It makes more sense. The previous story had a lot of holes. In this small community, a perv walking the halls in a school would stand out, even on a day when the Science Fair was going on. Plus, the family was reticent to ask for help through the media. The stepmom’s story never held water.
Very very sad. Maybe she will ‘fess up. I’m sure there were signs within (and maybe from without) the family of the problems between her and the poor without-choice youngster.

Square peg – Round hole….. This woman did not do this even though it makes the police’s job easier. This was a stranger abduction at school. This poor child was asked to please use his “strong muscles” to help take one of the projects to the car. He is at school, feels safe and most of all would never argue with an adult while at school. Not counting the excitement of the day and his pride of being asked to help. This took 2 minutes tops. In that brief time no one was watching out for him and someone ” in their community ” took advantage. Remember stranger abductions ( not family ) are rarely strangers. But the do make great neighbors, doctors, store owners or best friends fathers.
