Think the 2010 midterm elections are not starting to get to the Democrats and the impending tsunami …

We have often asked our self what planet Democrats are from as they obviously have no touch with reality or the American people. Who knew Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid thought he was from Krypton? Reid’s  continued defiance of the American people and the voters of Nevada, let alone some of his bizarre behavior make the following “Reidism” quite, well in a word … INSANE!

This is the delusion and lies the Democrat leadership lives by. In other words, by acting as Obama’s “pet” and lapdog by passing trillions of dollars of debt on the backs of Americans, that makes him defender of the universe? Hmm, and the Democrats attempt to say Sharron Angle is extreme huh? I wonder how saved the people of Nevada feel with their 14% unemployment and record home foreclosures?

I can see it now, Barack Obama and Harry Reid arguing with each other like 3 year old’s both claiming that they were responsible for saving the earth.

Ok, I didn’t save the world from depression, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night

Did you also know that Harry Reid was responsible for the following:

1. He invented the ”Post It” note.
2. He saved the earth from an asteroid by blowing it and himself up before it hit earth. Oops, that was Bruce Willis.
3. He invented the Internet, oh that was Al Gore.

UPDATE I: Who did Reid Save From What … Nevada hits 15% record Unemployment.

On top of the Las Vegas Valley’s new 15 percent high, statewide unemployment was 14.4 percent in September. Nearly 200,000 Nevadans lacked jobs in the month and were looking for work. Add in discouraged workers who’ve dropped out of the labor force and underemployed part-timers who want full-time jobs, and unemployment in the Silver State easily exceeds 20 percent, experts say.

Nevada remained No. 1 in the nation for unemployment in September, with California’s 12.4 percent joblessness coming in at No. 2. Just 11 states have double-digit joblessness; nationwide, unemployment was 9.6 percent in September.

61% of Independent Voters say Democrat Leadership More Left Wing Than They Are

Who is the party of extreme? With less than 2 weeks to go before the 2010 midterm elections … Democrats take another hit with a poll.

According to The Hill, 61% of independent voters in 10 battle ground states said that the Democrat party was more LEFTWING than they. After months of trying the brand the GOP as the party of NO and the tea Party as too extreme, independent voters in America think that it is the Democrats that are too extreme.

In another potentially troubling sign for Democratic candidates, three in five independent voters in key House districts say Congress’s Democratic leadership is to the left of them on the political spectrum.
 
The Hill 2010 Midterm Election Poll found that 61 percent of likely independent voters in 10 battleground House districts — a critical swing demographic — think the leadership under House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is more liberal than they are.

Only 16 percent of independents say Pelosi and Reid — both of whom have been vilified by Republicans on the campaign stump — hold political views similar to their own.

I guess, we are all not socialist now,contrary to the LEFT MSM. As stated as Weasel Zippers, who knew that socialism was so unpopular … um, WE THE PEOPLE knew.Isn’t it telling that polling is looking to blame Pelosi and Reid and not Barack Hussein Obama as being extreme? Pin Heads & Patriots: Tax Funded NPR Fires Juan Williams for Expressing his Freedom of Speech Regarding the Muslim Dilemma

NPR, National Public Radio, has fired Fox News contributor Juan Williams for comments that he made on Fox News regarding Muslims. Williams made his comments regarding Muslims on The O’Reilly Factor with Bill O’Reilly when discussing the “Muslim dilemma”. What did Williams say that was so inflammatory that it warranted his firing … nothing more than any common sense thinking individual does. However, in the world of liberal propaganda media, that cannot be tolerated.

So much for Freedom of Speech when it comes to the LEFT and the liberal MSM. How foolish do these “pinheads” look when the very tenants of liberalism and free thought are shown for what they really are? Do not agree with us or you will be fired! Liberals and the moonbat LEFT, hell the Obama White House has attacked Fox News … yet isn’t it telling that FOX NEWS allows differing opinion; however, the LEFT does not. So much for “Fair & Balanced”. Remember when the Obama WH tried to ban Fox News from pool reporters?

