Saudi Arabia Gives OK to Israel, They will Allow Use of Air Space to Attack Iranian Nuclear Sites

The saying is really true, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Never has that been more evident that the Saudi’s and Israel. Such is the case with Saudi Arabia who has cleared the way to allow Israel to use it’s air space if necessary to attack Iran’s nuclear sites.

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.

To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defences will return to full alert.

“The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way,” said a US defence source in the area. “They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren’t scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [US] State Department.”

16 People killed in Flash Flood in Arkansas as Hikers & Campers Swept Away, Dozens Missing

Tragedy strikes Arkansas when flash floods hit the Caddo and Little Missouri rivers that rose by 20 feet overnight. The result was the hikers and campers who were spending the night in tents along the rivers in the isolated Ouachita Mountains were unsuspectingly swept away.

It was reported that 16 people had died in flash floods and dozens are missing in Arkansas after flood waters swept through a camp ground. Sadly, many of the the  dead reported are children and there are still as many as 20 people still missing after the flash flood.

About 60 campers were rescued by emergency workers, another two dozen hospitalized, the Associated Press reported, citing authorities. Dozens more are still missing and feared dead.

“About one-thirty, two in the morning, we started hearing children and women screaming and crying,” said Crystel Hofer, who was asleep in her cabin when the water came raging through. “So we went to the door and opened the door and they were trying to come up the hill to where our cabin was to escape the rising water.”

UPDATE I: 17 now dead in Flash Flood and many still missing as search and rescue/recovery begins.

Rescue crews took to kayaks, horseback and ATVs on Saturday to resume the desperate search for about two dozen campers still missing after flash floods swept through a popular campground, killing at least 17 people.

With just five months before the November midterm elections, President Barack Hussein Obama finds himself with an all time low in the Gallup poll.The One’s approval rating according to Gallup has slipped to 44% while his disapproval is at 48%. OUCH, that is going to leave a mark. With Obama’s approval rating nearing the 30′s, Democrats must be in complete panic mode. The once Obama “Midas” touch is all but gone as even the LEFT is starting to questions Obama’s leadership.

Rasmussen has Obama with a 46% approval rating and 53% disapproval.

The Real Clear Politics average has Obama at a 47.3% approval and 46.4% disapproval.

What is dragging and continuing to drag Obama’s approval numbers down? That would be the BP oil spill and his miserable handling of the situation. Any one can plainly see that he is in over his head, has no idea how to handle the matter and is completely void of leadership. Gallup polling show that only 40% of the public approve of how Obama is handling the BP oil spill.

How is it possible that after 54 days since the BP oil spill began and 60 million gallons pf spilled oil later, Barack Hussein Obama is finally going to meet with the CEO of BP. WHAT LEADERSHIP. Only when questioned and criticized that Obama had never met with the Chief Executive Officer of BP did the White House finally arrange the meeting. Did it not dawn on Obama that he should have?

Never has there been such a naive, novice and dangerous WH running the United States of America. Their ineptness knows no bounds and can be seen by the American public as “The Chosen One” is losing support.

Joran Van der Sloot Says He Knows Where the Body of Natalee Holloway is Located

Is there an echo? How many times is Joran Van der Sloot going to cry wolf?

After five years and so many countless lies from the lips of Joran Van der Sloot, he once again claims that he knows where Natalee Holloway’s body is located.Natalee Holloway, the then Alabama teenager who went missing in Aruba in May 2005, was last reported seen withJoran Van der Sloot after leaving Carlos N’ Charlie’s has never been seen or heard from since. Joran Van der Sloot was arrested multiple times in the Holloway case; however, Aruba never prosecuted the predator.

Joran Van der Sloot after being arrested and confessed in connection with the murder of 21 year old StephanyFlores in Peru, a murder that took place five years to the date of the disappearance and death of Natalee Holloway in Aruba now says he wants to come clean and states he knows where Natalee’s body is. We have no doubt he knows were Natalee Holloway’s body is, after all he most likely helped put it there … the question is whether he will tell the truth as to the location.

