McCreight, a 22-year-old attending Purdue University in Indiana, is pushing women to bare their breast cleavage for a day to satirize Islamic cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi, who recently blamed earthquakes on immodest female clothing.

“Many women who do not dress modestly . . . lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which (consequently) increases earthquakes,” Sedighi told Iranian media on April 16.

Sedighi is Tehran’s acting Friday prayer leader.

Jen will be Tweeting and posting live pics during the day.

The LEFT has stated that many of us on the right are intolerant. Not so. Many who participate in the Tea Parties believe that all have the right to freedom of speech against their government in dissent. Such is the case with 24 year old Jen McCreight. She is a self-described atheist, feminist and geek “trapped in Indiana.” On many issues we probably have nothing in common, probably most … however, she has a right to protest and I must say I love her originality. A feminists who is actually making a stand against individuals who really do treat woman like property. Kudos!

Who knew that it was woman’s cleavage that caused earthquake? I must have missed that in my science classes growing up. Then again, I went to a school and took part in a religion that did not hate woman and treat them like cattle.

Al Sharpton Pledges to fight Arizona Illegal Immigrant Bill by Committing Civil Disobedience

It was only a matter of time before Al Sharpton came out of the wood work and interjected himself in the Arizona Illegal Immigration signed into law by AZ Gov. Jan Brewer.  When ever some one can exploit and interject racism into the national conservation, Al “Tawana Brawley” Sharpton can’t be too far behind.

The Reverand Al Sharpton has promised to cause trouble in the streets, organize protests and commit civil disobedience to challenge Arizona’s new immigration law.

The Rev. Al Sharpton says he will challenge Arizona’s new immigration bill in court and on the streets.

Sharpton is joining Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation to announce a legal challenge to the bill. They say activists are also prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight the Arizona immigration bill.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed the bill Friday. It requires police to question people about their immigration status — including asking for identification — if they suspect someone is in the country illegally.

Maybe the AZ police will ask Sharpton for proof of citizenship just to show that they are not merely targeting Mexicans. 70% of voters in Arizona approve of the new immigration law, while only 23% oppose it. That means nothing to folks like Sharpton and Obama. Once again we see the LEFT not listening to the will of the people.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, along with leaders from the National Action Network and the Hispanic Federation, announced that he will legally challenge the law.

The law “is an affront to the civil rights of all Americans and an attempt to legalize racial profiling,” Sharpton said in a statement after the bill’s signing Friday. “As one who helped to make racial profiling a national issue and who has in the last year visited Arizona several times to rally against these draconian immigration policies, I am calling for a coalition of civil rights organizations to work with those in Arizona to resist and overturn this state law.”

President Barack Obama recently called the law misguided. How come Obama does not say that such groups protesting the government amuse him? Just curious, with the amount of illegals that are in the country who have already broken the law and have benefited for the United States … protest, shouldn’t they say Thank you?

The illegal immigration subject just became front and center for the 2010 midterms, advantage GOP. By a 47% to 34% margin, voters trust Republicans on the subject of immigration more than Democrats.

NY Times Just Figuring Out Democrats Could Lose Congress in November Midterms

Who says that the New York Times, the Old Gray Lady is not up on their current affairs? This weekends article, “Democrats’ Long-Held Seats Face G.O.P. Threat”, the NY Times finally figures out that the GOP not only threatens long time Democrat seats, but they also may take over control of the Congress in this November’s midterm elections.

Wow, go figure … Welcome to the party pal, the Tea Party that is. Glad to see they finally coming out of denial and are admitting the inevitable. Because you know LEFT, admission is the first step. The MSM has been demonizing the Tea Parties and their criticisms of government. Has the NY Times finally seen the light?

Representative David R. Obey has won 21 straight races, easily prevailing through wars and economic crises that have spanned presidencies from Nixon’s to Obama’s. Yet the discontent with Washington surging through politics is now threatening not only his seat but also Democratic control of Congress.

Mr. Obey is one of nearly a dozen well-established House Democrats who are bracing for something they rarely face: serious competition. Their predicament is the latest sign of distress for their party and underlines why Republicans are confident of making big gains in November and perhaps even winning back the House.

The fight for the midterm elections is not confined to traditional battlegrounds, where Republicans and Democrats often swap seats every few cycles. In the Senate, Democrats are struggling to hold on to, among others, seats once held by President Obama and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. Democrats are preparing to lose as many as 30 House seats — including a wave of first-term members — and Republicans have expanded their sights to places where political challenges seldom develop.

Democrats are preparing to lose 30 House seats. Well, so much for that denial I guess. Hardly, the way the mood of the country is, the loses for Democrats probably start at 35 to 40. Across the country Democrats find them self in real trouble. Blue Dog Democrats in the South are either retiring or find them self out of favor with the voters. Republicans and middle of the road independents realize that a vote for a Democrat is a vote for liberal Nancy Pelosi.

