idea that 12 terrorists had been arrested in the UK. Unbelievable.

In an ABC interview with National Director of Intelligence, Chief Counter Intelligence advisor John Brennan and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano … the gang that could not shoot straight, once again showed they couldn’t. Brennan tries to peddle the notion that it was not luck that the Christmas Day bomber and Time Square bomber were not able to accomplish their mission. Even Diane Sawyer had to question Brennan’s spin and question the fact that if course it was luck that prevented these terrorist from accomplishing their mission.

Then came the unthinkable. At the 3:40 mark of the VIDEO, James Clapper was asked a question regarding the terrorism news out of the United Kingdom and the arrest of 12 terrorist that morning. Clapper had no idea what she was asking. You would have thought that Diane Sawyer asked him the mysteries of the universe.  The ABC interview took place in the afternoon, the terrorism arrests occurred in the morning. Clapper responded with dead silence and a look of, oh please get me out of here. Unreal, the Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper had no idea what had taken place in London.

These people are frightening. Obama’s terror folks have created an outreach program. How nice. They have people fighting against terrorism and taking on global warming, but the Intelligence director had no idea that there were 12 terrorist arrests. Could you imagine how the MSM would have covered this if GWB was still in office. Hell, the MSM holds Sarah Palin to a greater standard that they do the very people who are supposed to be protecting us.

UPDATE I: After Initial Administration Denials, Director of National Intelligence Admits He Hadn’t Been Briefed on Alleged Terrorist Arrests in London.

Great, after an initial denial and providing the lame excuse that Diane Sawyer’s question regarding the arrest of 12 terror suspects in London was too ambiguous, the Obama administration acknowledged that Clapper had not been briefed. So not only is this administration inept, they are liars as well.

After initially suggesting that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s inability to answer a question from ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer about the arrests of 12 suspected terrorists in London was because her question was too “ambiguous,” the Obama administration acknowledged Wednesday morning that retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Clapper had not been briefed about the arrests at the time of the interview.

“Director Clapper had not yet been briefed on the arrests in the United Kingdom at the time of this interview taping,” said ODNI spokeswoman Jamie Smith in a statement.

SIMPLY THE BEST … The University of Connecticut Lady Huskies continue upon perfections … 89 straight and counting. The Lady Huskies have gone where no division 1 NCAA team has gone before, men or woman.

UCONN Ladies, one “Moore” that UCLA …

Men’s or woman’s basketball, it make no difference. The lady Huskies have been the most dominant team in the land for quite some time. The UCONN Lady Huskies, the 2 time, undefeated NCAA Woman’s basketball National Champions have broke the unbreakable record of the legendary UCLA’s John Wooden teams. 89 consecutive victory by UCONN, unbelievable.  Once again the Huskies made it look easy as all every thing Maya Moore was a one man woman wrecking crew. Moore had 41 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The woman Huskies defeated Florida State 93 – 62. They lead 54 – 27 at the half and never looked back. Congrats to the UCONN Huskies!!!

Many do not even know that the record was about to be broke as it was happening in the woman’s basketball game and not the men’s. Along the 89 game streak they have beat 31 ranked woman opponents. It is hard to imagine that night after night, a team could show up to the best of their ability. Even the best have an off night. Not these girls.

 Honestly, I have been a UCONN lady’s  basketball fan dating back to 1992 and the Jen Rizzoti  - Rebecca Lobo days. Jen was a scrappy, spitfire known for her knee pads and diving on the floor. She represented all what UCONN Ladies bascketball would become.  Oh yea, and she just happened to be all everything in 95-96 wining the  Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the  Associated Press player of the year. The mantel would be transferred to all everything Diana Taurasi and presently the best player in the land Maya Moore.

If you actually want to see how basketball was intended to be played where everything is not a dunk, check out the woman’s game. They stay four years, get a degree, some go pro to the WNBA, but most go on with life.  The woman’s game is basketball in it’s purest form and to see one team, the UCONN Huskies under the coaching of Gino Auriemma win 89 in a row is a feat at any level of sports.

US Buffets and Salad Bars ‘Threatened with Poison Attacks’ by Al Qaeda

Al Qaeda terrorists plotting to poison salad bars and buffets at hotels and restaurants. Does this mean that a TSA like organization is going to be patting us down at the local buffet? Remember when the greatest fear at the salad bar was whether it had a proper sneeze/cough guard? Thanks to radical Islam, its all changed.

So will Obama pat down little old ladies at the salad bar and not profile radical Muslims?

Al Qaeda terrorists are plotting to put deadly poison in the salad bars and buffets of hotels and restaurants, according to U.S. intelligence sources.

They would hide either ricin or cyanide in the food at a number of locations during one weekend to cause panic.

Those who ate the poisoned meals would fall ill and die within days. It takes only tiny quantities of either ricin or cyanide to kill.

Sources at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, who issued the warning, indicated that the targets were most likely to be in America.

Security staff in the hospitality industry at unnamed locations have been put on alert over what is being called a ‘credible’ threat.

Lindsay Lohan in Trouble Again, Suspect in Criminal Battery Case at the Betty Ford Clinic

Lindsay Lohan cannot seem to keep herself out of trouble. This time she is a suspect in a battery case while she was at the Betty Ford Clinic. Are you serious? She can’t even behave herself while in rehab! It is reported that ”the victim desired prosecution.” When will this girl ever learn?

Lindsay Lohan is a suspect in a criminal battery investigation and the alleged victim — a staff member at Betty Ford — wants Lindsay prosecuted … this according to law enforcement sources.

The Palm Desert Police Department is now investigating an altercation that occurred after Lindsay and her roommates reportedly went to a bar and came back home.  Upon arriving at the house, the incident with a female staffer from Betty Ford allegedly went down.

The police received a call at 1:03 AM on December 12 for “hand-to-hand battery.”

From Newsday comes the following:

There, as the site claimed Lohan told friends afterward, a female staff member “unfairly” scolded her, demanded she take a drug/alcohol test and, during a heated exchanged, put her hands on the starlet. Lohan, said TMZ, told the woman “Take your hands off of me” and then “pushed back.”

Just a couple of weeks from completing her court appointed rehab,Lohan now finds herself being investigated by police after allegedly assaulting a female employee at the clinic. So how will this affect the terms of Lohan’s DUI probation?

I guess this would defeat the purpose of being in rehab.

An employee of the clinic went public Tuesday with claims the actress was “out of control” and had alcohol on her breath during a tussle between them on Dec. 12.
