Dana … thank you. You certainly take the high road. I could not sooo … I have revealed very little in regards to my personal thoughts on the current Paulus van der Sloot topic encompassing his death.

      O/T

Hey Dana … so you can be prepared the next time you have Tim Miller as a guest on your show …I am submitting a million questions for you to ask him … questions pertaining to the happenings encompassing the Persistence undertaking in Aruban water to locate the remains of Natalee Holloway.

I cannot comprehend why the cage/trap was afforded unchallanged on January 7, 2008 to the Aruba enemy … the Aruba enemy who has prevented justice from prevailing since May 30, 2005.

“I hope that the Persistence has not done all of this work and gone to all of this expense only to have gotten itself into an arrangement whereby Aruban divers are the ones who actually verify the targets and are the first ones to physically retrieve evidence, with no American divers physically with them. If so, all I can say is I just can’t believe this has happened. But surely I am wrong.”

Dana … the knot has come loose. Will it be just be a matter of time until the three cords unravel.

      LOVING NATALEE – BETH HOLLOWAY

Page 149: My arms rest on top of the investigation notebook I carry with me all the time. Natalee’s reward poster with her picture on it is inside the front clear cover, in plain view. Paulus’ arms are on the table. Our knuckles are only inches apart. His arms are shaking. His fists are clenched.

“You’re responsible for Aruba being trapped in hell,” I tell him, still calm. “You can change that. But Aruba will stay in a perpetual state of hell until you come forward.” …

Page 150-151: Pulling a couple of prayer bracelets out of my pocket. I offer them to the van der Sloots. First I tie one on Anita’s arm, then ask Paulus if he would like one. He lifts his clench-fisted arm, shaking as if he has Parkinson’s disease, and tries very hard to hold it up. What a pathetic form of a man he is, I think — a very different person from the one who stood so brazenly in his front yard in the wee hours that first morning facing down Aruban police and our men from home. I take my time tying the bracelet, very, very slowly, and explain the meaning of the three cords of yarn.

“Paulus, this bracelet stands for a Bible verse. It’s Ecclesiasties 4:12. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” I finish the tying and gently pat the knot. “There you go.”

And right then the bracelet looks different to me. I see the three cords as the suspects, and the knot at the end holding them together as Paulus. It’s not just clear — it’s crystal clear. There are potentially four people who know what happened to Natalee. WE NEED THE KNOT TO COME LOOSE AND THE THREE CORDS TO UNRAVEL.

      THE PERSISTENCE ENDEAVOR

      Private Eye – Scared Monkeys

“If I understood Kyle correctly, and that would be that the Arubans retrieved and possessed all finds, not sharing anything with the crew, then that effort was a waste of time and effort. The only thing it could have accomplished was to locate additional evidence for the Arubans to destroy. I am not sure if that was the protocol out of Aruba’s waters though. The effort was superb, but the game was fixed.”

    6. Deetch on February 15th, 2010 2:05 pm

With the most respect, I have to disagree with your thought that making fun of Paulus van der sloot is somehow hypocritical and unsavory.

In general, your words are true. But in this instance where bringing justice is our priority, we can’t let being considered low class prevent the possible truth from coming forth. I know my own soul and stooping to being low rent by mocking the death of who I think is the actual murderer and rapist, is easy if for by the slight chance someone who knows the truth will say they don’t want to be mocked, but praised for coming forth.

Things look alot different when your on death’s door. You very fairly and poetically remember your father, and learned from what he left behind.

Respecting Paulus van der sloot in death will only enable a psychopathic son to confuse the meaning, and wreak havoc on himself or someone else. Isn’t that obvious?

Maybe it’s because we respect death and life so much that shaming someone who wasted theirs and took Natalee’s is entirely appropriate.

    7. Anna on February 15th, 2010 2:16 pm

Good morning, Dana! Thanks for your comments. No flak from me. I understand what you are saying. However. . .(heh, heh) the circumstances of the death of this man are not at all the usual. We have seen and heard some of the most awful things said about Natalee Holloway and her death imaginable and some of us just lack the maturity and self-control to refrain from responding in kind.

Personally for me, I couldn’t help but compare and contrast what was done when Paulus collapsed and what Joran said he did when Natalee did the same.

