Hope & Change: President Barack Hussein Obama Has Lost Half the Jewish Vote
Say it ain’t so Jo”seph” … Barack Hussein Obama has lost half of his Jewish support.
In a poll by the McLaughlin Group, The One garnered only 42% of the American Jewish vote while 46% stated they would vote for some one else. OUCH!
The US Jews polled were asked whether they would: (a) vote to re-elect Obama, or (b) consider voting for someone else. 42% said they would vote for Obama and 46%, a plurality, preferred the second answer. 12% said they did not know or refused to answer.
In the Presidential elections of 2008, 78% of Jewish voters, or close to 8 out of 10, chose Obama. The McLaughlin poll held nearly 18 months later, in April 2010, appears to show that support down to around 4 out of 10.
Are we really surprised at the numbers especially when Obama has decided that his “Hope & Change” policy is to bow down before Arabs and fight with Israel?
The Gateway Pundit has more on an Obamanation and why Jews would feel slighted. The real question is why would Jews vote for Obama in 2012?

Barack Obama to Announce Elena Kagan as SCOTUS Nominee … Elections Have Serious Consequnces
NBC News is reporting that President Barack Obama will choose solicitor general Elena Kagan and former Harvard Law School Dean as the next Supreme Court Justice nominee to replace the retiring Justice John Paul Stevens.
President Barack Obama will nominate Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, positioning the court to have three female justices for the first time, NBC News reported late Sunday.
Kagan served as the Dean of Harvard Law School from 2003 to 2009. She was widely viewed as a front-runner when Obama was considering candidates for a Supreme Court opening last year, but the president ultimately chose Sonia Sotomayor for the job.
My what a difference a year makes. As the MSM and WH champion Kagan as a moderate, just one year ago when Kagan was on the short list for the SCOTUS that ultimately went to Sonia Sotomayor, Michelle Malkin described her as follows:
… Dean Kagan has taken positions that are disturbingly out of the mainstream. For example, driven by her view that the “don’t ask; don’t tell” policy adopted by a Democrat Congress and President Clinton is “a profound wrong–a moral injustice of the first order,” she argued that it violates the First Amendment for the United States to withhold funds from colleges that ban the military from recruiting on campus. The Supreme Court unanimously rejected this view …
Check out the C-SPAN videos linked to by Tammy Bruce.
WOW, seems to be several references as to whether Kagan is a Gay/Lesbian … “not that there is any thing wrong with that”.
Go the the SCOTUS blog for much more back ground
The 50 year old Kagan, if confirmed which by all accounts seems to be a yes based on past confirmations, will be serving in the SCOTUS for decades to come. Yes America, elections do have consequences as the most liberal President in the history of the United States is about to nominate a second justice to the SCOTUS and a third can’t be too far away.

Eric Holder & Obama Admin Now Believe Pakistan Taliban Behind Time Square Bomber
After initial Obama White House comments, AG Eric Holder know says that the Pakistan Taliban was behind the Times Square bombing attempt and arrested suspected terrorist Faisal Shahzad. Holder said that, “We know that they helped facilitate it, We know that they probably helped finance it.” How else would the liberal MSM’s down an out man not able to benefit from the American dream, then be able to afford trips back and forth to Pakistan or pull off such a terror attempt?
“We’ve now developed evidence that shows that the Pakistani Taliban was behind the attack,” Holder said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”
Holder’s remarks contrast with what other cabinet secretaries had said last Sunday, when officials had first discovered the attempted attack. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano described the attack as “one off.”
Janet Napolitano: No evidence NYC car bomb ‘anything other than a one-off’
So the Obama Administration finally believes the Taliban were involved, even when they admitted to being so. Officials said Sunday that new evidence has been discovered that the Pakistani Taliban were behind the failed Times Square bombing.
So you mean not only was the Times Square bomber not a Tea Partier as NYC Mayor Bloomberg ignorantly commented and so many in the liberal MSM had hoped, the terrorist turned out to not be a “one off” and instead linked to Pakistan Taliban. The hell you say, so much for jumping to conclusions.
The White House has been caught flatfooted again trying to play down a terror attempt in the United States as they did with the Christmas Day Undie Bomber and Nidal Hassan the Fort Hood shooting.
“Home grown, maybe a mentally deranged person, some body with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill “
As Atlas Shrugs well states, so much for Obama’s Failed Bowing and Scraping Policy to appease those that want to kill us.
Despite the left wing dhimmi media’s losing all credibility after having first broadcast that the Times Square jihadi had to be a tea partier, and then a casualty of Bush’s failed economic policies (4.5% unemployment), the dhimmi media then, when jihad was clearly the motive, said that he was a lone bomber angry at US policies in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have no shame in their contempt for the truth and for their low estimation of the intelligence of the American people.
Remember, Obama”s policy was to partner (nee surrender) to the Taliban, consequently sanctioning their blood lust and barbarity. Despite this, the Taliban told Obama, “there are no moderates or extremists among us.”
How many times are we going to be lucky by a bomb not detonating and people being injured? Luck is not a National Security strategy.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 2010 … THANK YOU!!!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

