The Independent Vote Paves the Way for Victory for the GOP in Nevada, Kentucky, Colorado & Pennsylvania

Obama and the democrats have lost the Independent vote …

Less than a week before the 2010 midterm elections and the independent vote is making it possible for Republican US Senate wins in Nevada, Kentucky, Colorado and Pennsylvania. It was Barack Obama who carried independents in 2008; however, that was then, this is now. Independents have all but abandoned the Democrats in 2010 as the oppose the Reid, Pelosi, Obama agenda.

In a recent TIME/CNN/Opinion Research poll, Republican and Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle leads Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid 49% to 45%.  No wonder the Reid camp is gaming the system with buying votes. Also, Tea Party backed GOP candidate Rand Paul is riding the wave of independent support with a 50% – 43% lead over Democrat Jack Conway in Kentucky. Rand Paul is destroying Conway by 37 points, 63% to 26%, among independents. In the “keystone” state of Pennsylvania Republican Pat Toomey leads Democratic Representative Joe Sestak 49% – 45% and in Colorado, Republican Senate nominee Ken Buck is clinging to a narrow advantage over Senator Michael Bennet.

The opinion seems to be that Republicans may not win control of the Senate asa +10 pickup is almsot next to impossible; however, many are gleeful that Harry Reid will be put out to pasture once and for all. Democrats can than their lucky stars that all Senate seats are not up for reelection like the House as they would find themselves on November 3, 2010 with a GOP controlled veto proof majority.

However, come 2010 midterm election eve … no one really knows what the size of the GOP victory will be. One thing is for certain, there will be no way that Democrats will be able to spin it as any sort of victory.

CBS Poll: Majority of Likely Voters Say Their House Vote is a Referendum on Barack Obama … More Voting Against Obama Than For The One

With less than one week to go before the 2010 midterm election, a new CBS poll has the Republican party ahead in the Congressional Generic ballot over Democrats 46% to 40%. As seen in most of the polls over the last 6 months, independents are breaking sharply for the GOP. To make matters worse for Democrats, even though President Obama has been campaigning nonstop for Democrats, 56% of likely voters say Obama’s support for a candidate has no impact on their vote.

The advantage can be attributed in large part to independents, who are breaking hard for the GOP. Forty-seven percent of independent likely voters say they plan to vote Republican, while just 32 percent plan to vote Democrat. Seventeen percent haven’t made up their minds.

More than four in five Democrats and Republicans, meanwhile, say they are sticking with their party.

A majority of likely voters say their House vote is a referendum on President Obama, and more are voting against the president than for him. Thirty-two percent are casting a vote against Mr. Obama, while 22 percent are casting their vote to support him. Forty-two percent say their vote is about something else.

Rasmussen has the Congressional Generic ballot at Republicans 49% and Democrats 40%. Real Clear Politics has the average polling of Congressional Generic ballots with a 6.5% lead for the GOP.

What might be the most interesting and alarming bit of polling data for Democrats in this CBS poll is the fact that the GOP has a slight lead with woman over Democrats. If that holds true across America on election day, Democrats will only wish there was a tsunami, rather than a follow up volcano, earthquake and tidal wave.

Men favor Republican candidates in their House vote this year by eight points, while the Republican edge is narrower among women.
Likely voters under age 45 are divided in their vote for Congress, while older voters are more likely to vote for Republicans.

Nevada US Senate 2010 Election: Sharron Angle To Reid, “Man Up” and Win the “Election Outright”

Sharron Angle campaign to Harry Reid … “WIN IT OUT RIGHT”!

Two days ago, the Democratic Secretary of State announced that voters can be provided “free food” at “voter turnout events.” Harry Reid has been offering free food and, according to other reports, some Democratic allies such as teachers’ unions are offering gift cards in return for a vote for Reid.

Harry Reid intends to steal this election if he can’t win it outright. As a result, we need to deploy literally dozens of election law attorneys and poll watchers to combat these tactics at a cost of nearly $80,000. That’s over and above our current budget. We need to raise $80,000 and we need to do it RIGHT NOW, because even as I am writing this, Harry Reid and his Machine are trying to steal this election.

Not to worry Nevada voters, as Weasel Zippers comments, a vote for Harry get you free food and gift cards. Nah, no vote buying here at all on the part of Democrat incumbent Harry Reid. You know what it won’t get you … EMPLOYMENT! How do you feel Nevada that you have one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and top the lists for home foreclosures and bankruptcies.

The “Partisan” View … Joy Behar Calls Republican Nevada Senate Candidate Sharron Angle a Bitch

The LEFT have come unhinged as they see the handwriting on the wall for the 2010 midterm elections … Is it really literate to protest an ad that you claim is hate speech with, um hate speech?

On ABC’s ‘The View”, Joy Behar calledRepublican Nevada Senate challenger Sharron Angle a “bitch” and said “she was going to hell”. How professional. Does Behar realize that she is not on MSNBC? Does ABC realize that they are not MSNBC, or are they? However, this is not the first time that Behar has become unhinged and acted in an unprofessional manner. As the Gateway Pundit says, is this ‘The View’ or ‘The Jerry Springer Show’?