Why call an ambulance for Paulus and a disposal boat for Natalee? It’s hard not to think of those things.

In a perfect world, we would all exercise dignity and decorum at all times but in this one we fail and all short much of the time. At least, I have not seen anything said about Paulus that even comes close to the things said about Natalee’s demise from his supporters. Maybe the supporters should have thought about all this when they were disrespecting Natalee so viciously.

Appreciate your comments nonetheless and best always to you,

      Anna

    8. Darla on February 15th, 2010 2:20 pm

Well said Dana. Prayers for you and your sister. God Bless!

    9. Dawg1948 on February 15th, 2010 3:20 pm

I understand your concern about making fun of Paulus’ death, however I do not fully agree. He got what he sewed in my opinion, and as far as death being tragic I don’t totally agree. Death is sad for the individual and the family, but it is the end of life as we know it, but the beginning of the life of ones soul. Therefore, death is bittersweet but should actulally be celebrated as the beginning of ones life in a far better place than our earthly existance. In Paulus’ case I think you are right his death is tragic, because I don’t think our father in heaven will welcome this man with open arms. I think he will find eternal agony for his part in Natalee’s disappearance and the cover up that occured.

As for you on the loss of your father and the terminal illness of your sister I am sorry for you and your family and your sister’s family. I lost my father in 1976 when he was only 51. He still lives in my heart and I would never think of bringing him back to the man made hell we have in this world from the Glorious world he is now in.

In short Paulus van der Sloot made his choices, now the Creator will make his, and I don’t think it the Creator will be kind or lenient to Mr. van der Sloot, but rather just. Justice can be very sobering to the unrepentent sinner and that is what we apparently have in this case. I neither rejoice nor grieve this man’s passing. I will not miss him for he created his own fate the punishment for which I will leave where it belongs in the hands of our Creator.

Thank you Dana the comments of some here regarding the death of Paul van der Sloot made me sick.

Glad you’ve put things in perspective and set some here straight.

Thanks for that, death is no laughing matter how frustrated, mad or vengeful you might be.

If Paulus van der Sloot is honored in death … the lessons that he taught his sons in life are furthered … lessons that the legal and moral boundaries established by a civilized society do not apply to them … lessons that there are no consequences for choosing to disregard those boundaries.

Maybe … just maybe … the dishonoring of Paulus van der Sloot in death will have a positive impact on the future choices of his sons.

      Suspect Statement – June 23, 2005
      Paulus van der Sloot:

The headmaster and myself told Joran that he should have acted more responsibly. We then departed for the police station in Bubali where we arrived at approximately 11.00 hours.

Jacobs and Kelly took down Joran’s statement. Joran was speaking in Papiamentu and that was translated by the officers into Dutch.

I WAS THERE WHEN JORAN MADE HIS STATEMENT. WE MAD A FEW CHANGES IN THE CONCEPT WITH REGARD TO FACTUALITIES INSTEAD OF OBSERVATIONS.

At approximately 14.00 hours Joran signed his statement and we went to lunch in Mc Donalds or Wendy’s, which of these fast food restaurants we ate I cannot remember anymore.

      CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

      BETH HOLLOWAY
      FOX News w/ Martha MacCallum – November 28, 2006

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY, MOTHER OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY: Well I think they will always have to look at there were two personnel involved from the Aruban Justice Department and that is why we don’t have any evidence and that’s what Joran’s attorney will have to be reminded of. It’s because of Bob Witt and Ben King stopped the search warrants. It was made to initially search the entire area of Montanja 19 the garden, the buildings and everything but on the spot high ranking employee of the Justice Office Bob Witt reduced the search warrant to only the room of Joran so that’s why we don’t have any evidence because of involvement of the obstruction from the Aruban Justice Department personnel.

      Nancy Grace – October 4, 2005

NANCY GRACE, HOST: Jossy, regarding the connection, what I perceived to be a close connection between the judge, Paulus Van Der Sloot and the retired chief of police who initially handled Natalee`s case, Van Der Stratten, were they friends?

JOSSY MANSUR: Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with — and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work.

NANCY GRACE, HOST: … while you were out combing the island, they called a meeting, a meeting at the pool behind the judge`s house of lawyers, the Kalpoe family, Joran Van Der Sloot, his father, for what?

