Daily Commentary – Monday, October 18th, 2010 – Bill Maher, Barbara Billingsley [1:27m]: | DownloadDemocrat US Senate Trouble … Even the WAPO Has a GOP Pathway to 10 Seat Pick Up and Control
How bad is it for Democrat these days … even the Washington Post has a pathway to 10 US Senate pickups for Republicans and the regaining of control of the Senate. The House seems to be a forgone conclusion as a Democrat loss, the MSM looks to the Senate. With the poor handling of the economy and a liberal agenda from the Obama White House and their complicit minions in the House and the Senate … even liberal media has to report the possible Senate takeover two weeks before the election to save credibility.
Although most experts and political pundits think that it is a tall order in 2010, The WAPO has developed a path of 10 GOP Senate pick-ups in the 2010 midterm elections that could mean that the Republican party to be in control of the US Senate once again. Difficult as it may be, the GOP would have to pick up 10 seats presently held by Democrats while also defending all of the seats that they presently hold.
Here is the WAPO’s path to a potential GOP victory as they lay out their plan in a 4 tier process:
The first tier: Democratic-held seats in North Dakota, Indiana and Arkansas are near-certain Republican pickups. Democrats aren’t even seriously contesting the open Senate seat in North Dakota, of which Gov. John Hoeven (R) is the de facto winner. … So that’s plus three for Republicans.
The second tier: [In Wisconsin]Sen. Russell Feingold (D-Wis.) is in deep trouble in his reelection bid against wealthy businessman Ron Johnson. … In Pennsylvania,Democrats insist they are on the comeback trail – and recent polling shows the race tightening somewhat – but former congressman Pat Toomey (R) had opened up a steady edge over Rep. Joe Sestak (D). Give Republicans both seats and they are halfway to the majority: plus five.
Senator Cornyn (TX-R) Picks Linda McMahon as Upset Special While Liberal Senator Claire McCaskill (MO-D) Picks Conway in KY and Carnahan in MO
This morning on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Senators Jim Cornyn (TX-R) and Claire McCaskill (MO-D) were asked what is there upset special in the upcoming US senate races in the 2010 elections. There answers were as follows.
Claire McCaskill’s pie in the sky choices were Democrats Robin Carnahan in Missouri and Jack Conway in Kentucky to pull upsets. Currently Carnahan trails Republican Roy Blunt 51% to 43%. All signs point to a GOP win in the “Show Me” state as it would take a miracle for a Carnahan victory. McCaskill’s other predicted upset was in the Kentucky race where she stated that Democrat Jack Conway would defeat Republican and Tea Party favorite Rand Paul. Presently Paul is way out ahead of his democrat challenger 49% to 38%in what is considered a solid GOP win. Some one should have told Claire McCaskill that an upset special is supposed to have some sort of reasoning, not just wishful thinking. How lame could McCaskill be withe her “extreme” Democrat talking points. Her comments sound completely contrived.
Senator Jim Cornyn’s upset special was actually more along what was intended and with some of the prevailing polling trending, just might just come to fruition. Corynn predicted that Linda McMahon would defeat Democrat Richard Blumenthal in the Connecticut US Senate race. Presently Blumenthall is up by only a 5% margin at 51% to 46%; however, that is down from a double digit lead from their first debate.
I would have to say to the voters in The Nutmeg state of Connecticut, I am not sure how you can vote for a candidate like Richard Blumenthal who cannot tell the truth on his military service in Vietnam and calls it misspeak. Also, in this economic environment, how do you vote for some one who has no idea how to create a job?
Listen to this idiotic answer from Democrat Blumenthal on how to create a job

Bizarre: US House Rep Barney Frank’s (MA-D) Significant Other Heckles Republican Challenger Sean Bielat Outside Debate
Is this how Democrats campaign who have never faced challenges in years?
Barney Frank has his boyfriend James ready at the ready to heckle his opponent. UNREAL. Can anyone imagine what the LEFT and the MSM would be saying if a Republican candidates wife was heckling her husband’s Democrat opponent? So much for the fairness doctrine from the LEFT.
