86 Year Old Democrat US New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg Diagnosed with Stomach Cancer
86 year old U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg from New Jersey has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Lautenberg had been taken to the hospital last week hospitalized last week with a bleeding ulcer
U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, New Jersey’s 86-year-old senior senator, was diagnosed with treatable cancer in the stomach in the last 24 hours and will begin chemotherapy today.
The Democrat still plans to finish out his current term – his fifth in the Senate – and seek re-election in 2014.
“This doesn’t change any of that,” Lautenberg’s chief aide, Dan Katz, said of the senator’s political plans. “After he receives his treatment, back to normal.”
Hope & Change: Las Vegas Mayor Goodman Rejects Barack Obama Invitation, Harry Reid Looks For Obama’s Campaign Help
Here is some Hope & Change you can believe in …
The Mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar Goodman, has refused an invitation to meet with President Obama who is in Las Vegas to host a town hall meeting. Goodman called President Barack Obama after his NH Town Hall meeting where The One once again dissed Las Vegas and told people not to visit there.

Not every one is so welcoming of The One
Obama said that people should not “blow a bunch of cash in Vegas” during a tough recession. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman called for Obama to apologize after he made comparable comments last February.
“When times are tough, you tighten your belts,” he said at the forum.” You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You don’t blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you’re trying to save for college.”
So what would any common sense Mayor do in a case when a President not once, but twice attacks your city … tell him to kiss off, that’s what.
“I’ve got other things to do quite frankly for my constituents here in Las Vegas who rely on me to do the right thing as a mayor,” explained Mayor Goodman.
Mayor Goodman has more important things like attend budget meetings during a major shortfall than meet with President Barack Obama. That rejection comes even though he’s invited by the White House.

Pilot (Andrew Stack) Crashes Plane into Austin, TX Building in Suicide Act Angered at the IRS
It started out as a bizarre story of a plane reported crashed into an office building in Austin, TX … then it became even more strange.

The first thought of many was this an act of terrorism? Was the plane intentionally crashed into the building? Then it became apparent that it was a act be a single individual with an axe to grind with the IRS. 53 year old Joseph Stack, an software engineer who crashed his single engine Piper Cherokee plane into the federal office building that contains the IRS at the Echelon 1 building in the 9400 block of Research Boulevard.
A pilot furious with the Internal Revenue Service crashed his small plane into an Austin, Texas, office building where nearly 200 federal tax employees work on Thursday, igniting a raging fire that sent massive plumes of thick, black smoke rising from the seven-story structure.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said the incident was a single act by a sole individual, who appeared to be targeting the federal building. He refused to classify it as terrorism.
“I call it a cowardly, criminal act and there was no excuse for it,” Acevedo said at a news conference.
More pics can be seen HERE.
In a bizarre act of going out in a blaze of glory, a disgruntled Andrew Stack posted a 6 page suicide manifesto directed at the government and the IRS declaring that, “I know I’m hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand.” His on-line rant was entitled,“Well Mr. Big Brother IRS man… take my pound of flesh and sleep well.”
53 year old Andrew Joseph Stack’s 6 page manifesto can be read HERE. It would appear that Stack just snapped from decades of IRS problems.
As government agencies go, the FAA is often justifiably referred to as a tombstone agency, though they are hardly alone. The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government. Nothing changes unless there is a body count (unless it is in the interest of the wealthy sows at the government trough). In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws.
I know I’m hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand. It has always been a myth that people have stopped dying for their freedom in this country, and it isn’t limited to the blacks, and poor immigrants. I know there have been countless before me and there are sure to be as many after. But I also know that by not adding my body to the count, I insure nothing will change. I choose to not keep looking over my shoulder at “big brother” while he strips my carcass, I choose not to ignore what is going on all around me, I choose not to pretend that business as usual won’t continue; I have just had enough. (snip)
Sadly, there have been two bodies found inside the building where Stack crashed his songle engine plane on his suicide mission. The identities of the two dead people have not been confirmed. Also, two other people who were injured in the incident were taken to a hospital, and 11 others were treated for minor injuries, according to Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo.
The Corner reacts to Stack’s manifesto and what the LEFT will soon be referring to this as the Tea Bag Terrorist; however, Stack does not seem to fit the mode or thinking at all.
UPDATE I: Just when you thought the story could not get any more bizarre, it appears that Joseph Stack set his house on fire prior to his suicide mission with his wife and step daughter still in the home. Folks, some times people are just plain crazy and sadly pushed over their breaking point.
Austin Fire Department confirmed Thursday at 8:20 p.m. that two bodies had been found inside the building, but could not confirm their identities.