How bad, evil and insipid has the LEFT become when an individual like Juan Williams who has championed civil rights in America is shamelessly fired for providing an obvious opinion? I do not agree with most of the things that Juan Williams says and as a matter of fact most of the time I just shake my head; however, a differing opinion in the news id what is wanted and needed. I thought the LEFT stood for diversity, or at least they claim to … I guess not!

What about the fairness doctrine that the Liberals are so enamored with? First we have the crazy ladies of the view, Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Bahar, storm off the view in a hissy fit … now this. I wonder how Juan Williams feels about “political correctness” these days? By simply making a statement regarding how Americans felt about post 9-11 travel after 3000 individuals were murdered by flying planes into building … that is a firable offence. WAKE UP AMERICA!

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.

As Weasel Zippers states, so much for a diversity of opinion on American tax funded NPR. So much for “fair & balanced” from NPR, eh? Williams was fired from NPR because he did not toe the company, progressive, liberal line. The NPR statement said that William’s remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR”. WHAT? Did NPR just call themselves “bed wetting liberals” with a political agenda? Are not they supposed to be a tax funded news organization that is partially tax funded?

And yes American, you are paying for this programming.

Shovel Ready Obamacare: Barack Hussein Obama … HE LIED! Obama Said that Premium Costs Will Go Down 14% … They Did Not

America, how’s that Obamacare “hopey, changey” stuff working out for you? Welcome to “SHOVEL READY” Obamacare reduced premiums … they don’t exist either!!!

Remember when President Barack Hussein Obama tried to lecture Republicans and WE THE PEOPLE on Obamacare stating that the cost would go down 14%? When confronted with the truth, Obama’s response was … “that is just not factually accurate”. Guess what America, it is chose your new health care benefits time at work, just ahead of the 2010 midterm election and did you notice something about your health care benefits? They did not go down as Obama stated, in fact they increased.

As the Gateway Pundit reminds us of the following, “during the White House Summit on health care, Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, and President Obama argued that the Democratic health care bill would cause premiums to decrease.”

Guess who was telling the truth and it was not Barack Obama. According to CNN, employees’ share of premiums for a family plan is up an average 14%, to $3,997. So now we know that Obama stated that the $787 billion stimulus money was to go to “shovel ready” jobs when now he admist there was no such thing and your health care reduced premiums under Obamacare also appear to be shovel ready was well.

1 million to lose out on better coverage
It seems people are doing that, but not in the way experts recommend: Recent data suggest that many insured Americans are now forgoing care because of the cost. Rather than sacrificing your health, keep expenses.

It would appear that Nancy Pelosi was correct in that the only way to know what was in Obamacare was to pass it. We are learning that terrible and expensive lesson every day. Thank you Barack, Nancy, Harry and the rest of the Democrats … REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!

Arizona Senator John McCain Slaps Down his Rich, Entitled Daughter Meghan … She is Wrong on Christine O’Donnell

Wouldn’t you like to be a fly on the wall at Thanksgiving Day dinner at the McCain residence this year …

Arizona US Senator and former Republican Presidential candidate John McCain went on GMA and stated that he thought his daughter, Meghan McCain, was wrong about GOP Delaware US Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell. At some point John McCain is going to have to sit his “wet behind the ears” daughter and explain that the MSM is just using her.

Would anyone know or care who Meghan McCain was if it were not for who her daddy was? 

Meghan McCain got some buzz on Sunday by calling Christine O’Donnell a “nut job,” but on “GMA” today her dad didn’t take the bait.

“My daughter and I have very spirited conversations from time to time and it’s a lot of fun,” Sen. John McCain told me. “With all due respect to my daughter, the primary voters of Delaware chose Christine O’Donnell and she’s the candidate.”

Meghan McCain had previously made comments on ABC’s ‘This Week’that O’Donnell was making a mockery of the US Senate race and that Christine O’Donnell has no real history, no real success in any kind of business.” I guess America must have missed it where Meghan McCain had any real success either, other than being the spoiled, rich kid of RINO entitlement.

The irony astounds that Miss McCain would even be a guest on “This Week’ other than the fact of who her daddy is and because she is just so “Mavericky”. Just curious Meghan, among my group of friends we were wondering what your accomplishments are that would warrant you even being interviewed by ABC? Amazing comments from Miss McCain as her ignorant and foolish statement was more directed to primary voters than Christine O’Donnell. What is your issue with democracy in action?

