Arizona Republican Primary for Senate, Election 2010: McCain 47%, Hayworth 42%
McCain in trouble for Senate re-election?
Could Arizona soon be represented by a Conservative Republican rather than moderate, progressive and incumbent John McCain? Challenger J.D. Hayworth is giving McCain a run for his money in the hotly contested Republican primary in Arizona. McCain presently leads Hayworth 47% to 42%.
Incumbent John McCain now earns just 47% support to challenger J.D. Hayworth’s 42% in Arizona’s hotly contested Republican Senate Primary race, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely primary voters.
McCain has been losing ground since January when he picked up 53% of the potential GOP Primary vote and Hayworth had only 31% support. Last month, the longtime senator and 2008 GOP presidential candidate earned 48% of the vote, while 41% of likely primary voters supported his challenger.
McCain should be troubled at the poll trending that is occurring as he continually loses ground to Hayworth.
However, no matter which Republican wins the primary both McCain and Hayworth lead the Democrat candidate. In any event it appears that Arizona will be a Republican hold in 2010.
Newly announced Democratic candidate Rodney Glassman, a Tucson City Council member, earns 32% support to Senator John McCain’s 54%. Eight percent (8%) would vote for some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
If McCain’s GOP Primary challenger, former Congressman J.D. Hayworth, is the Republican in the race, he gets 48% support, while Glassman picks up 39% of the vote. Seven percent (7%) would opt for some other candidate, while another seven percent (7%) are undecided.
LEFTY Judge Barbara Brandriff Crabb Rules the National Day of Prayer Unconstitutional
Unbelievable, District Court Judge Barbara Brandriff Crabb has ruled that the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional. At what point will these Leftist judges rule that the Declarations of Independence and even the US Constitution is unconstitutional?
Conservative legal experts say a federal district judge in Wisconsin had no legal basis for declaring the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional – and predict the decision cannot stand.
“If the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional, then the Constitution itself if unconstitutional,” Mathew Staver, president of Liberty Counsel and dean of the Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Va., told CNSNews.com.
“The National Day of Prayer – or prayer itself – is older than the Constitution,” Staver said. “There is no question (this ruling) will be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.”
President Obama intends to still recognize the National Day of Prayer even with the lawsuit.Really? How disingenuous is this coming from Obama seeing that during the last National Day of Prayer, The One decided against a public ceremony.
The case was brought by members of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, a group of atheists and agnostics in Wisconsin. They say their message to the government is clear. “We want you to keep out of the religion business. It’s not an appropriate proclamation,” said Annie Laurie Gaylor, one of the plaintiffs. “You should not be asking constituents to pray. You do not have the power to ask constituents to pray and to tell them what to pray for and to set aside a day for prayer.”

Convicted Sex Offender John Albert Gardner Pleads Guilty To Murdering Teens Amber Dubois and Chelsea King
Good riddance to bad rubbish … Gardner pleads guilty, avoids death penalty, but gets life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Dirt bag Convicted Sex Offender John Gardner Pleads Guilty to Murder of two Teens
31 year old, previously convicted sex offender John Gardner has pleaded guilty to the murders of 14 year-old Amber Dubois and 17 year-old Chelsea King. After John Albert Gardner was charged in the rape and murder of Chelsea King, it baceme rather obvious that there was a connection to the death of Amber Dubois when her body was suddenly recovered after being missing since February 13, 2009.
Sex offender John Albert Gardner pleaded guilty Friday to murdering two teenage girls in San Diego County after prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty.
Gardner, 31, faces life in prison without parole for killing 14-year-old Amber Dubois and 17-year-old Chelsea King.
He also pleaded guilty to attempting to rape another woman who was jogging in San Diego last year.
According to the District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, Gardner led authorities to the skeletal remains of Dubois two days after authorities charged him with the murder of King.
Gardner was arrested three days after King disappeared. He initially pleaded not guilty to her killing.
In a surprising turn, Gardner admitted Friday to kidnapping, raping and stabbing Dubois. He also admitted dragging King to a remote area where he raped, strangled and buried her.
After the remains of Dubois were discovered, Escondido police and crime lab technicians worked round-the-clock to find evidence linking Gardner to her murder, but Dumanis said they did not succeed.

New Jersey Says No to Obamacare, 51% in Garden State Want to Repeal Health Care Bill
Is New Jersey becoming a RED state? It appears they are these days as first the Garden State voters elected Republican Chris Christie in a shocker over incumbent Democrat Jon Corzine … now a majority of voters in News Jersey want to repeal Obamacare.
51% of New Jersey voters want to repeal the back room, corrupt, Obamacare deal. Although nationwide, 58% of voters want to repeal Obamacare, a 51% to 45% repeal Obamacare is rather lofty numbers considering Barack Obama won NJ in 2008 easily by a 57% to 42% margin.
My how the mighty Obama has fallen, even in true blue states like New Jersey.
Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters in New Jersey, a state Barack Obama carried handily in 2008, now favor repeal of the recently-passed national health care bill. That includes 41% who strongly favor repeal.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the Garden State finds that 45% oppose repeal of the health care plan, with 38% who strongly oppose it.
With this kind of opposition to Obama and Democrat policies in sure bet states like New Jersey, what fate is in store for Democrats across the United States this coming midterm election.
See you in November …

Barack Obama to Tea Party and America … Let Them Eat Taxes … “They should be saying thank you”
Obama Arrogance on display …
President Barack Hussein Obama has nothing on Marie Antoinette as The One says to the Tea Party and Americans for that fact, “LET THEM EAT TAXES”.
One thing is for certain, Barack Obama cannot take criticism. Yesterday, at a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser in Miami, FL, Obama addressed the Tea party members and those that were protesting across the country on Tax Day by saying … “they should be saying thank you” because of the tax cuts he has signed into law.

