Beth Holloway Speaks to Students in Alabama … Teens Please Be Cautious, Be Aware … The Legacy of Natalee Holloway
Beth Holloway’s love for her daughter and the Legacy of Natalee Holloway …
With all of the stories recently in the news regarding the latest murderous exploits of Joran Van der Sloot, the little Dutch boy who was accused and was the prime suspect in the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005 … there is no better time than Beth Holloway to continue her campaign to urge teenagers to be cautious.

Sadly, the Natalee Holloway story and now the Stephany Flores one shoudl be a reminder to all teens, tweens and 20 something year olds to use their heads and be very cautious of those around you. Beth Holloway spoke yesterday at the Lions Club of Alabama High School Leadership Forum in Troy, AL. Beth Holloway stated that the best way that she can honor her daughter and the legacy of Natalee Holloway is to warn individuals of the real dangers that exists … “It’s too late for Natalee, it’s too late for me, but it’s not too late for you,” she said. “The best thing I can do to honor her is bring up safety issues to people like you.”
“My daughter, Natalee, would be 23, and she had big plans out of high school like you all,” Holloway said. “What happened to my family could happen to anyone in this room. Any of you could be my child, and your parents could be me.”
Natalee, a graduate from Mountain Brook High School near Birmingham, disappeared on May 30, 2005, on the last day of her high school graduation trip to Aruba.

Because $787 Billion Wasn’t Enough, Now Obama Wants Another $50 Billion Bail Out for States & Local Aid
Because $787 Billion Wasn’t Enough, Now Obama Wants Another $50 Billion Bail Out for States & Local Aid
STOP THE MADNESS …
President Barack Hussein Obama wanted and got a $787 billion stimulus package that was supposed to jump start the economy and keep unemployment under 8%. IT DID NEITHER! How Obama, the Spender in Chief wants Congress to pass another $50 billion package to bail out for state and local aid. What’s another $50 billion that our children and grandchildren will have to pay. The stimulus has been considered an EPIC FAILURE and now Obama wants to do what Obama does best … spend more of We the People’s money.
President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid “massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters” and to support the still-fragile economic recovery.
In a letter to congressional leaders, Obama defended last year’s huge economic stimulus package, saying it helped break the economy’s free fall, but argued that more spending is urgent and unavoidable. “We must take these emergency measures,” he wrote in an appeal aimed primarily at members of his own party.
UNREAL! What’s another $50 billion added to the already out of control Obama debt. Recently, House Majority Leader Steny the Hoyer (D-Md.) said I think there is spending fatigue.” America does not have spending fatigue, we have spending “exhaustion”. You will get no republican votes on this, and if one is stupid enough to agree … they will be voted out of office. Enough is enough, the spending stops here and now.
Check out the US Debt Clock and see what Obama wants to accelerate even more. This should enrage you to no end and want serious CHANGE!

Joran Van der Sloot Fears for His Life in Peruvian Prison … Women of the World Feel Safer
Poetic justice and the life and killings of Joran Van der Sloot.
Joran Van der Sloot supposedly fears for his life in the maximum security Castro Castro Peruvian prison, well it is about time he fears something … let it be a character builder for him.
It has been an amazing and fitting turn of events for Joran Van der Sloot in the past month. Joran Van der Sloot went from continually torturing the family on the 5th anniversary of slain Alabama teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005 by trying to extort money from them for information to the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru to being charged with first degree murder and robbery and incarcerated in a Peruvian prison.

If Joran Van der Sloot thought the Peruvian public reaction to his confessed murder of 21 year old Stephany Flores was something, wait until he gets to the maximum security Castro Castro prison. The Peruvians tossed insults and vegetables at Van der Sloot in disgust for what he had done. Imagine how that will translate in prison. Guess what Joran, even convicts of a code and they will be hardly enthused that a foreign national killed a Peruvian girl.
Joran Van der Sloot claims he fears for his life in the Peruvian prison; however, woman of the world feel much safer now that this sociopath is behind bars and facing murder charges.Shouldn’t we care more about the world public safety that Joran Van der Sloot? Aruba gave this POS a get out of prison free card and emboldened him to kill again as he saw there were no consequences to his crime. Now thanks to Aruba and all those who helped Joran skate, he has killed again. The worst part about it is that Aruba did not relegate Joran’sacts to their own island, they inflicted this sociopath on the world to do as he pleased.
Now that Joran Van der Sloot finds himself in the very cage he belongs, the ‘Sporter” fears for his life. Just for clarification Joran, your Peruvian cage is a much different one than a crab cage isn’t it … but none the less still a cage which adds to the continued poetic justice you are finally receiving. Suddenly Van der Sloot wants to come clean regarding Natalee Holloway? Funny, didn’t Joran Van der Sloothave that opportunity back on May 10, 2010 when he met with attorney John Q. Kelly and the FBI extortion sting where the reprobate promised Natalee’s resting place for money? We see where that went now, didn’t we.