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY’S MOTHER: What he was doing was helping the boys get their stories straight, Nancy. He was instructing the boys how to get your story straight. If all stories match, in 10 days you will be free.

PAULUS – THE FIRST LINK IN THE CHAIN OF EVENTS

      JOHN Q. KELLY
      ‘Rita Cosby Live & Direct’ – April 11, 2006

JOHN Q. KELLY, HOLLOWAY FAMILY ATTORNEY: … And it’s sort of ironic that it’s his father who brought his underage son to a casino and left him there after he left, with access to his line of credit, to put this unfortunate chain of events in process.

You know, if Joran had never been there, not been allowed in there, because he’s underage and wasn’t accompanied by his father, the whole rest of the night wouldn’t have happened.

RITA COSBY, HOST: You know, and, John, also, why would that be a significant—why is that in conflict to something else we’ve heard maybe from Paulus before?

KELLY: Well, he’s just claiming that, you know, he’s kept an eye on his son, you know, he’s kept him on a short leash, and, you know, his son is very well-behaved. And it turns out that he’s, you know, got him at casinos. If you’re under 18, you’re not legally even allowed in casinos, so his son was breaking the law with him enabling it.

      Dana Pretzer Show – July 23, 2007

DANA PRETZER: One thing that makes my listeners scratch their heads so to speak and wonder, myself included and we’ll talk about it again, is the fact of the underage drinking and gambling that had been going on admittedly by young van der Sloot. Was there ever any discussion or has there ever been any discussion at least of filing some charges as far as that goes?

JOSSY MANSUR: No, there hasn’t been any of that. The authorities have just (inaudible) it aside, they haven’t paid any attention to it then and they’re not paying any attention to it now and over the past 26 months. I haven’t seen anything in the direction of trying to make some kind of statement that this is not (inaudiable) at least make some sort of a statement that this is not (inaubible) because it is a known fact that as an underage he wasn’t supposed to be in the casino, much less in the company of his father. He was there, there are video tapes to prove that and still the authorities haven’t done anything with regard to that specific case.

Let us make Paulus no more in death than he was in life. We know what he was in life, a liar and a cheat. He died. Everyone dies, in time, it is just some die before their time,,,Natalee deserved more, Paulus did not.

    25. Ed H on February 15th, 2010 9:36 pm

If the van der sloots were human I would agree with you Dana. But these people show no signs of being humnan. They have no conscious. They have No regard to the sanctity of life and are pathological liars. They have tried to dehumanise Natalie and her family. I hope God has Metcy on his soul. I hope it cause Urine to come clean( I doubt it).

And what about that priest at the church across the street from the Vandersloot’s that refused to see Dave….did Paulus confess to him….I have always thought there was something not right with all of that….really strange behavior for a priest…

    27. brie. on February 15th, 2010 11:09 pm

Well, Paulus said, “I will do anything to protect my son” and he did….

Paulus and Anita were well aware of what a pathetic son they had raised and all the damage he could do and with their approval. They never did anything to reprimand him…

The Vandersloot’s had complete protection and co-operation from the police, the judge’s, the government, etc….and Beth and Dave had none…!!!

Groups like the Tea Party Activists tend to get more extreme as they evolve.

Often hijacked by radicals who are originally attracted to these groups, then set out to impose their radical agendas. I predict the Tea Party movement will deteriorate into an even more extreme, propaganda fueled organization than it is already, becoming increasingly viewed as a haven for extremists and nut-jobs, alienating some of the more moderates that may have been attracted to their original message.

I predict they will implode from internal conflicts and small subgroups will emerge.
      __________
SM: I do not mind your opinion, let’s just post it in a thread that is more conclusive to the topic.

I will say you are wrong though just as the Democrat Party has been wrong about the Tea Party folks from the outset. What you, the MSM and Democrats fail to understand is that the Tea Party is the people. It is not a party in the sense of the Democrat or GOP, that is where its critics get it completely wrong.

There already are spin off groups of the Tea Party, that is what it is. There is no one governing body. They are all independent of each other seeking the same common goal.

The Tea Party is a vehicle that has given the People a voice and platform to be heard in a big way.