Joran van der Sloot told investigators that he knows the location of Natalee Holloway’s body and the circumstances surrounding her death, but would  explain everything to Aruban police, a Peruvian police official said. Last week U.S. authorities filed charges against Van der Sloot for reportedly extorting money from Holloway’s mother.

Miguel Canlla, head of the homicide division of the Peruvian national police investigative unit, said Thursday that Aruban police were not currently in Peru, and he did not know whether the Aruban and Peruvian investigators had been in contact.

Though Van der Sloot has never been charged with Holloway’s disappearance in 2005, last week, U.S. authorities filed charges against him for reportedly extorting money from Holloway’s mother in return for informing the location of Holloway’s body and the circumstances surrounding her death.

Isn’t the extortion case filed against him in Alabama yet another example of Joran Van der Sloot claiming the he would show where Natalee Holloway was located after all these years and what happened to her, only for it to be nothing more than another hateful lie? In the extortion case he wanted $225,000, in this situation he most likely wants a reduction in time on the murder charge or a chance to spend his prison time somewhere else but in Peru. However, just because Van der Sloot said he knew where Holloway was did not mean that he was willing to provide the infiormation.

16 Year Old Abby Sunderland Missing, Feared Lost at Sea Attempting to Become Youngest Sailor to Circumnavigate the Globe (UPDATE: Found Safe)

16 year old Abby Sunderland is missing and feared lost at sea.  Abby Sunderland was attempting to be the youngest sailor ever to circumnavigate the globe. Her support crew lost contact with Abby, who was in heavy seas in the Southern Indian Ocean. At her last contact, Sunderland was in 20-25 foot waves at the time of last contact, with 35-knot winds.

 ”The boat is most likely not completely submerged because there’s another alarm that sends off a signal if it goes 15 feet underwater,” Zac Sunderland said in an interview with Ron Kilgore of KNX radio in Los Angeles. “So yeah, she’s pretty banged up out there right now, and [we're] just trying to get the rescue teams out.”

Abby’s mother, MaryAnne Sunderland, told ABC News that Abby manually activated two emergency beacons sometime before 6 a.m. Pacific Time today.

 A plane from Qantas air, based in Australia, planned to fly over Sunderland’s location at first light Friday — or late Thursday evening Eastern Time.

One really has to question how on earth a parent would allow a 16 yeao old to attempt such a risky and dangerous endeavour. Presently, a search operation is underway for the missing Abby Sunderland. She is believed to be alive and floating in the Indian Ocean.

The engineer behind Abby Sunderland’s solo trip around the world says he believes the 16-year-old Thousand Oaks sailor is “alive” and “most likely floating” in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Speaking to a throng of reporters outside the family’s home, Jeff Casher said he spoke to her at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, then lost contact after she went to check on some equipment on her boat. About an hour later, she apparently activated her emergency beacons – devices that sent automatic alerts to the Coast Guard and her family.

Casher said the family is looking at three possible scenarios. Either the boat’s mast came down, giving her no ability to sail the vessel; the keel hit something and possibly flipped the boat upside down; or she may have broken an arm or leg while being whipsawed about in violent waters.

Thankfully, Abby Sunderland has been located and she is well; however, she still needs to be rescused. SM understands that sailing is this girl’s passion, but at 16 and with this near tragic event that occured, it will be interesting to see whether her parents allow another such voyage. However, in the end than God that she is safe and sound. As stated at Balloon Juice, maybe some risk management assessments need to be more thought out if you are going to let a 16 year ols risk their life in such an adventure.

A spotter jet over the Indian Ocean late Thursday made contact with 16-year-old Abby Sunderland, the Thousand Oaks solo sailor who was adrift in rough seas and heavy winds in her quest to circumnavigate the globe, a spokesman for the teen’s family said.

The Qantas Airways jetliner with dozens of harbor patrol spotters on board made radio contact with Sunderland.
