Laws (and no Cheeseburgers) for Thee, Not for Me … Michelle Obama Violates Illinois Campaign Law by Having Political Discussion at a Polling Place

Marie Antoinette, Michelle Obama was at it again … laws are for thee, not for me … let the voters eat cake.

Can these people get anything right? I mean seriously, how can something so simple as voting be made a chore? Is it any wonder why they can’t get the big issue right?

First Lady Michelle Obama was caught breaking Illinois campaign election law by  But, there is always an excuse for these these people. Since when is ignorance a defence? You mean to tell “We the People” that after the MSM and the LEFT have told us that they are just so smart and intelligent that they did not know that you were not supposed to engage in political speak near a polling stating. Are you joking? Who knew that Michelle Obama just fell off the turnip truck?

“You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?” the official explained late Thursday. “I mean, she’s pretty well liked and probably doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

Does any one really think that the Chicago board of elections is really going to look into this as to whether campaign laws were broken by First Lady Michele Obama? Plueze!

First lady Michelle Obama appears to have violated Illinois law — when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!

The drama began after Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.

After finishing at the machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.

She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.

“She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband’s agenda going,” Campbell said.

According to a pool reporter from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES at the scene, the conversation took place INSIDE the voting center, not far from the booths.

Illinois state law — Sec. 17-29 (a)– states: “No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place [or] within 100 feet of any polling place.”

In an unrelated story, the Gateway Pundit tells us that in the same day she also “snarfed” down a cheeseburger.I thought Michele Obama said that we were not allowed to eat fast food? I guess she meant us and not her. The hypocrisy astounds.

 When WH Press Sedcreatry was asked of the event, he did like he always does when the Administration is caught red handed doing something wrong, he just laughed it off. Let’s see if the  Obama WH is laughing on November 3, 2010.

Whoopi Goldberg & Joy Behar Walk Off The “LIBERAL” View After Bill O’Reilly States Facts

Can we please change the name of “The View” to “If you Do Not Agree with Our One Liberal View, We Will Take out Toys and Go Home Like Little Children”.

All hell broke loose on The View as the intolerant liberals on the show, Goldberg and Behar, stormed off the set in an unprofessional and childish manner. This is what liberals have come to, they cannot debate, they cannot rationally discuss and they cannot conduct themselves in a professional manner or accept the truth.

During the “Liberal” View, a heated discussion took place between Bill “Pin Heads & Patriots” O’Reilly, Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar. The two liberal women from the outset were not happy that O’Reilly was on the show and they showed their typical intolerant liberal ways by storming off the set when provided with the facts that an overwhelming majority of Americans do not want the mosque built near Ground Zero, Muslims did kill 3000 people on 9-11 and that President Barack Hussein Oabma is completely out of touch with the American people.

Joy Behar could not accept the fact that there is polling that states that 70% of Americans do not want the mosque built near GroundZero. Behar whined, I have never seen that poll, I wanna see that poll.  Here you go Joy, direct from CBS comes the following where 71% say  building a mosque near Ground Zero is inappropriate.

Also, a CNN/Opinion Research survey showed that 68% oppose the plan to build the mosque, compared to 29% who favor it. An ABC-Washington Post poll said 2/3 of Americans are against the mosque being built near ground Zero. What poll does not have Americans in a super majority against the mosque? Bill O’Reilly made the point that most all Americans do say they have a right to built it, but the questions is should it be as it is highly inappropriate and offensive to the family and loved ones who died on September 11, 2001.

Whoopie went ballistic because O’Reilly said Muslims and not “extremist” Muslims. Gee Whoopie, do you get upset with Barack Obama was well who does not call the terrorist “radical Islam” but instead a “sorry band of men”?

After Whoopi and Joy walked off the set, Barbara Walters ripped them a new one.

You have just seen what should not happen. We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking off stage. I love my colleagues, but this should not have happened.

Behar and Goldberg would later come back with their tails between their legs and apologize as they must have received a tongue lashing back stage for their unprofessionalism. 

What are these folks going to do on November 3, 2010 when they are stripped of all their power, the American people have spoke
and they are on the wrong side of “We the People”.

Charles Krauthammer on Fox News: “It’s Not Surprising Obama Doesn’t Know What a Shovel Ready Project Is. He’s Never Worked in the Private Sector”

Obama, you may not know what “shovel ready” is, but you are about to learn what a broom is as Democrats are swept out of office and power in 2010.

A year and a half and a  one trillion dollars later and … oops! Obama says my bad in not knowing that there was no such thing as “shovel ready” jobs. Why is this shocking to any one who stated that this rank amateur, never accomplished anything, barely in the US Senate Democrat President candidate in 2008 who would be elected President has no concept of anything and was in over his head.

As the Gateway Pundit states, Charles Krauthammer was “shovel ready” this evening. Yes he was indeed.

The only thing that has been “shovel ready” in the last 20 months has been the lies, distortions and BS out of Obama’s mouth to WE THE PEOPLE. Just curious President Obama, was Obamacare, Cap & Trade, record deficit spending, illegal immigration and oops too?

