Majority of Americans Now Disapprove (51% to 46%) of Barack Obama in CNN Poll

President Barack Obama has truly hit the skids. For the first time with CNN polling, The Obamamessiah now sees himself with a majority of Americans disapproving of his job as President. 51% now disapprove of Obama while only 46% approve.

For the first time, a CNN poll has found that a majority of Americans disapprove of President Obama’s job performance.

According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday, 51 percent of respondents disapprove of Obama’s job performance and 46 percent approve of it.

Obama’s approval rating has dropped steadily each month since December, when it was 54 percent. His highest approval rating in a CNN poll was 76 percent in February 2009 shortly after he took office.

The full polling results can be seen HERE.

Just one short year ago Obama saw himself with a 64% approval ratings while only 34$ disapproved. My how the mighty have fallen. Or is it that We the People have wizened up and seen this President for what his really is?

As for his handling of the economy, 54% of Americans disapprove while only 43% approve. On health care, 58% disapprove while only 40% approve.  We ask you America, “how are you feeling abount that hopey, changey stuff” that Obama promised?

Hot Air has more regarding this history making President. Remember, just because some thing is historic, does not mean that it isn’t historically bad. Tell me, does anything that Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the underhanded deals that the Democrats did feel anything remotely like  Civil Rights? Hardly.

The fact that Obama, Pelosi and Reid just rammed health care government take over down the throats of Americans against their will can only further weaken Obama’s poll numbers. To make matters worse, Obama is going to go on a health care gloat PR tour and tell you that he just defied the will of the American people, but you should like it any how.

See you in November Democrats at the polls.

This is so disrespectful toward our president. Why do people have to call him Obamamessiah? That is so ignorant. When people I respect, like you, resort to this kind of name-calling, it’s depressing. What has happened to our country?

Why don’t you write an article about how Tea Party protesters shouted “Kill the nigger!” at Rep. John Lewis. Lewis was one of the most pivotal figures of the civil rights movement in the 1960s. He spoke alongside the Rev. Martin Luther King at the Lincoln Memorial during the “I Have a Dream” speech. And Alabama State Police fractured the congressman’s skull as he led a march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on what became known as “Bloody Sunday” in 1965.

“It’s okay, I’ve faced this before,” said Lewis about the incident. “I haven’t heard anything like this in 40, 45 years. Since the march to Selma, really.”

I think his rating will rise again when people begin to realize the benefits for their own families – imagine babies and children being denied healthcare because they are born with medical problems. Pro health care is Pro Life. I believe Our Lord Jesus Christ was pro health care – he restored sight to the blind, healed the crippled, cured the lepers and raised Lazurus from the dead.

Obama doesn’t care if he is a one-term president. Unlike past presidents, he isn’t anglging for political theater, he is genuinely trying to improve this country. He would rather make some important changes in 1 term than do nothing (or in Bush’s case, harm) in 2 terms.

There is so much disinformation about the latest health bill that it’s no wonder his ratings took a hit. The fact of the matter is, this bill will do good for the majority of americans. It will drive down costs since noninsured people wont just go to the emergency room when sick. It will drive down premiums since the insurance companies will have 30 million more customers. It will drive down costs with the development of exchanges to pool together insurance buying power.

Would you like to explain where you get your information?

Government controlled anything is never the answer. The government has no business making decisions about our healthcare. PERIOD!

If this is such a great bill then why is Congress exempt from it? Why did it take back room meetings, bribes & threats to get it passed? And don’t bother with the Republicans held up the vote when we all know that the Democrats have the majority in the House & the Senate. This is not what this Country needs in the middle of a recession.

We (taxpayers) are going to have to foot the bill for this. This is absolutely not the right thing to do.

      It is un-Constitutional.

#1 Respect is earned. He hasn’t earned any respect. Chicago style politics do not belong in the White House. The democrats are the one’s that started the whole Obamamessiah garbage.

How much respect did GWB receive?

    8. nancyK9 on March 23rd, 2010 11:08 am

Yes Buster, you are correct sir, Kenya has enjoyed universal coverage for years.

    9. Lenny on March 23rd, 2010 11:44 am

Anything that’s GOOD for the American public is considered BAD by the Party of No.

That includes healthcare, public transit, worker and consumer protections, environmental action…

      the list is endless.

      The GOP is history. Toast.

Government controlled ANYTHING is not the answer? Sorry, I don’t view the world in such black in white ways. Are you saying we shouldn’t have a government agency to ensure that their isn’t excess lead in our children’s toys? Are you saying that government shouldn’t create an agency to monitor pollution? Are you saying government shouldn’t have intervened to give slaves and women equal voting rights?

