New Democrat Message for Midterm Elections, Forget to Discuss Two of the Key Points of Obamacare, “Don’t Say it Will Reduce Costs & Deficits”
How do Democrats want to win in November… they hope that you forget all the lies that they told you! In other words, don’t discuss and remind the voters that Obama, Pelosi and Reid passed Obamacare against the will of the people.
Democrats worried about this years 2010 midterm elections and their disconnect with people under 40, non-college-educated women and Hispanic voters, have a plan … LIE TO THEM!Get this, Democrats have decided on how to defend Obamacare, a law that by a 60% to 36% of Americans want to repeal. How do they intend to do this? According to the Politico, Democrats are not going to discuss that Obamacare will reduce costs and the federal deficit.
There is just one really big issue with this, actually two. President Barack Hussein Obama stated that there were three principles of Obamacare … reduce health care costs, individuals keep their own doctors and all Americans must have quality and affordable health care. Um, the only problem is that it was all a lie and that Obamacare will increase health care costs.
Wizbanghas a great slid by slide analysis of the desperate acts of an even more desperate party. Did they really not think that all this was going to come back on them and that there would be hell to pay? As Kim states regarding this strategy … “Sure, this new strategy sounds like a real winner…for Republicans.”
Key White House allies are dramatically shifting their attempts to defend health care legislation, abandoning claims that it will reduce costs and deficit and instead stressing a promise to “improve it.”
The messaging shift was circulated this afternoon on a conference call and PowerPoint presentation organized by Families USA — one of the central groups in the push for the initial legislation. The call was led by a staffer for the Herndon Alliance, which includes leading labor groups and other health care allies. It was based on polling from three top Democratic pollsters: John Anzalone, Celinda Lake and Stan Greenberg.

Barack Obama Takes 6th Vacation of the Year, This Time to Martha’s Vineyard … It’s Good to be King
With the Obama economy … It’s nice that some one can take a vacation …
What is a President to do with a record federal deficit, government spending out of control, unemployment at 9.5% and first time jobless claims on the rise instead of jobs being created? Well if you are Barack Hussein Obama, you go on yet another vacation on the tax payers dime. Does this President care about the common working family? The image that he portrays of an elitist who does not sacrifice when he tells Americans to in this economic down turn is appalling.

It’s good to be King
Welcome to Obama’s Summer of job recovery, where no jobs are created and the Obama’s tell the commoners to “eat cake” as they take yet another vacation. In an economic time where individuals have no jobs, there is record people on food stamps, housing foreclosure rate is up and your average American cannot afford to take one vacation … the Obama’s are off to “Life Styles of the Rich and Famous” Martha’s Vineyard.
The White House mouth pieces state that Barack Obama is going to spend some time recharging is batteries. FROM DOING WHAT, DESTRYING OUR ECONOMY? All polls show that Americans roundly disapprove of how Obama has handled the economy. An AP poll showed at 41% approved and 56% disapprove of his handling of the economy.
Recharging his batteries, wasn’t Obama just in Maine?

Democrats Call You Extreme, Eh … Who Is Really the Party of Extreme
11ho is the party of Extreme?
Democrats have called Republicans, the party of no. However, the reason why the GOP says “NO” is because the Democrats have become so extreme and going against the will of the American people on ever issue … being the party of No, is being the party of, by and for ‘We the People”.
Watch this very powerful video … the midterm elections are right around the corner, make your voice be heard!
Hat Tip: NRO
As Hot Air states, the Dems will find issue with the fact that Rasmussen is used in their ad, let the whining begin. Of course they forget the little fact that Rasmussen has been the most accurate pollster in the business and even called Obama’s victory over McCain.
Do note that there’s lots of Rasmussen sourcing here, which will lead to plenty of screeching about supposedly tilted numbers from the usual suspects tomorrow. Oh well.
The Obama Economic Recovery:New Jobless Unemployment Claims Increased 12,000 to 500,000
Welcome to the Barack Hussein Obama economic Summer of job recovery, NOT!
For the third week in a row, jobs are going the opposite direction. For the week ending August 14, 2010, first time unemployment claims were up another 12,000 to a season adjusted 500,000! That is correct America, jobless claims have reaced one half a million. This is the highest rate since November 2009. Can you say that the Obama job recovery is going backwards? What does this tell us … employers are cutting jobs in the slow economy, not hiring.
These economic numbers should bode well for Obama and Democrats 75 days out from the 2010 midterm elections. There is a reason why only 28% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction and only 41% think Obama is handling the economy well. Look for this number to drop into the 30′s.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 500,000 in the week ended Aug. 14, the highest since mid-November, the Labor Department said.
Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast claims slipping to 476,000 from the previously reported 484,000 the prior week, which was revised up to 488,000 in Thursday’s report.
As President Barack Hussein Obama stumps across America and vists hard hit states like Ohio with his lies that the economy is getting better … the fact of the matter is, IT IS NOT! Obama told people in the Buckeye state that the economy was on the right track. What track is that, one where the train is headed on a colission coarse with a double dip recession?