The article in Real Clear Politics, “How Bad Could 2010 Really Get For Democrats,” asks the question whether Democrats could lose 70, 80 or 90 seats. The polling data for Democrats is horrific, as Michael Barone calls this the worst polling environment for Democrats “during my 50 years of following politics closely. The Rasmussen Generic Ballot poll has Republicans up by 10%, an almost unheard of advantage. The bad economy, unemployment near 10%, President Obama’s job approval rating declining and the controversial agenda like Obamacare at an all time low, all spell disaster for Democrats. The polling data is so bad, if Republicans don’t will the House it would be considered a loss.

Representative Pete Sessions of Texas, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, said he would consider anything short of taking back the House a failure. Republicans say they have not recruited strong candidates in all districts, but both parties agree that Republicans are within reach of capturing the 40 additional seats needed to win control. Republicans also are likely to eat into the Democratic majority in the Senate, though their prospects of taking control remain slim.

For Republicans to take control of the US Senate they would need some races to break right; however, the GOP does stand to make significant gains.  I would tend to disagree with the NY Times map of Senate races as many of which they claim are leaning Democrat like PA, are more so leaning Republican.  With the mood of the country as such, the economy not looking to turn around by November, the electorate still upset over Obamacare and angered further by the recent news that Obamacare will increase costs, Republicans most likely will capture the toss up states and stand to pick up 8 to 9 Senate seats.

Republicans lead in the NY Times so-called vulnerable Senate seats of MO, NH, KY and OH. In the case of New Hampshire and Kentucky, the GOP candidate has a double digit lead. In Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, North Dakota, Indiana and Colorado, it is not a matter if Republicans win, but when. Even Barack Obama’s own former seat has a Republican in the lead in the polls. How bad is it for Democrats? Even Barbra Boxer is in the fight for her political life in California.

In the Senate, Republicans also are looking to make major gains, though their hopes of winning control were set back when Tommy Thompson, a former Wisconsin governor, decided against challenging Mr. Feingold, who is seeking a fourth term. Democrats control the Senate by 59 to 41 seats.

To win the majority, Republicans would essentially have to run the table in races across the country: fending off Democratic challenges to four vulnerable Republican seats in Kentucky, Missouri, New Hampshire and Ohio, and capturing 10 seats now held by Democrats. Even in this climate, Republican officials concede that an error-free year is unlikely. Republicans appear to have a shot at winning races in Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Dakota and Pennsylvania.

They would also have to pick up the seats of decidedly more entrenched — though not unbeatable — incumbents, like Senators Barbara Boxer of California or Patty Murray of Washington.

Remember in November is the battle cry. If one asks the Magic 8 Ball if Democrats will suffer damaging political loses and more than the average number of seats of a first term President … Signs point to Yes.

Juan Williams defended government picking and choosing the emails from Goldman Sachs that were leaked to the liberal MSM by Democrat Levin’s committee. Bret Michaels, Poison Lead Singer, in Critical Condition after Brain Hemorrhage

Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison, is in critical condition after what is being reported as a brain hemorrhage.  The 47 year old Michaels is currently is contestant on the reality TV show, The Celebrity Apprentice; however, is known to millions as the front man and lead singer for the band Poison.

Get well soon Bret, I admit it … I am a closet Poison fan. Oh the 1980′s, how we miss them.

Bret Michaels is in critical condition suffering from a brain hemorrhage, his publicist said Friday.

Joann Mignano, Michaels’ New York-based publicist, confirmed a report on People magazine’s website that said the former Poison frontman was rushed to intensive care late Thursday after a severe headache. The report said doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

He is reported to have had a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a bleeding at the base of the brain stem.

Bret Michaels remains in ICU in critical condition. His Facebook page has an update on his condition.

According to an entry on Bret Michaels Facebook page, he remains in ICU in critical condition. The source says, “We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.

UPDATE I: Michaels dad says that he has stabilized after suffering brain hemorrhage

“I’m certainly worried, it’s not a minor thing. I hope he’s hanging in there” Michaels’ dad, Wallace Sychak, told The News.

“We were told he’s stabilized and doing as well as can be expected,” he said.

Although Sychak didn’t know exactly where his son was, he said Bret’s friends told him “he’s in Arizona in a hospital with really good neurosurgeons.” Donald Trump, the host of NBC’s “Apprentice” franchise, said he was “deeply saddened to hear about Bret Michaels. … My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. He’s a great competitor and champion and I hope he will be fine.”

Others as well are reporting that Bret Michaels  is awake and in good spirits.  TMZ.com is also reporting it as well.

Tornadoes Hit Mississippi & Southeast, 9 Killed & Many Injured in Yazoo City, MS

All day Saturday weather forecasters put people on notice in the Southeast of severe weather and the potential for dangerous rail, hail and tornadoes. A tornado touched down in Yazoo City, MS, about 40 miles north of Jackson that caused much damage, destruction, death and injury.

Sadly this morning officials are raising the death toll to 9, including 2-3 children.

Mississippi official say the death toll has risen to nine from a devastating tornado that flattened homes and businesses in the state. More than a dozen others have been injured.

Mississippi Emergency Management Agency spokesman Greg Flynn said five people were killed in Choctaw County, 3 in Yazoo County and 1 in Holmes County. No names have been released and details are not available.