Barney Frank at the ready with boyfriend James Ready …
How desperate and concerned has Massachusetts Democrat US Congressman Barny Frank (MA04-MA) become with his reelection in 2010 … he has his significant other heckle Republican challenger Sean Bielat outside of a debate. Frank’s, a career politician claims to be safe in the polls; however, having your boyfriend pick a fight prior to a debate seems rather suspect. Also, Barney Franks has whined incessantly that right wing factions, talk radio and Fox news has targeted him.
At Michelle Malkin.com they compare Frank’s boyfriends actions to the foundering golfer (Shooter McGavin) who hired a guy to yell “jackass!” during Happy Gilmore’s backswing.
Barney Frank’s boyfriend heckles Republican candidate Sean Bielat
Upon exiting the most recent debate with Barney Frank, located at WGBH studios in Boston, MA, Republican Congressional candidate, Sean Bielat, gets heckled by a Barney Frank “supporter” while talking to the media. While watching this video, we realized that we recognized this “supporter”. We received confirmation from two eyewitnesses that the mysterious cameraman was none other than Barney Frank’s pot-growing boyfriend, James Ready.
Career politicians like Barny Frank are exactly what is wrong with Washington, DC. Check out the VIDEO of the up to his eyebrows in Fannie and Freddie Mac Barney Franks. The Gay Patriot calls this action, just more liberal hipocrisy.

Obama Supporters Abandoning The One & Democrats in Mass in 2010 Midterm Elections
Just how many individuals who voted for Obama in 2008 will be taking the 2010 election off or have changed their mind and will vote for the GOP?
Barack Obama, it’s a different kind of hope & change, one that a majority of Americans actually want, not a promised one with a LEFT leaning agenda. According to all accounts, the 2008 voting coalition that propelled Barack Obama into the White House has crumbled.
President Barack Obama’s winning coalition from 2008 has crumbled and his core backers are dispirited. It’s now Republicans who stand to benefit from an electorate that’s again craving change.
Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama’s first midterm elections.

Bill Maher Trashes White Men, Sarah Palin & the Rest of the Usual Suspect in Sexist Rant … What About Tiger Woods, Bill?
Why liberals like Bill Maher just do not get humor. Is sexist humor, really humor?
For one, they can never find humor in laughing at themselves. When one does that it is looked upon as a personal affront to them. Two, humor has to have to reality based fact to it. The beginning of Maher’s jokes, although sophomoric, were funny because NFL QB Brett Favre has been caught up in a sex “sexting” scandal and Maher used as many football metaphors as possible for a laugh. However, once Maher made it about a race of people and conservative women who he hates … his comments became sexist. Three, humor is not supposed to be mean.
Bill Maher does it again … takes any issue and makes it all about white men, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and Christine O’Donnell (warning: offensive language below and in video). But liberals are not mean spirited are they?
From there, the so-called comedian went into a vulgar, six minute monologue bashing Palin – who he called a “MILF” as well as a “traditional idiot housewife” – white men, and all things conservative
A question to the clueless and hateful partisan Leftist loon Bill Maher who turned what was a joke about one individuals and one person’s wrongful and stupid actions into a commentary all “white” men. So the conclusion you derived from the Bret Favre – Jenn Sterger sexting incident is “white men” are pathetic? Hmm … I guess the enlightened one Bill Maher missed the Tiger Woods sex scandal story and all his mistresses who were texted and voice mails sent.
Is Tiger Woods a “pathetic” white man?
“To me this story really isn’t about sports or sex or how necessary caller ID is. It’s about how pathetic and clueless white American males have become because the kind of guy who thinks there are women out there who just cold want to see your cock is the same kind of guy who thinks Sarah Palin is swell and tax cuts pay for themselves …”
Bill Maher, you are so cutting edge and advant guard in your humor and insults. Imagine America if he used one incident, say like from Tiger Woods and made a blanket statement about all black men? How about a bigoted blanket statement against Hispanics, Asians, Gays, etc?
Video: Warning, adult comments and questionable language
Transcript from NewsBusters:
… Because for hundreds of years, white penises were America. White penises found America. They made the rules and they called the shots, in the workplace, in the home and at the ballot box. But now the unthinkable is happening. White penises are becoming the minority. 2010 was the first year in which more minority babies were born than white babies. This is what conservatives are really upset about. That the president is black, and the Secretary of State is a woman, and every shortstop is Latino, and every daytime talk show host is a lesbian.