Freedom of Speech? You Tube Pulls “WE CON THE WORLD” … Rehosted for All to See
Freedom of Speech on YouTube, eh?Only when it’s not a song parody against the media’s politically correct darling agendas. YouTube has pulled the VIDEO claiming copyright violations. Thankfully it has been rehosted for all to see again.
WE CON THE WORLD … back for your viewing pleasure
However, let’s discuss the so-called copyright violation that YouTube cited.Caroline Glick discusses it best as follows:
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner/ Chappell Music, Inc. .
Copyright experts we advised with before posting the song told us in no uncertain terms that we were within our rights to use the song because we did so in accordance with the Fair Use Doctrine. The Fair Use Doctrine, copied and pasted below from the US Copyright Office stipulates that it is legal and permissible to use copyrighted material under the fair use doctrine for purposes of parody.
Copyright attorneys also warned us that given our clearly lawful use of the song We are the World, if anyone wished to silence our voices, they wouldn’t target us. Instead they would target YouTube. It is YouTube’s standard practice to remove any material that they receive even the flimsiest threat for because the company wishes to avoid all litigation.
Check out the Fair Use Doctrine from the US Copyright Office.
However, as much as YouTube tries to silence free speech, Ed Morrissey at Hot Air nails in in the age of the intenet, “this also demonstrates the futility of attempting to silence people in an open-source world, doesn’t it?”
Glick also points out that the “We Con the World” video squarely falls into the realm of parody. That qualifies it for the “fair use” exemption under copyright law. Warner /Chappelle can make all the claims they want, but they would lose in court. YouTube wants to avoid paying for a court appearance, but it doesn’t speak well of a New Media outlet that exists to support content producers that they cave to outside pressure so easily — if that is indeed what happened, and if they weren’t just looking for an excuse to eject Latma’s content from the beginning.
Instapundit raises a very fair questions as to what is YouTube’s roll in today’s media other than one who’s credibility continues to take hits as they seem to be displaying an ideological agenda while squelching free speech.
An update from Caroline Glick … We will not be silenced!!!

Profiles in Leadership … President Obama Skipped Mississippi Gulf Memorial Service to Attend Fundraiser for Barbara Boxer
Barack Hussein Obama, the (fill in the blank) ________ in Chief looks like he might need to kick his own “ASS”.
Talk about a lack of leadership and an I do not care attitude. Normally we refer to these Obama moments as “lost in smallness;” however, in this case he is not lost … he is AWOL!

Miss a fund raiser for a memorial service, are you crazy …next thing Americans will expect me to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetary on Memorial Day.
More Barack Obama ”Change” you can believe in. We have been told that Obama’s on it and Obama thinks about the BP Gulf oil spill morning, noon and night. Barack Hussein Obama has had his people on the pol spill crisis since day one and Obama is in charge. The real question appears to be not if his daughters have asked him if he has plugged the hole daddy, but rather what fund raiser he has gone to, instead.

Republican Paul LePage Ahead in Governor’s Race in Maine … Yikes, Change You Can Believe In
Is Maine going RED?
A Republican governor in Maine, REALLY? That just may be the case after this November’s elections. In the first Rasmussen poll poll following the Maine GOP and Democrat primaries, Republican Paul LePage has a 43% to 36% lead over Democrat Libby Mitchell.
Republican Paul LePage is the top vote getter in the race for governor of Maine following the winnowing down of the crowded contest in Tuesday’s primaries.
The first Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the race finds LePage earning the support of 43% of Likely Voters in the state, while Democrat Libby Mitchell picks up 36% of the vote. Democrat-turned-independent Eliot Cutler trails with seven percent (7%). Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.
What is up with the voters in liberal Maine? Have they finally got sick and tired of the liberal agenda? The state of Maine voted for Barack Obama 58% to 40% over John McCain in the 2008 Presidential election; however, the voters have a much different position these days on Obama’s position on health care and immigration. 53% of Mainers want to real Obamacare while 56% of them are in favor of an immigration law like in Arizona. Amazing numbers coming from Maine.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of Maine voters favor repeal of the national health care bill, slightly lower than support nationally. Forty-one percent (41%) oppose repeal. This includes 41% who Strongly Favor repeal of the bill and 30% who are Strongly Opposed.
LePage gets 73% support from those who Strongly Favor repeal. Seventy-two percent (72%) of those who Strongly Oppose it back Mitchell.
In line with views nationally, 56% of voters in Maine favor passage of an immigration law like Arizona’s in their state. Twenty-eight percent (28%) oppose such a law, and 16% are not sure.
Sixty-four percent (64%) of voters who favor a law like Arizona’s in Maine support LePage, while 67% of those opposed to a law like that vote for Mitchell.
Seventy percent (70%) of all voters in Maine like the chief provision of the Arizona law, a requirement that local police check the immigration status of anyone they stop for a traffic violation or some other kind of violation if they suspect that person is an illegal immigrant. Twenty percent (20%) oppose that requirement.
If a state like Maine goes RED, then just like when Massachusetts elected Scott Brown to the US Senate, all states are in play and a worry for Democrats in 2010.
Oh, by the way did we mention that LePage is a “Tea Party” candidate? Think Republicans are not energized and a sign of things to come in the November midterm elections … the Republican primary vote turn out was the largest in 60 years.