Two of those dead in Choctaw county are children.

Gov. Haley Barbour told The Associated Press there was “utter obliteration” in parts of Yazoo County, an area where he is from. More than 15 other counties were also damaged.

Rescue workers dig through the rubble and devastation left in the path of the tornadoes that hit Mississippi on Saturday. Reports now state that there are up to 10 people dead.

The tornado struck at least 13 counties, destroying scores of homes and trapping people inside, damaging businesses, blocking highways and knocking out power to thousands, said the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency.

Five people died in Choctaw County, four in Yazoo County and one in Holmes County, said Greg Flynn, spokesman at the agency.

Governor Haley Barbour declared a state of emergency after the first major U.S. tornado of the year.

“It has done huge damage around Yazoo City,” Barbour, who grew up in the city, told CBS television.

“We have fatalities, a number of people that we’re still trying to rescue who are trapped in buildings. But it is a major, significant tornado … and it did some huge damage and perhaps some fatalities north of here,” Barbour said.

Is the Left really this desperate? Is Scherer just trying to see how far he can dupe the Left into spreading such a ridiculous meme? I would venture the majority of TEA Party participants might vaguely recognize the name “Guy Fawkes” but not immediately recall the history. And Scherer makes his case for the Republican Governors “call to violence” from focusing more on how Fawkes’ story was adapted for the graphic novel turned into movie V for Vendetta — for most TEA Party participants, that itself would be even further from their attention.

The LEFT is so hell-bent on comparing anyone who would dare oppose Obama, the Democrats and their socialist policies as terrorists. It is a tired, lame and self-defeating approach. It is quite a stretch that this video would some how allude to anti-government British terrorist Guy Fawkes. A stretch indeed.

It can explain why independents have run from Obama and the Democrat party. People are sick of being demonized because they are the voice of dissent against Barack Obama. A dissenting public might I add that represents a majority of Americans.

60% of Americans Say Capitalism is Better than Socialism

60% of Americans believe that capitalism is better than socialism while 18% believe living in Cuba or Venezuela would be better. Sadly, there are 21% who are so clueless that they cannot differentiate between the two.

Only 43% of Democrats think that capitalism is better than socialism. What has happened to this party? Is there any wonder why independents and those not affiliated with any party have run away from the Democrat party.

Sixty percent (60%) of U.S. adults nationwide say that capitalism is better than socialism. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 18% disagree, while 21% are not sure.

Adults under 30 are closely divided on the question. While Republicans and unaffiliated voters overwhelmingly say that capitalism is better, just 43% of Democrats agree. Twenty-four percent (24%) of Democrats say socialism is better.

These polls should be worrisome for Obama and Democrats who thrive on the notion that big government  is the answer to all problems.

Last year at this time, among all adults, only 53% said capitalism was better.

In fact, despite tepid support for capitalism, 77% of Americans prefer a free market economy rather than a government.

Republicans on Obamacare … We Told You So, Govt Releases Numbers on Obamacare Costs

So many times we and on our other sites write about crimes and True crime stories with regards to individuals committing crimes against others. How about when your government commits a crime against WE THE PEOPLE. The following with regards to Obamacare and the skyrocketing costs that were never reported to the People are truly CRIMINAL!

Democrats and President Obama rammed health care through against the will of the people. Democrat Speaker of the House went so far as to say that “we have to pass the bill to find out what was in it”.

SURPRISE! Obamacare increases health care costs, not lower them as Obama promised. However, this is no surprise to Republicans, they had been telling the American people that from the beginning the ills of Obamacare reform.

We are going to spend more on health care as a nation, not less.

What did the report say from the Medicare and Medicaid actuaries say:

• About 14 million people would lose their employer based health coverage by 2019 as smaller employers terminate coverage and workers who currently have employer coverage become enrolled in Medicaid because it will be cheaper to pay the fine than insure them.
• Medical costs will skyrocket rising $389 billion 10 years.
• 21 Million of Americans will still be left without health insurance, the very people who should have been targeted in the first place.
• 18 million Americans will be dumped on to an already burdened Medicaid system. Medicaid reimburses so little that many doctors will never participate with Medicaid and thus those forced into CAID will have limited care.
• Medicare cuts will be deeper than previously expected from $475 billion to $575 billion.
• The actuaries also note that the Medicare cuts are counted twice in Obama’s fuzzy math, once to extend the life of Medicare and then to pay for new subsidies for insurance entitlement program.
• 4 million families will be hit with tax penalties who fail to get health insurance.

Remember what President Barack Obama said … reform was supposed to get health care costs under control. Guess what, Obamacare does not.

After all is said and done, 21 million people, the poorest of the poor will still be without health insurance. These are the very people that supposedly Obamacare was supposed to help. So America, do you still think Obamacare was about reform … or government control?

There is a reason why so many people were against the Democrat health care reform and many more want to repeal it. However, the state run MSM ran cover for Obama and Democrats all during the debates and labeled Republicans as the “Party of No”.

Looks like Republicans were the Party of … We are warning you America, be wary of Obamacare.