Hmm, was there not a black women Condi Rice as Sec of State under GWB, the first African-American woman Secretary of State? That would seem to trump Maher’s female reference to Hillary Clinton, would it not? I guess Maher missed Elaine Chao, the first Asian Pacific American woman and first Chinese American to be appointed to a President’s cabinet in American history.
And suddenly this country is way off track and needs some serious restoring. If penises could cry, and I believe they can, then white penises are crying all over America. And that’s where this crew comes in. The lovely MILFs of the new rank. And their little secret is that their popularity comes exclusively from white men. Look at the polling. Minorities hate them. Women hate them. Only white men like them. I’m no psychiatrist but I do own a couch. And my theory is that these women represent something those men miss dearly: the traditional idiot housewife.
Sarah Palin only found favorable by “white” men, really? Sorry to provide Bill Maher and his know nothing follwres with the facts, but according to a CBS poll … Bill Maher lies.
Maher also made the reference that white men were upset because Favre was replaced by a Mexican. The reference was with when Favre retired for the 20th time, this time from the NY Jet’s that Mark Sanchez took over is QB. Maher, not knowing what he is talking about has obviously forgot that it is not just “white” men that sext, some QB’s … Mark Sanchez are accused of sexual assault in college.
Where is NOW in all of this that a “white” man would make such comments about woman? That’s right, it’s Ok according to The National Organization of Women to call women whore’s, MILF’s and other derogatory and sexist comments if they are Conservative or Republican.
In the end we see really where Bill Maher and the rest of the idiot LEFT is with their hatred of women like Palin, Bachmann and O’Donnell … they look at them like they are “idiot” housewives. Could the LEFT be more out of touch with America?
How nice that the LEFT can find humor in sexual harassment.

Democrats in Big Trouble … Rasmussen Predicting Republicans 55 Seat Pick Up in Races for the US House
RUT-ROH … 16 days before the 2010 midterm elections and Rasmussen predicting huge wins for the GOP.
The question as to whether Republicans will pick up the necessary 39 House seats to regain control of the US House of Representatives seem to be a forgone conclusion by many pollsters and pundits. The question more is, who can be the most precise and nail the exact number. Scott Rasmussen is on record as saying that the GOP will pick up 55 seats in this years 2010 midterm election … can you say Mr. Speaker John Boehner.
With all due respect to the Obama Kool-Aid drinking spinmeisters who claim the Democrats will regain the House in 2010, Republicans will have the majority by the time the voting counts hit the Mississippi River. Obama, Biden, Gibbs, et all can talk their rosy game, the fact of the matter is … all polls do not lie. The past two years should have all been about the economy, the economy, the economy, but instead Obama, Pelosi and Reid have made it about their liberal agenda. There will be hell to pay on November 2, 2010.
Nationally-recognized pollster Scott Rasmussen last night predicted that Republicans would gain 55 seats in races for the U.S. House of Representatives November 2—much more than the 39 needed for a Republican majority in the House for the first time since 2006.
But the man whose Rasmussen Reports polling is watched carefully by politicians and frequently quoted by the punditocracy said that whether Republicans gain the ten seats they need to take control of the Senate is in question.
“Republicans should have 48 seats [after the elections next month], Democrats 47, and five seats could slide either way,” said Rasmussen in his banquet address at the Western Conservative Political Action Conference. He was referring to seats in five states in which the Senate race this year he considers too close to call: California, Illinois, Washington, West Virginia, and Nevada (or “that mudwrestling contest,” as Rasmussen described the race between Republican Sharron Angle and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid).
The once unheard of notion of picking up 10 seats in one US Senate election cycle might just now be a possibility. In Senate race after Senate race, Democrats find themselves in trouble and as the Gateway Pundit states, Democrats retreat to “Blue State” stong holds.
Check out the WSJ political map for House, Senate and Governor races that show just how bleak the situation is for Democrats.
Democratic strategists acknowledged they are abandoning a dozen House seats the party now holds, as they try to salvage their majority in the chamber by shoring up candidates with better chances.