Government isn’t controlling healthcare. They aren’t making decisions on what care you get. If you have the money, you can get whatever care you want. This bill fixes a broke system, protects the consumer from insurance companies (who ARE the ones controlling your healthcare right now – as someone who works in the medical field).

You are ALREADY paying for other peoples healthcare. When an uninsured person goes to the emergency room, who do you think is paying for it? YOU. And that is the most expensive type of care.

    11. Scott on March 23rd, 2010 12:29 pm

Carla – go get your free healthcare you liberal puke…it’s funny how liberals forget the name-calling and terrible stuff said about President Bush. Why don’t you look yourself in the mirror you disgusting person?

Lenny…keep drinking the kool-aide you non-intelligent ignorant liberal. You have no idea what is good for America. If it were good for America then why do Americans OVERWHEMINGLY do not want this? You’re an idiot of the grandiost proportions. The party of NO. Yep sure. 34 Dems voted against it and the other were BOUGHT, plain and simple. This day will live in infamy. Why did Scott Brown win if the GOP is toast, Bob McDonnell in Virginia if the GOP is toast.

The 2010 elections are written on the wall…the DEMS will lose the House and possibly the Senate, mark it down, it will happen. People are pissed, you know the Independents that voted him in.

Jupiter – that names fits you because you as so out in the left field it’s not even funny. Another kool-aide drinker with the typical liberal talking points?

Care to back your claim about lower premiums (which if you read the bill you p***k, you’d see they would be raised) Where do you get your ignorant logic? Out of a cracker jack box? You can’t read, so I know you didn’t read the bill.

His ratings took a hit? LOL. They are nose diving like a downed plane…PERIOD. A hit? You’re a tool!

You are too stupid to know that if these people who don’t pay into the system or non-insured; they can go down to the state and fill out the papers to get medical aid and it’s FREE for them, even covers them on hospital visits; AND most of them don’t want it.

It will NOT drive down premiums; not one bit. Insurance companies are not going to lower their premiums because there are 30 million, actually really like 7m, taking out the illegals and non payers. Care to share how that proves true. In fact it will work the opposite. In order for these insurance companies to pay the increase in their taxes, etc, in order to pay for these, they will increase their premiums to those that actually pay for insurance so they can afford to pay for these so called non-insured people. LOL! It’s called common sense and logic, of which, liberals have NONE!

You are the one with the misnomers out there. Come with something of your own besides the lifted talking points from your puke liberals buddies.

    12. Michelle Smith on March 23rd, 2010 1:43 pm

I said Government Control, I didn’t say Government Regulation. There is nothing wrong with regulating the insurance companies, the banks, etc. etc. but the government should not be allowed total control. The governments job is to collect taxes, protect us from enemies, and not infringe on our right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.

I know I am already paying for others who are uninsured, but I will be paying even more now, because every person with a runny nose will go to the doctor and get treatment and I’m paying for it. Tell me how this bill will not cost the taxpayers more money? No one is refused treatment at a hospital for not having insurance. This is going to make insurance higher for those who work and can pay for it for those that can’t or don’t because insurance companies are going to be obsolete when all the mandates are handed down or will be so expensive, no one can afford it. I think there needs to be regulation but not total control.

I don’t have a problem with my insurance company. I go to the doctor, I pay my co-pay and what the insurance doesn’t cover I pay for myself.

This is not healthcare reform, this is government takeover. Read the bill and tell me where it states that I can keep my current coverage at no additional cost to me or my family. Where does it say that we can use any doctor or hospital we want? How many doctors do you know that will not accept Medicare or Medicaid anymore? Do you think they will accept this plan any better than the other plans that are government run.

    13. Michelle Smith on March 23rd, 2010 1:52 pm

      Lenny

And the list is endless of people wanting to leech off the hard working taxpayers of this country. People who think they are entitled something for nothing. People who don’t contribute to society but are a burden. Illegals who come to this Country everyday to reap the benefits of this Great Nation. If Socialized Healthcare is so great then why is Congress exempting themselves from participating in it? If Socialized Medicine is so great in other countries why are so many coming here for medical care? You have the food police wanting to ban fast food places because people are obese and are a burden on the taxpayers because of their health, so now the government wants to insure these people at my expense. What’s the difference? It’s about control, plain & simple. They don’t care about our health, they care about how much control they can take. When you have to wait in lines for hours to see a doctor or wait months to get an appointment to see a doctor, you will understand. I’m sick of hearing people say “finally I’m going to get free healthcare”.

What makes the government think they know what’s best for America? They are going against the majority of the Will of the People. The very people that elected them to their positions.

So tell me why we should be happy about being lied to, deceived & flat out ignored?

If “WE” thought this was good for America, we would be in agreement with it. We don’t think it is and therefore are opposed to it.