Far be it from a liberal to call another a moron or a Nazi

I’d like to see her do this ad in the South Bronx. Come here bitch, come to New York! I’m not praying for her! She’s going to hell! She’s going to hell, this bitch!

However, as stated at Weasel Zippers, for every action there is a reaction and the “bitch” comment by Behar rallied the GOP and Tea Party troops whereas Angle received $137,000 in campaign donations. Keep talking Joy! The more the LEFT media open their mouths with their bias liberal agenda, the more they are counteracted by a sane electorate.

Hot Air has an interesting take, if Joy defines “Hell” as the US Senate, then she is correct. As Sharron Angle is on the verge of winning the Nevada US Senate over Harry Reid. According to Rasmussen, Angle leads Reid 49% to 45%. Making matters even worse which can explain why Reid cannot do better than 45% in a poll as an incumbent, Harry Reid only has a 29% approval rating.

The LEFT just cannot help themselves and neither can the liberal women from The View. Imagine how Joy Behar will be reacting after November 2, 2010.

Charlie Cook Says Democrat Losses in The House Will Be Enormous in 2010 Midterm Election

With one week to go …

Charlie Cook says that Democrat losses in the House will be enormous  in the 2010 midterm election and the GOP will regain power; however, the US Senate is harder to call. Republicans will have to run the table and pick up an almost unheard of 10 US Senate seats on November 2. As Powerline states, it is a difficult road to hoe when many of the seats that need to be picked up are in traditional Democrat states like CA, WA, PA and IL.

It’s easy to look at what appears to be a gigantic Republican 2010 midterm election wave in the House and feel a little slack-jawed, but not so much surprised. There were plenty signs well over a year ago that Democrats were facing grave danger, but even when expecting an onslaught, one can still be shocked at its size and unrelenting force. It would be a surprise if this wave doesn’t match the 52-seat gain on Election Night in 1994, and it could be substantially more.

On the other hand, the Senate picture is incredibly confused. There is no clear narrative in the Senate, just bizarre ups and downs. Republicans could easily find themselves picking up as “few” as seven or as many as 10 seats. An 8-seat pickup seems about right, but that is not written with a great deal of confidence; there are way too many races separated by very few points.

However, it is not like the 2010 elections are the end, it is just the beginning.

Barack Obama Said What About Republicans … “They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

UNREAL!!! This President truly is not fit for office. So this is the “Hope & Change” that America voted for in 2008, eh?

Barack Hussein Obama, the most divisive and polarizing President in the history of the United States just said the following at a fundraiser yesterday in Rhode Island … “We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.” WHAT!!! They have to sit where Mr. President?

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

These are the comments that come from the President who is supposed to govern all? Sadly, Rosa Parks was unavailable for comment. Obama knows damn well what the imagery is when some one says “sit in the back” and he said it any how. What a sad, pathetic, divisive, race baiting disgrace. As stated by Ed Driscoll, at some point Obama needs to realize that he is supposed to be the President of all the people, not the small fraction of Leftists that watch MSNBC.

Ans just a reminder Mr. President, it is the people who decide who has the keys to the car, bus, truck, train and plane!

Rhode Island Democrat Gov. Candidate Frank T. Caprio Says to Obama … Take Your Endorsement and “SHOVE IT” … He Treats Us Like an ATM Machine

President Obama … “SHOVE IT”.

President Barack Hussein Obama causes chaos and hostility in the Democrat party. The man who was supposed to bring red and blue states, Republicans, Democrats and independents together, seems to have difficulty in his own party as he fractures Democrats in Rhode Island.

Democrat Gubernatorial candidate Frank T. Caprio told President Barack Obama to take his endorsement and “shove it”after the Democrat candidate was spurned by the President. Obama while traveling to Rhode Island for a fund raiser did not endorse the candidacy of the Democrat stating that he was going to sit this one out. Real Clear Politics has the race a near tie between Frank Caprio (D) 32.0%, Lincoln Chafee (I) 30.3% and  John Robitaille (R) 20.0%. An Obama endorsement would have gone along way in a Caprio victory; however, Obama decided not to endorse his own party.

Welcome to Rhode Island, where Democratic politics are so quirky that the party’s nominee for governor welcomed President Obama on Monday by declaring, on live radio, that the president could “take his endorsement and really shove it.”

Later, as if to drive home his point, the Democrat, Frank T. Caprio – miffed that Mr. Obama is refusing to endorse him in the governor’s race – was a no-show when the president toured a local factory here, although he had an invitation from the White House to attend.

The lack of an endorsement was looked upon by many as an unstated endorsement of liberal Republican turned independent Lincoln Chaffe. Obama is repaying the favor to Chafee of his political endorsement when Chafee served in the US Senate as a Republican. Knowing that the 2010 midterm elections are all but lost, Obama seems to be caring more about his own reelection bid in 2012 than supporting members of his own party. After all, it’s all about Barack Obama.