With Republicans expanding their advertising to broaden the field of competitive races, Democrats are shifting resources to help such senior lawmakers as House Budget Committee Chairman John Spratt (D., S.C.), and to head off Republicans in usually safe Massachusetts, where a southeast district that includes Cape Cod is competitive for the first time in decades.
Is it any wonder why the American voters are about to toss the Democrats out of control in the House when there is a -50.4% approval rating for the Democrat controlled Congress. Real Clear Politics average polling also has Republicans ahead in the Generic Congressional ballot by 6.8%.
However, the House races could be even more bleak for Democrats as the Cook Political Report says 90+ seats are in play and most are Democrat. Also, Republicans House candidates are far ahead in fund raising and have much more to spend in the final weeks and days leading up to the election.
In the House, GOP candidates reported raising $104 million from July through September, compared with $89 million for Democrats, new disclosure records show. In the 18 top Senate races, Republicans brought in nearly $60 million; their Democratic opponents raised less than $40 million.

Barbara Billingsley of “Leave It To Beaver” Fames Passes Away at Age 94
Barbara Billingsley, the actress best known for her role as June Cleaver on ‘Leave It to Beaver’ passed away Saturday at the age of 94. She was America’s mom in the 1950′s and her acting carrer spanned decades and numerous diverse endeavors as seen by her role in ‘Airplane’ when she played the Jive Lady.
The actress won a new legion of fans in a brief, but memorable, scene in the 1980 send-up movie “Airplane.”
“Oh, stewardess. I speak jive,” Billingsley said in her role — much different from her June Cleaver persona — as an elderly passenger comforting an ill man on the flight. She, the sick man and his seat companion engaged in street-slang banter.
Sadly, the 50′s role model mom passed away on Saurday at her home following a long illness of rheumatoid disorder polymyalgia.
The actress passed away at 2 a.m. (5 a.m. ET) Saturday at her home in Santa Monica, California, after a long illness, spokeswoman Judy Twersky said. A private memorial is being planned.
Actor Jerry Mathers, who played Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver, called Billingsley a lifetime mentor.
“Barbara was a patient advisor and teacher. She helped me along this challenging journey through life by showing me the importance of manners, and respect for others,” Mathers said in a statement. “She will be missed by all of her family, friends, fans and most especially by me.”

We say goodbye to a classy woman, God Bless June Cleaver, rest in Peace.
Barack Obama Administration Announces Second Year of $1.3 Trillion Deficit
Welcome to Obamaville … Hey America, how’s that“hopey, changey” stuff working out for you?
Thank you Barack Hussein Obama and the Obama economy … Obama Administration announces second year of $1.3 trillion deficit. Add that to the 9.7% unemployment, record number of people on food stamps, housing foreclosures over 100,000. Is it any wonder why Obama’s Presidential polling index is starting to tank again and Democrats find themselves in dire straits of losing the House Senate and majority of Governors.
$1.3 trillion …bahahahahaha …
The Obama administration announced Friday it has exceeded the $1 trillion mark in the federal deficit — predicted by Congress’ research arm last week as $1.29 trillion — for the second straight year as it projects an even larger gap between revenues and spending for fiscal year 2011.
That means the government had to borrow 37 cents out of every dollar it spent as tax revenues continued to lag while spending on food stamps and unemployment benefits went up as the economy slowly pulled out of recession.
The eye-popping deficit figures provide Republican critics of President Obama’s fiscal stewardship with fresh ammunition less than three weeks ahead of the midterm congressional elections. The deficit was $122 billion less than last year, a modest improvement.
The Congressional Budget Office last week announced the deficit for the 2010 budget year that ended Sept. 30 was $1.29 trillion. That’s down by $125 billion from the $1.4 trillion in 2009 — the highest deficit on record. It attributed money recovered from the Troubled Asset Relief Program for the decrease.
But wait, the Obama Administration and Democrats finally have something they can run on, they have set a record … 2 years in a row of over a trillion dollar deficit (check out the graph that the MSM refuses to print). To get a historical sense of what the budgets used to look like, go to Heritage Foundation.