A special wish to all the moms out there and to those families thinking of the memories of their moms.
All we can do is say Thank You!
My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her. – George Washington
All I am or can be I owe to my angel Mother. – Abraham Lincoln
There never was a woman like her. She was gentle as a dove and brave as a lioness … The memory of my mother and her teachings were, after all, the only capital I had to start life with, and on that capital I have made my way. – Andrew Jackson
A Tribute to Mom – One Heartbeat At A Time
I was reminded this morning while watching Fox News Sunday of the difficult struggle that so many families face and have faced with the this Sunday’s Power Player of the Week, Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin who is battling breast cancer. We wish you well and pray for all the moms that moght be going through this presently.
Happy Mothers Day Mom, I Miss You and Thank You …
Incumbent Republican Utah Senator Robert Bennett Loses GOP Nomination … Mike Lee & Tim Bridgewater Advance to Primary
Robert Bennett … No Soup for You!
Incumbent Utah Senator Robert Bennett has lost the GOP nomination. Robert lost the nomination during the second round of voting as he finished in third place. Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater will advance to the June 22nd primary.
Sen. Robert Bennett lost his party’s nomination during the second round of voting at the GOP state convention Saturday, making the three-term Senator the first incumbent to fall in this volatile midterm election cycle.
Bennett finished in third place in the crucial second-round vote, garnering just 26 percent of the delegate’s support, well behind Tea Party-backed candidate Mike Lee and businessman Tim Bridgewater, who will advance to the June 22nd primary.
“The political atmosphere obviously has been toxic and it’s very clear that some of the votes I have cast have added to the toxic environment,” Bennett acknowledged in a brief media availability with reporters shortly after he was eliminated in the second round of voting.
The ballot went as follows at the GOP Convention:
Bennett was a distant third in the voting among roughly 3,500 delegates. He garnered just under 27 percent of the vote. Bridgewater had 37 percent and Lee 35 percent.
Bennett is the first incumbent to lose his seat in Washington this year, the victim of a conservative movement angered by rising taxes and the growth of government.
As stated at Conservatives 4 Palin, today’s results are a clear win for Conservatives. In a state as conservative as Utah, there is no reason why a RINO like Robert Bennett should have ever been the Senator.
Let this be a lesson to all Republicans … just because you are in incumbent RINO does not give you a free pass to another term. Hint, Lindsey Graham in SC and Corker & Alexander of TN. If you want to act like a RINO is a predominantly conservative state, you shall face the consequences.
This is not only a humiliating end to Bennett’s career in not being able to make it out of the second round and a victory for conservatives, but also a seminal moment for the Tea Party folks and the establishment GOP.The Tea Party is not for the status quo Republican is shows no qualities of what a GOP candidate is supposed to represent.
This shows that the Tea Party movement isn’t about restoring a Republican status quo. The movement’s activists want real change, and real action to reverse the growth of government and the profligate spending that has gone on for far too long in Washington DC. Republican incumbents nationwide should consider this a wake-up call.
In overwhelmingly predominant Republican states Republicans should be very careful to support spending bills like TARP, stimulus bill government spending, new entitlements or any more out of control fool hearty spending.
This is a shot across the bow and a wake up call to Republicans … you best head your voters warnings.

