Once again we are witness to former President Bill Clinton and his best attempt at calling the kettle black.
Former President Slick Willie Clinton called GOP Louisiana Senator David Vitter a “sinner” in a recent Democrat fund raising letter. A what, a sinner? Is Bill Clinton allowed to pass any kind of judgement on any one who has had a sexual affair? I think not. As Jammie Wearing Foolstates, Vitter’s past is certainly fair game and it is up to the Loisiana voters as to whether they are going to forgive him for his indiscretions, but to have Bill Clinton be the one who calls another a sinner … Holy Cow Batman.

Former President Clinton has sent out a fundraising letter on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee under his own name warning that Republicans are trying to “derail’ President Obama’s agenda.
Not much unexpected there.
But along with the letter, Clinton has included a flyer from the DSCC that’s bound to raise eyebrows.
“DSCC funds go towards efforts to unseat far-right Republican senators like admitted sinner David Vitter…” the flyer says, referring to the Louisiana senator who admitted patronizing a prostitution service when he was in the House.
Vitter has been a Clinton foe for a long time, calling on President Clinton to step down in 1998 because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
Just curious, if Vitter is a sinner … what exactly does that make William Clinton?

Vitter is a sinner who used the services of a prostitute while preaching family values. Both Clinton and Vitter are sinners!

Perhaps. I don’t remember that. But I do think your standard is too high…I see where you are coming from but by your standard I don’t know a single non-hypocrite. Perhaps true, but the word loses its meaning at that point.
I personally like to reserve the word for the likes of Elliot Sptitzer who actively pursued people for the type of behavior that they secretly endulged in themselves.
Clinton’s behavior was no secret. We knew he was a womanizer and willing to lie about it back before he was elected the first time.