Yes, the peasants should be thanking me and kissing my ring
What President of the United States mocks and makes fun of the people he serves? Do you ever remember a President being so flipped and condescending?
President Barack Obama struck a hyperpartisan note Thursday, telling Democrats that he was “amused” by the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.
Obama, addressing a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser in Miami, did little to endear himself to the Tea Party groups protesting around the country, saying “they should be saying thank you” because of the tax cuts he has signed into law.
The president went as far as to say that this week’s special election in Florida, which was won by Democrat Ted Deutch, was portrayed by Republicans as “a referendum on healthcare, a referendum on the stimulus.”
“And you know what, it was,” Obama said to applause.
Obama continued to dare Republicans to run on a platform of repealing healthcare reform, telling the audience “they won’t be very successful.”
Mock the Tea Party and We the People all you want Obama … We will Remember in November!
I am sure the Tea Party and Americans that disagree with the over taxing, out of control spending, record federal deficits and no jobs AMUSE YOU! I wonder just how amuzed you and your ilk will be come this November after the midterm elections? Think you will be laughing then President Obama? Or wondering what political tsunami just hit you?

Daily Commentary – Friday, April 16th, 2010 – Arizona Passes Tough Immigration Reform
- The new law would make it a crime under state law to be present in the United States without carrying proper documentation, and give the police power to stop and demand identification from anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant.

Pennsylvania Senate Election 2010: Republican Toomey 50%, Incumbent Democrat Specter 40%
Incumbent Arlen Specter in real trouble in the Keystone state.
Pat Toomey, Republican challenger to the US Pennsylvania Senate seat up big over incumbent Democrat Arlen Specter in the most recent Rasmussen poll. For the first time in the race, Toomey has gained 50% of the vote.
Republican hopeful Pat Toomey for the first time registers 50% support in his race against incumbent Democrat Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania’s contest for the U.S. Senate.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state shows Specter earning 40% of the vote, a level he’s held steady at since the first of the year. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
Where does Republican Toomey have a great advantage, with the independent or unaffiliated party voters. Like with so many political races and issues across the United States, Democrats and Obama have completely lost the independent vote.
Toomey leads both Democrats among male voters by nearly 20 points and edges them slightly among women. Among voters not affiliated with either party, he leads Specter by 31 points and Sestak by 21.
Across the baord, voters in the Keystone state are opposed to the policies of Obama and it is going to make it near impossible for Democrats like carrer politicians like Specter to over come it. A majority of voters in PA side more with the Tea Party than they do Barack Obama.
- Forty-one percent (41%) of Pennsylvania voters favor the requirement in the new health care plan that every American buy or obtain health insurance, with 24% who strongly favor it. Fifty-five percent (55%) oppose the requirement, including 42% who strongly oppose.
- Forty-seven percent (47%) support Pennsylvania’s lawsuit against the federal government challenging the constitutionality of that requirement, but 39% oppose the suit.
- Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters in the Keystone State say their views on the major issues of the day are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than those of Obama. Forty percent (40%) say their views are more like the president’s.
With the mood of the country against Democrats and Obama’s policies, look for Republicans to pick up the “Key” swing state Senate seat in 2010.

Slip, Sliding Away … Obama and Democrats Continue Downward Fall in Polls
Wow, what a shock Barack Obama and the Democrats slipping in yet another poll. The backlash and unpopular view against Barack Obama is now beginning to snowball and take on a life of its own. Remember when Obama said that it would just take a little while for the people to warm up to Obamacare? Opposition to Obamacare is rising and polls are now over 50% apposed.
President Barack Obama’s national standing has slipped to a new low after his victory on the historic health care overhaul, even in the face of growing signs of economic revival, according to the latest Associated Press-GfK poll.
The survey shows the political terrain growing rockier for Obama and congressional Democrats heading into midterm elections, boosting Republican hopes for a return to power this fall.
Just 49 percent of people now approve of the job Obama’s doing overall, and less than that — 44 percent — like the way he’s handled health care and the economy. Last September, Obama hit a low of 50 percent in job approval before ticking a bit higher. His high-water mark as president was 67 percent in February of last year, just after he took office.
The news is worse for other Democrats. For the first time this year, about as many Americans approve of congressional Republicans as Democrats — 38 percent to 41 percent — and neither has an edge when it comes to the party voters want controlling Congress. Democrats also have lost their advantage on the economy; people now trust both parties equally on that, another first in 2010.
Full polling roundup at Real Clear Politics, all bad for Dems.

The Obama Job Recovery Plan … New Jobless Claims Rise to 484K, Second Straight Week, Reach Highest Level Since February
Jobless Claims Rise to 484,000 First-Time Claims …
How is that Barack Obama job recovery plan working out for you America? Are you going to believe what comes out of Obama’s moth regarding job recovery or the facts and numbers in front of your lying eyes?
Jobless claims rise unexpectedly for second straight week.
The number of newly laid off people signing up for unemployment benefits rose sharply for the second straight week, suggesting that jobs are still hard to come by even as the economic recovery gains traction.
The Labor Department reported Thursday that first-time requests for jobless benefits rose by 24,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 484,000, the highest level since late February. Economists were predicting claims would fall.
It marked the second week that claims took an unexpected leap. In the prior week, claims rose by 18,000 to 460,000.
Hey America how is that Obama “Hopey, Changey” thing working out for you?
Great, tax day and bad job news. Thank you President Obama.
But there was still plenty of slack in the labor market. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits rose 24,000 to a seasonally adjusted 484,000 last week. A Labor Department official attributed the spike to a backlog in applications from the Easter holiday and saw no unusual economic factors.