Anti-Immigration Domino Effect … 55% of Colorado Voters In Favor Immigration Law Like Arizona’s
Could an Arizona-like anti-illegal immigration law be coming to Colorado? Also, could the anti-immigration issue swing the Governor’s election for the GOP?
55% of Colorado voters are in favor of an anti-illegal immigration Law like that passed just recently in Arizona. Only 35% were opposed. As the MSM continues to falsely portray the image that a majority of Americas are against the new Arizona immigration law, the truth of the matter is that a majority of Americans approve of it.
Fifty-five percent (55%) of Colorado voters favor a law like the one just adopted in Arizona that authorizes local police to stop individuals they suspect of being illegal immigrants, according to a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state. Thirty-five percent (35%) oppose such a law.
Nationally, 59% of voters favor a law like Arizona’s, unchanged from a week earlier despite last weekend’s protest rallies. Fifty percent (50%) have an unfavorable opinion of the protestors.
Once again we see in a state that Republicans and Indpenedents are concerened about the rule of law, while a majority of Democrats have no issue with individuals being in the USA illegally. Democrat Governor Bill Ritter has stated that he would veto legislation like the law just adopted in Arizona. Seeing that Ritter is not seeking reelection in 2010 and Republican Scott McInnis holds a 48% to 42% lead over Democrat John Hickenlooper, the illegal immigration issue might just be the deciding factor for a GOP win.
In Colorado, 79% of Republican voters and 56% of voters not affiliated with either major party favor a law that cracks down on illegal immigration like the one just adopted in Arizona. Fifty-six percent (56%) of Democrats oppose such a law.
EXIT QUESTION: How many states that are adversely affected by illegal immigration will be implementing Arizona like immigration laws in the not to distant future?
Welcome to the hot button issue for the upcoming elections that has been simmering and ignored for far too many years.

Return of the Jedi … Arizona Gov Jan Brewer’s Immigration Ad in Support of AZ Anti-Illegal Immigration … Obama, “No One is Laughing, Do You Job” (VIDEO)
Dear Mr. President, who is misguided?
In response to President Barack Hussein Obama’s criticism of the new anti-illegal immigration law in Arizona comes Governor Jan Brewer … “No one is laughing, do your job”. The ad below is a sharp contrast between the seriousness of a Governor trying to protect Arizona’s borders and citizens as compared to the Comedian in Chief using the real issue of illegal immigration, drug trafficking, kidnapping and crime as a punchline.
President Obama, Broken Borders are not a Laughing Matter
No One in Arizona is Laughing … Do Your Job
Even though the state run MSM continued to portray the AZ law SB1070 as bigoted and unpopular, as race baiters and opportunists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton look to shake down any one who dare be in favor of the rule of law and border security, we find that Americans and Arizonians are strongly in favor of Brewer’s new anti-immigration law. Once again like in the health care/Obamacare debate … the liberal MSM cannot BS “We the People”.
A funny thing happened on the way to the forum …
All polls show that America is in favor of the new Arizona laws on illegals. A recent Fox News Opinion Dynamic poll shows that 61% of Americans believe that AZ was correct in moving forward to take care of the illegal immigration problem they have rather than waiting for the federal government.
Most American voters think Arizona was right to pass its own immigration law, and think the Obama administration should wait and see how the new law works rather than try to stop it, according to a Fox News poll released Friday.
The new poll finds 61 percent of voters nationally think Arizona was right to take action instead of waiting for the federal government to do something on immigration. That’s more than twice as many as the 27 percent who think securing the border is a federal responsibility and Arizona should have waited for Washington to act.
Most Republicans (77 percent) and independents (72 percent) support Arizona taking action. Democrats are divided: 43 percent think the state was right, while 41 percent think Arizona should have let the federal government take the lead.
The poll also showed that an overwhelming 79% believe that using National Guard troops to help border patrol agents at the country’s Southern border.
Other polling data:
Using the U.S. military to stop illegal immigrants at the borders
Favor: 60% – Oppose: 34%Do you think the Obama administration should try to stop the new Arizona
immigration law, or should the administration wait and see how the law works?
Favor: 15% – Oppose: 64%
For those that want to question the poll because it has Fox News in the title, they may want to review the Rasmussen polls on the issue HERE and HERE, or the CBS/NY Times poll on ant-illegal immigration, or Gallup.
Even the LA Times via Instapundit is pointing out that Democrats are even against the repeal of the new Arizona anti-illegal immigration law.
Interestingly, so do Democrats. And it’s not a squeaker either. By a two to one margin (52-26%), Democrats said the law should be left alone to “see how it works.”
When asked if Arizona was “right to take action by passing its new immigration law and not waiting any longer for the federal government to act,” Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all….
…responded that the state was right to take action. GOP respondents were most in favor of Arizona’s initiative (77-14%), Independents strongly endorsed the move (72-21%), while it was much closer for Democrats (43-41%).
Democrats, feel free to make illegal immigration a campaign issue in 2010 or 2012.