“Well that is quite an admission. You know, a year and a half and half a trillion dollars later he says these things that I talked about endlessly don’t exist. It’s not actually surprising that he doesn’t know what a shovel ready project is. Having never worked in the private sector he wouldn’t be sure what a project is and there isn’t a lot of shoveling at Harvard Law School.” So I can understand that this was one of the greatest “Oops” in American history. And it’s going to be hard for a democrat when you show one tape against another. They’re going to say, “So you supported a trillion dollars offered by a president who didn’t even know that this stuff that this stuff is not going to happen?”

One would have to wonder why Barack Obama has come out with this “I screwed up” interview prior to the 2010 midterm elections and just threw the Democrat party under the bus. Obama states that he made an “oops” and all the Democrats followed him hook, line and sinker. Obama talks about not giving the keys back to Republicans, yet he just drove the economy and national debt over tjhe cliff. Of course the GOP will capitalize on this … look for Obama’s own quotes used in a political ad near you.

Remember when then candidate Joe Biden was asked whether Obama was ready to be President? Biden said that Obama was not ready for the job and the Presidency is not one that lends itself to on the job training. Biden’s reply, “I stand by that statement”. Looks like Joe was 100% correct.

There is a reason why the American people are so angry and are going to vote Democrats out in droves in 2010. These lemmings blindly followed their clueless, novice leader and went against the will of the people who knew better.

Christine O’Donnell (R) Hammers the Bearded Marxist Coons (D) … “I Would Argue That More People Would Support My Catholic Faith Than His Marxist Beliefs”

During last nights Delaware US Senate debate, Republican candidate Christine O’Donnell nailed the self proclaimed “bearded Marxist,” Democrat Chris Coons.

“I would argue that more people would support my Catholic beliefs than his Marxist beliefs.”

Chris Coons tried to pass off the “bearded Marxist” reference as a joke. Really, it was a joke, does not seem to be? O’Donnell in turn during the debate called Coons a Marxist. Well if the shoe fits candidate Coons. What a shock, another Democrat running against what they really believe and stand for as the liberal MSM allows them to without question. Coons called himself a capitalist during the debate. We might want to have him define the word.

A feisty, aggressive Ms. O’Donnell called Mr. Coons a Marxist whose beliefs came from a socialist professor and said he would “rubber stamp” the policies of the Democrats in Washington. Mr. Coons raised questions about whether Ms. O’Donnell’s faith would drive her positions on social issues like abortion, prayer and evolution.

Pressed by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, Ms. O’Donnell refused to say whether she believed evolution was a myth, saying that “what I believe is irrelevant.” As she did throughout the first half of the debate, Ms. O’Donnell quickly tried to return the focus to Mr. Coons, saying, “I would argue there are more people who support my Catholic faith than his Marxist belief.”

If you watched the debate you could clearly see the media bias and that the moderators were in the tank for the Marxist Coons. One of the best comments of the evening was when O’Donnell showed the MSM bias and double standard when she stated that her comments made in the past on a comedy show, yet Coon’s comments of studying under a Marxist made him become a DDemocrat. So Coons’ comments are a joke, yet what a candidate said on a comedy show is not the same? Hmm?

 What a sad commentary, as O’Donnell trails in the polls,  that Delaware would vote into the US Senate an Obama rubber stamp and a lap dog for Harry Reid. Then again, you get exactly what you vote for. Too bad that Harry Reid will not be there after the midterm election.

Unemployment Applications Rise by 13,000 as Jobless Benefits Increase to 462K

Welcome to the President Barack Hussein Obama job recovery of 2010. First time claims for unemployment aid rose by 13,000 to a seasonally adjusted 462,000. But wait, the Obama economy gets even worse … September home foreclosures top 100,000 for first time. According to RealtyTrac, banks foreclosed on 102,134 properties in September, the first single month above the century mark. I supposed this is George W. Bush’s fault?

Will this also by an Obama “Oops” as he did not realize that his disastrous economic policies of wasted stimulus money and no “shovel ready” jobs would cause sustained unemployment, further job loss and people to lose their homes?

The Military Can Fight & Die for Their Country, But Not Get Their Votes Counted in Illinois

Stealing Elections …

How convenient that this occur from the “deep blue,” Democrat controlled state of Illinois. The prevention of counting military votes has to be one of the most heinous, treachours and disgusting act by Democrats in the 2010 elections.

According to reports, the Department of Justice is investigating whether the Democrat  Illinois Secretary of State did not send thousands of absentee ballots out to members of our brave men and woman of the military serving overseas. The very people who risk their lives, fight and die so that the United States remains free and has elections will not have their votes counted. UNREAL. The DOJ is on it; however, the Obama-Holder DOJ has such a great track record of dealing with election issues like when they just dropped the voter intimidation case against the NBBP.

The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether the state of Illinois missed the deadline for mailing absentee ballots to members of the military and other overseas American voters as part of a new federal overseas voting law.

Cris Cray, Director of Legislation at the Illinois State Board of Elections, says not all of Illinois’ 110 jurisdictions were compliant with the 2009 Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (MOVE).