Howard Dean Opposes Mosque Says, “It’s an Afront to People Who Lost Their Lives” ” … Democrats Part from Obama
What was that President Barack Hussein Obama … it was Howard Dean driving the bus over top of you.
YIKES … Howard Dean, the former chairman of the DNC has come out against the building of the mosque near Ground Zero and called it, “a real affront to people who lost their lives”
Calling for compromise, Dean said on WABC radio today the mosque plan “a real affront to people who lost their lives” and laments Islam’s being “in the 12th century” in Iran and some other Muslim countries.
He also says he believes the Cordoba organizers are in good faith, and that their project should be built elsewhere.
Howard Dean, the voice of reason for Democrats? Are you serious? Dean called for a compromise and stated that the mosque should be built elsewhere.
How is it that Barack Obama cannot act as a statesman and look for a common solution of compromise for this volatile issue, instead of just fanning the flames? One really has to ask them self what is Obama’s agenda? The Democrats are in disarray on the mosque issue as the Gateway Pundit stated, Dean just drop kicked Obama and Pelosi under the bus.
How fractured are Democrats leading into the 2010 midterm elections? Howard Dean, unlike Barack Obama, is not back tracking on his words a day later. Even to the likes of Howard Dean, he realizes that there must be a compromise for any so-called bridge to Muslim/Christian tolerance because the mosque is an affront to those that died on 9-11. How is it that the President does not have a similar, rational point of view?
In an interview late Wednesday, former DNC Chair Howard Dean reiterated his belief that the controversial “Ground Zero” mosque should be re-located, arguing that critics of his position were “guilty of” the same type of absolutism on the issue that they’ve accused Republicans of harboring.
The former Governor of Vermont told the Huffington Post that he “stood by” the remarks he had made earlier in the day on WABC radio in which he called the mosque plan “a real affront to people who lost their lives [on 9/11].” But in a clarification of sorts, he stressed that he would not have a problem if the proposed Islamic cultural center ultimately ended up being built in the current location.
The MSMcontinues there masquerade of religious tolerance and the “mosque must be built”.

Obama Falls to 41% Approval Rating in Gallup Poll, 52% Disapprove
The question of the day is, in what poll will Barack Hussein Obama become the 30% President?
The latest Gallup poll has Barack Obama at his lowest job approval rating yet, 41%. Making matters worse, 52% of Americans now disapprove of Obama doing his job. Just one year ago, Obama had a 53% – 40% approval/disapproval rating. Rasmussen has Obama’s job approval at 45% approve - 54% disapprove. Fox News Opinion Dynamics poll has Obama’s job approval at 43% approve and 49% disapprove.
Place your bets, where and when will Obama slip into the 30′s for his job approval? Just in time for the 2010 midterm elections. Look for Obama to drag down the Democrats in this Fall’s elections.

Pennsylvania Senate Election 2010: Pat Toomey (R) 46%, Joe Sestak (D) 37% … Moves to Leans Republican
Republican Pat Toomey takes a 9% point lead in the latest Rasmussen poll over Democrat candidate Joe Sestak, 46% to 37%, for the US Senate seat in Pennsylvania. Driving Toomey’s strong polling numbers is he is backed by 88% of Republicans and is leading by a 2 to 1 margin with Independents in the Keystone state.
A GOP Toomey victory in PA in this November’s midterm election will represent another Republican pickup in the US Senate on their way to a potential regaining of the US Senate.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters in Pennsylvania shows Republican Pat Toomey picking up 46% support, while his Democratic opponent Joe Sestak earns the vote from 37%. Five percent (5%) prefer a different candidate, and 12% are undecided.
In every survey conducted this year, Toomey’s support has stayed in the range of 42% to 47% of the vote. Aside from a brief surge in support following his mid-May primary victory over incumbent Senator Arlen Specter, Sestak’s support has fallen in a narrow 36% to 40% range since tracking began in February.
Toomey is backed by 82% of Republican voters, while Sestak earns the vote from 66% of Democrats. Toomey holds a nearly two-to-one advantage among voters not affiliated with either major political party
RCPpolling average has Toomey up by 6 over Sestak.

Is the Controversial Mosque on the Move Away from Ground Zero? (UPDATE: Nope, Developers Refuse)
It is being reported that the mosque that is supposed to be built near Ground Zero might be on the move. Discussions are to take place as to a possible compromise location for the mosque away from the close proximity of Ground Zero. I must say, I am a bit skeptical as well of such a compromise as there was a purpose behind building this mosque so close to Ground Zero in the first place.
However, who would have ever imagined that President Obama would take leadership classes from NY Governor David Paterson? Obama messes up the mosque controversy and makes the matter worse while Gov. Paterson actually looks for compromise solutions … in a word for Barack Hussein Obama, nice leadership.

Paterson (rt), Obama (left) … who’s the statesman?
There was a possible resolution in the works in the debate surrounding the proposed mosque and Islamic cultural center near ground zero.
CBS 2?s Marcia Kramer has learned it looks as if the developers of the mosque may be willing to budge and move away from the Park 51 location where they originally planned the construction.
So will the mosque be moving?
New York Gov. David Paterson plans to meet with developers of the controversial Ground Zero mosque as early as this week to offer them state land – at another location – for their cultural and religious center. Paterson told Congressman Peter King about the meeting, and King said the governor asked him to make it public.