UPDATE I: Family Guy’ Voice Actor (Andrea Fay Friedman,) Says Palin ‘Does Not Have a Sense of Humor’
One person who supports the “Family Guy” staff is Andrea Fay Friedman, the 39-year-old actor and public speaker who played Ellen in that episode. Like the character, Ms. Friedman also has Down syndrome.
In an e-mail message sent on Thursday to The New York Times, Ms. Friedman wrote:
I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line “I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska” was very funny. I think the word is “sarcasm.”
In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life.
How sad that once an actor, no matter who they are or what their disability is becomes a mind-numb product of the Hollywood system and will do and say anything for a buck.
Gee Ms. Friedman, do you also think that kicking puppies, knocking down old people and kicking the crutches out from poeple is funny too? What because you have Downs Syndrome, you think that gives you the right to make fun of other with Down’s? You poor warped, sad individual.
How come the Times did not print the entire email, The Gawker did. Notice something missing from The Times?
I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line “I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska” was very funny. I think the word is “sarcasm.”
In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.
This is how insane the moonbat LEFT is. An individual with Downs is willing to throw other disabled Downs under the bus because of the political party that their parents are affiliated with. SICK!!!
UN Climate Chief Yvo de Boer Gets Out of Dodge
Yvo de Boer, the UN Climate chief has announced that he will step down from his position in July 2010. But of course this has nothing to do with the recent global warming scandal and the total and complete failure of the recent Copenhagen Convention where is you were to believe the global warming propagandists, all they accomplished was to increase the global warming carbon footprint, not decrease it.
The U.N. climate chief Yvo de Boer has resigned to join a consultancy group as an adviser, the U.N. climate secretariat said on Thursday, two months after a disappointing Copenhagen summit.
De Boer will step down on July 1 to join KPMG, the U.N. framework convention on climate change (UNFCCC) said in a statement. He has led the agency since 2006.
“It was a difficult decision to make, but I believe the time is ripe for me to take on a new challenge, working on climate and sustainability with the private sector and academia,” de Boer said in the statement.
The decision was probably ripe to get out of dodge in the wake of the growing skepticism of global warming scientists claims, global warming propagandists scandals, and misinformation. Maybe Al Gore will have a new job?
Unexpectedly? First Time Claims for Unemployment Benefits Rise by 31K
Wow, nothing like some factual job numbers to disprove the Presidents claims that his trillion dollar stimulus plan worked.
The economic numbers are out this morning and they are not good. The number of newly laid-off workers filing applications for unemployment benefits surged last week to 31,000 after having fallen sharply in the previous week. It was reported as “unexpected”. Unexpected to who? Does any one not really think that there are a wealth of people out there who are unemployed who have not just yet filed? It is just like the unemployment number. You cannot continue to lose jobs every month and have the % decrease.
Any one who thinks that the job hiring situation is getting better in America is sorely mistaken.
One Year Anniversary of Trillion Dollar Stimulus, Obama Applauds as Success … Where are the Jobs?
The One Year Anniversary of the $787 billion jobs bill … how’s the “hopee, changee” thing doing for you?
It was the one year anniversary of the Obama/Democrat $787 billion stimulus package that was supposed to keep unemployment at 8% and create so many shovel ready jobs. The only thing that appeared to be “shovel ready” was Obama and his minions rhetoric.
A note to America … you know when you know that a government spending plan that promises to create jobs is an abject failure? When you have to be told just how good a plan it is and the successes of the plan by the people who gave you the plan.
That is exactly what Barack Obama and his minions did yesterday as they spread out across the country to tell unemployed Americans just how great Obama’s $787 billion spending plan was for job. Americans know just what an EPIC FAILURE this bill was and for Obama and his band of merry men to claim the benefits of this colossal disaster only further proves why his poll numbers have tanked and the people do not trust Obama on the economy.
Obama, in a White House speech, said he believed the stimulus will save or create 1.5 million jobs in 2010 after saving or creating as many as 2 million jobs thus far.
His point was to show that the stimulus, while admittedly unpopular, had the effect of keeping the U.S. economy from plunging into a second Great Depression.
House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) – “Today’s anniversary of the Democrats’ trillion-dollar ‘stimulus’ marks one year of broken promises, bloated government, and wasteful spending.”
“Where are the jobs?”
The Gateway Pundit has more of Republican Whip Eric Cantor list of top 12 lowlights from the Democrat Stimulus bill from this past year. Think your hard earned tax dollars were well spent on this pork barrel spending bill disguised as a jobs stimulus bill? Check out what your money was spent on. Here are just a couple of gems.
6. Did You Save 30 Seconds On Your Last Trip Through Thedford, Nebraska? $7 million in taxpayer stimulus funds are being used to build a bridge in Thedford, Nebraska. The purpose of the bridge? Helping 168 residents avoid a 30 second wait at a local train crossing.
12. At Least You Can Skateboard While Your Town Goes Bankrupt The city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, which has a $5.2 million school budget deficit and about a $4.8 million municipal deficit and has eliminated about 40 city jobs so far this year, announced that they will spend $550,000 in federal stimulus money to construct a skateboard park at a local school, because it is “shovel-ready.”

More Global Warming, Lake Erie Frozen Over, First Time in 14 Years … More People Cast Doubt on Man Made Global Warming
According to the most recent Rasmussen poll, 47% of Americans now blame Global Warming on planetary trends and not man. Only 35% believe that it is caused by man’s activity. What does this mean, the science is much in question that has blamed man for the earth’s fever.

There’s nothing political about global warming now is there?
Belief that human activity is the primary cause of global warming has declined significantly. In April 2008, the numbers were nearly the mirror image of the current numbers. At that time, 47% blamed human activity and only 34% named long term planetary trends as the reason for climate change.
Since July, the number who believe long-term planetary trends are the chief culprit have ranged from 47% to 50%. Those who blame human activity have ranged from 34% to 42% in the same period.
Is it any wonder that people are not casting doubt on man made global warming in the wake of the scandals from the global warming scientist crowd?
Even global warming expert Professor Phil Jones admitted this weekend that there has been no significant global warming in the last 15 years.
Looks an awful lot like they have some major global warming going on at the Great Lakes. For the first time in 14 years Lake Erie is frozen over. No wonder the Al Gore’s and other global waring agendists want to change the name to “climate change“. The global warming crowd would say that a frozen lake has nothing to do with global warming. Of course if it had no ice on it what-so-ever, that would be indicative of global warming.
With only 35% of people still believing that man is the cause of global warming, Obama finds himself once again on the wrong side of an issue as he still looks to push his climate change agenda of Cap & Tax that will further harm the US economy.