The law requires every state to mail their absentee ballots 45 days prior to Election Day to overseas troops, government employees and other Americans who want to vote from abroad.

As stated at Right Wing News, with close races for US Senate and Governor in Illinois, is it any wonder why Democrats do not want the military vote counted. Might I add a vote that predominantly goes for Republicans. If there was ever a segment of the population that should have ensured that their votes are counted, it is the very people who defend the United States of America.

Barack Obama was just in Illinois shilling for the Democrats, how come he has not come out and spoke on this issue? He is the Commander in Chief, is he not? Where is his outrage that the brave men and woman of our military will be disenfranchised?

Where is your outrage America?

No President Obama … You Will Be More Cooperative after the 2010 Midterm Elections after the GOP Landslide, Not Republicans

If Obama thinks that Republicans will be more cooperative to his agenda, The One will be One and Done in a Landslide!

Democrats did it the old fashioned way … they earned the upcoming 2010 midterm election results.

A note to Barack Hussein Obama, following the upcoming 2010 midterm election tsunami, avalanche, Democrat political carnage, it is not the GOP that is going to be more cooperative … IT WILL BE YOU WHO IS. If not, your 2012 reelection bid will look much like the 1980 failed Presidential Election of one term Democrat President, Jimmy Carter.

There is a reason why you are going to be made to look bad in the 2010 midterm elections, because your policies are an abject failure and your liberal-socialist agenda is not wanted by a majority of the American people. You have squandered any promises you made of “Hope & Change” under the false pretence of working togther in a bi-partisan manner and reaching across the aisle to Republicans. At this point, even Democrats cannot run away from Obama fast enough.

President Obama said that he is expecting Republicans to offer him more cooperation after November’s elections, no matter the outcome.

In an hour-long interview with Times White House correspondent Peter Baker, Mr. Obama predicted that his political rivals will either be chastened by falling short of their electoral goals or burdened with the new responsibility that comes from achieving them.

“It may be that regardless of what happens after this election, they feel more responsible, either because they didn’t do as well as they anticipated, and so the strategy of just saying no to everything and sitting on the sidelines and throwing bombs didn’t work for them,” Mr. Obama said. “Or they did reasonably well, in which case the American people are going to be looking to them to offer serious proposals and work with me in a serious way.”

The GOP is not the party of “NO”, they are the party that was actually listening to the American people who were saying “HELL NO”to the policies of Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Democrats. You are going to be working with them Mr. President as your way has been nothing but an abysmal failure. On most every important topic of the day, Barack Obama and democrats are on the wrong side and against the will of the people. Whether its the economy, health care, illegal immigration, trials of terrorist, etc. Speaking of the economy and wasteful stimulus that has failed.

Barack Obama goes back on his words of why the $787 billion stimulus was needed ASAP for those “shovel ready” jobs. Now Obama says there is no such thing as a shovel ready job. So is he a liar or a rank amateur novice? Either one makes him never fit to be President.

In the magazine article, Mr. Obama reflects on his presidency, admitting that he let himself look too much like “the same old tax-and-spend Democrat,” realized too late that “there’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects” and perhaps should have “let the Republicans insist on the tax cuts” in the stimulus.

The American voters are so outraged by the policies and conduct of Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the Democrats who thought they could pass any sort of legislation down the throats of an unwilling WE THE PEOPLE, that there will be a reckoning on November 2.

In political races across the United States, Democrats are down in the polls and in many cases states and districts that had always been considered a Democrat stronghold. Not any more. So much to the point that Democrats are pretending that they are not members of the Donkey party. They act like they have never heard of Pelosi, Reid or Obama. In most cases, to watch their political ads, one could not even tell that they were a Democrat. Which might be the reason why the DNCC are cutting some ads of candidates who do not support the Donkey power structure. Exactly what did “beholden” Democrats think would happen? Was stated at Weasel Zippers, the wrath of the Wicked Witch of the West can be a bitch. Suddenly, Pelosi is considered too extreme for Democrats. However, the people know better and America has awoke. Where were these same people for the past two years when they went along with Pelosi and passed unpopular legislation through the House? The politicians now realize WE THE PEOPLE do not forget and the Democrat leopards are trying to change their spots.

State Sen. Roy Herron (D), who’s running for the opening seat held by retiring Rep. John Tanner (D) in Tennessee’s 8th congressional district, suggested the DCCC’s decision to cancel ad buys in the race was tied to his refusal to back Pelosi.

Can it get any worse for Democrats as The Hill reports, Republicans are up in 8 of 10 open House districts. Yet another poll that has Democrats reeling.

Republicans are winning eight out of 10 competitive open House seats surveyed in a groundbreaking new poll by The Hill.

Taken on top of 11 GOP leads out of 12 freshman Democratic districts polled last week, The Hill 2010 Midterm Election Poll points toward 19 Republican victories out of 22 races, while Democrats win only two and one is tied.

Republican candidates have taken big leads in two districts Democrats have held for nearly a century and a half-century, respectively, according to The Hill’s survey. A Republican is also ahead in the heavily Democratic district that contains President Obama’s hometown of  Honolulu.
