NFL QB Brett Favre Admits Sending Voicemails But Not Pics to Jenn Sterger

Isn’t this typical … Don’t do the slime if you can’t handle the crime.

Brett Favre admits sending voicemails to Jenn Sterger but not the explicit pictures. Is this kind of like he tried pot, “but he didn’t inhail”? Favre has been accused of sexting Jenn Sterger when both were employee of the NY Jets. It has yet to be determined whether Sterger will meet with NFL oficials regarding this matter.

Glazer, speaking on the FOX NFL pregame show, said a source informed him that Favre claimed responsibility for the voice messages during his meeting with NFL security on Tuesday.

Favre is being investigated for potentially violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy after allegations that the future Hall of Famer sent Sterger inappropriate messages while he was playing for the team in 2008. Favre currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings.

When will folks like this just accept that it is better just to admit what was done rather than the story having legs. Favre will now come out with outlandish statements that no one will believe. That is of course unless he settles with Sterger for a monetary sum.

So we are supposed to believe just the voicemails came from Brett Favre’s phone, but not the explicit pictures? Sure they did. Of course Favre had to admit to the voice messages as it was obviously his phone. He and his lawyers will claim that some one else had access to his phone and sent the pics to Jenn Sterger. Who do you think would do such a thing Brett … your wife?

and has one thing on her mind.

SD, give me a break with that sexist comment. This is a middle-aged so called “family” Man whose Wife has stood by him throughout HER bout with Cancer and his past addiction to alcohol and pain pills. What a freakin Putz. He is a GrandFather now, for Crissakes.

More importantly, Favre is done either way. He’s got 2 fractures again and the Coach, Team and NFL are not happy with him all together. And because the NFL continually markets and sells T & A, does not give a Professional Athlete the right to send naked pictures of his genitals to her and leave her unwanted voicemails! Come on SuperDave, cut the crap!

Buh-Bye, Brett. Somebody please pass the Kleenex.

What a mess. Just more of The pampered athlete antics. Grandfather or not, if he did it he should
      be sent packing.

yes, keep sending these half dressed women to the locker rooms. i agree with super dave and i am female. men are very visual, what do these kind of women expect.

on the other hand, it has always amused me how older men, with lots of money, think that younger women fall in love with them. these women laugh all the way to the bank.

I’m sorry, Sue but I completely disagree with the first portion of your statement. This woman did not go in to the lockerrooms like that other Mexican Sportsreported did. I don’t think that a MALE lockerroom is ANY place for females, period. Think about that. This girl was just doing her job, and what she choses to wear is in fact, encouraged for the kind of PR she was hired to promote in her contract.

Her attire by NO MEANS gives ANYONE the RIGHT to persue her, or SEXUALLY HARRASS HER AT HER WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT. ESPECIALLY if that individual is a Professional Athlete who is MARRIED, and his advances were not solicited or coerced in any manner.

I am not comparing Ms. Sterger to the money grubbing whores who sold their soles and slept with other married Men only to extort them for money, such as all of the Tiger Woods or Jesse James Whores. I think this woman was only doing her job. If she was interested in money, she would have come out long ago. The Daily Beast paid for those images, and did not receive them from her.

The Second part of your statement I agree with. Favre obviously has been going through a mid life crisis for years, and the person that should be taking action against him in a court of Law, is his Wife, IMO. His ass needs to be kicked to the curb by more than just the NFL.

“That is of course unless he settles with Sterger for a monetary sum.”
Well that’s the whole point, right Sterger? I’m all for slapping a guy down who won’t take no for an answer, who thinks he can come on to you in an aggressive but unwelcome way. I’m all for eliminating sexual harrassment. But this smacks of “I could sure use another pair of Jimmy Choo’s”.

#7- Lil. Let’s see what she does. So far, she has not even agreed to speak with the NFL, or granted any “interviews” anywhere, even with The Daily Beast. There were several phone calls and she refused several requests to have an interview reported on by those..he-hum..”journalists”. If another individual/organization/blog some one else outed her and caused this to be exposed in the MSM, why should she take a hit for it for all the negative press she has also received on it? You and others are passing judgement on her by making derrogatory comments, assuming she is promiscuous or a gold digger.

Tell you what, damn right if I were her I would take a monetary settlement! She did not encourage Favre’s behavior at any place or any time. Why should she suffer for it? BTW, I hope she buys herself a few new pair of Louboutin’s, too.

      =)~

she and her lawyer will make an appearance eventually. they are just letting the story get legs. i’m sure there will be a very nice money settlement. she will smiling all the way to the bank.

i still am smiling about the older men who think these young girls really fall in love with them, when it’s really their bank accounts that they fall in love with.

    10. NGBoston on October 27th, 2010 7:42 am

#9- So, Southern Sue- may I ask you a question? Considering that it is know pretty much public knowledge that Favre is a legitimate Perv (he also admits to calling her again last year in 2009 (he sent the photos of his manhood the previous year when she was still employed w.the Jets) and she did not answer his call nor return one. So, do you believe she is entitled to some monetary compensation to continue to keep quiet and spare Mr. Favre and the NFL any further embarrassment for her mistreatment?

      Just curious…… Thanks

    11. LilPuma on October 27th, 2010 1:58 pm

If a bookkeeper for the local cable TV company had done this, she’d tell him to get lost, delete his messages, not answer his calls. Since the man is rich and famous, it’s in the news, she has a lawyer. As for “she did not encourage Favre’s attention at any place or any time”, well, we don’t know that for sure. I don’t like false or frivolous accusations dminishing the validity and severity of real harrassment or stalking, and going after celebs is all too common. So far, this sounds like a problem a lot of women deal with every day without the help of lawyers, reporters and bankers.

The Jets must really be feeling the economic crunch!

The shirts, they are much smaller this year.
