Swiss Authorities Say No to Extradition of Film Director Roman Polanski to the United States to Face Rape Charges

Well if you drug, rape and sodomize 13 year old girls, Switzerland is just the place for you. We have all heard of Swiss neutrality, but this is ridiculous.

Roman Polanski  was arrested in September 2009 in Zurich, Switzerland and has been under house arrest and facing extradition back to the United States to stand trial for rape charges. However, thanks to the gutless Swiss … the 76 year old Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski is now a free man. The Swiss authorities have decided not to extradite the man who is alleged to have drugged and raped a 13 year old girl.

Hey Switzerland, if it was Heidi who was drugged, raped and sodomized … would you have extradited?

Just curious Switzerland, WHAT PART ABOUT THE UNDISPUTED TESTIMONY OF POLANSKI DRUGGING, RAING AND SODOMIZING A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL DON’T YOU QUITE GET? Thanks to the Swiss, this perv, scumbag escapes accountability.

The US has expressed its disappointment over the move.

Widmer-Schlumpf said the decision had been taken following Washington’s refusal to give access to confidential documents.

“In these circumstances it was not possible to exclude with the necessary certainty that Roman Polanski had already served the sentence to which he was condemned at the time,” Widmer-Schlumpf told a news conference in the capital, Bern, on Monday afternoon.

She added that Switzerland had also decided against extradition because Polanski had been coming to the country in good faith for years.

Just curious Switzerland, if it was Heidi who was drugged, raped and sodomized … would you feel different?

Justice Minister Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf stated, “this is not about qualifying a crime. This is not about deciding on guilt or innocence.”Of course it was you fool. Your actions decided the guilt and innocence of this confessed child rapist. By not allowing extradition, you made yourself the judge and jury in this man’s crimes, rather than a jury of his peers. Widmer-Schlumpf  added that she was confident that the American public would understand the Swiss decision. Oh yea, because we in America are all for child rapists not facing the responsibility of having their day in court.

Don’t ever look for justice in Switzerland … child rapist of the world unite, you have found refuge in the Swiss Alps.

If you don’t supply the information the Swiss authorities asks for this is what you get.

The time is over when countries would extradite people just because the USA asked for it.
This is a direct consequence of the loss of respect the USA and it’s judicial system has suffered over the last few decades.

I do not agree with this judge, but her response brings up a sore spot with me. I understand that she expects the US to get over it. This is due to the fact that our American lawmakers have always had sympathy for child molesters. Child sex offenders are not charged with rape; they are charged with molesting. I have often wondered why they don’t call rape what it is, rape. I think that the problem would be seriously deterred if rape was considered and called rape whenever it occurred. I think there should be a mandatory sentence for all rapists. It should be 5 years in prison and 5 years in a mental institution with intense counseling. A second offense should be life in prison without the possibility of parole. I do not believe that child rapists can be rehabilitated. They are serial rapists. I suppose a lot of family members would be behind bars. This is why our lawmakers don’t persue what’s right.

      #1 yeah right…give me a break.

This has nothing to do with our reputation or loss of respect for the USA. This is ALL about harboring a rapist, sodomist and child predator. This guy should be locked up HERE in the USA and face the consequences of his putrid, sick and disgusting actions.

I suppose you support what he did with your rhetoric.

Let me guess, you voted for Obama?

Well genius, you know his ratings amongst Muslim countries is at the same level as GWB when he left office….hmmmm.