John McCain later in the interview went on to say that Sarah Palin was correct in that if the GOP does not embrace the principles of what makes Republicans Republican … they will be through. Americans and namely the Tea Party folks are not making it possible for the GOP to regain power to act like Democrat light and RINO’s.

 McCain did, however, agree with his former running mate Sarah Palin’s assessment that the “GOP is through” if they don’t follow the Tea Party’s lead.

 ”I think she is right to this degree, that obviously when we gain the majority, when Republicans gain majorities, they betrayed our base typically in the area of fiscal responsibility,” he said.

Barack Obama, Lost in Smallness … Obama Takes His Comedy Act to Jon Stewart’s ‘The Daily Show’

How fitting that Obama goes to Comedy Central to appear on The Daily Show as he has been nothing more than a joke.

Less than two weeks before the 2010 midterm elections, Democrats in a free fall pre-election panic, an economy in the tank, unemployment near 10%, record number of individuals are on food stamps, record housing foreclosures, 14.8 million people out of work and record federal deficits so what does Barack Obama do … heads off to Jon Stewart’s ‘The Daily Show’ to tape an appearance to be aired on October 27.

President Barack Obama is taking his campaign message to “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart.

White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer says Obama is taping an appearance on Oct. 27, just days before the Nov. 2 elections. Stewart is coming to Washington next week for the “Rally to Restore Sanity” he is holding three days later on Saturday, Oct. 30, on the National Mall.

Could this President get any more “small”?  Could a President of the United States of America act in a manner that is more beneath the office?  A country in crisis and Obama is off to “yuk it up”and act all Presidential at Comedy Central. How fitting America from the Comic in Chief … the jokes on you.

Whoa Nellie … 99 Democrat Seats Now in Play, Can You Say Former Speaker Pelosi?

All signs point to a House Foreclosure for Speaker Nancy Pelosi …

As reported at the Politico, 99 democrat held seats are now in play in this years 2010 midterm election. So what happened to the Democrat spin that the House races were beginning to tighten? To the contrary as discussed at Wake Up America, the races are not getting closer, in fact the number of House seats held my democrats is expanding.

With two weeks remaining until Election Day, the political map has expanded to put Democrats on the run across the country — with 99 Democratic-held House seats now in play, according to a POLITICO analysis, and Republicans well in reach of retaking the House.

It’s a dramatic departure from the outlook one year ago — and a broader landscape than even just prior to the summer congressional recess. As recently as early September, many Republicans were hesitant to talk about winning a majority for fear of overreaching.

Today, however, the non-partisan Cook Political Report predicts a GOP net gain of at least 40 House seats, with 90 Democratic seats in total rated as competitive or likely Republican.

With all due respect to the political pundits in the know, who could not have foreseen this coming after Obamacare was forced through the House and Senate against the will of the American public with no bi-partisan support from Republicans? Following the passage of Obamacare 219 to 212, Scared Monkeys said, “You might celebrate your treachery tonight Dems, you will be crying in 2010, 2012 and every two years thereafter. Your insolence and complete disregard against the will of the American people will never be forgotten.”

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Democrats thought the American people would forget and get over it. However, we knew better. Nancy Pelosi in the past stated that the health care that “I see the way we did health care reform as a way of getting something done for the American people.” The arrogance and disdain for the American people was beyond the pale. Then came Pelosi’s  coup de gras … “We need to pass ObamaCare so that the public can find out what’s in the bill.”

We knew it was terrible and Dems were in trouble when even SNL went after Reid, Pelosi and Obama.

With all of this outrageous behavior by Democrats … is it a shock that they find themselves two weeks out of a political turkey Donkey shoot? Some Democrats say, according to The Hill, that Pelosi will not run again for Speaker. That’s nice; however, Nancy Pelosi will not have to make that choice as WE THE PEOPLE in two weeks are about to make the decision for her.

Wow, you thought 99 was an unbelievable number for Democrat House seats in play … some are saying 117!!!
