Press Secretary Robert Gibbs Tells FNS that Scott Brown’s Mass Senate Win: “More People Voted to Express Support for Barack Obama Than to Oppose Him”

Unbelievable, talk about living in Fantasy Land …Welcome to Obama in Wonderland.

“That may be what he campaigned on but that’s not what the voters in Massachusetts said in the Washington Post poll… They did a poll of voters who participated in why they voted. Right. More people voted express their support for Barack Obama than to oppose him”. (Robert Gibbs, FNS, 01-24-10)

The Obama Administration is as tone deaf and politically arrogant a Presidential Administration that has ever existed. This morning on FNS White House Press Secretary Gibbs parroted Barack Obama’s comments from the other night that “the same thing that swept Scott Brown into office swept Barack Obama into office.”

Barack Hussein Obama is down in every poll including a most recent Gallup poll that had his favorable/unfavorable job approval at a 47% tie.

Even though Republican Senate-elect Scott Brown ran on policies that were directly against Barack Hussein Obama like stop health care, cut taxes, end back room deals with special interest groups and don’t give terrorist Miranda rights, Gibbs had the “audacity of dope” to say, “That may be what he campaigned on but that’s not what the voters in Massachusetts said …”

The Gateway Pundit has the full unreal exchange between Chris Wallace and Robert Gibbs.

Please I beg you Barack Obama, keep up the same old tired game plan. Please.

Strike One, Virginia: Republican Governor candidate Bob McDonnell wins 59%-41% and 18% advantage after Barack Obama won VA in 2008 by 6%. Vote swing of 24%.

Strike Two, New Jersey: Republican Chris Christie wins NJ Governors race over Corzine 48.5% to 45% or 3.5% when Obama won NJ in 2008 by by 15% or a swing of 18.5%.

Strike Three, Massachusetts: Republican Scott Brown wins Senate seat over Coakley 52% to 47%, a 5% point wins after Obama won Mass in 2008 by 26%. This represents a 31 swing%.

All this and the Obama Administration continues with their head in the sand. What will be most telling is if they continue down this politically suicidal path, how many Senators and House Reps will continue to follow when they will most certainly lose in the next election cycle. It is as if because Obama is not up for election for another 3 years, he could care less what happens in 2010.

What is comical is that the LEFT is livid at the Obama White House. MSNBC’s Ed Schultz spoke at Minnesota progressive talk radio AM950’s Blue State Bash at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

SCHULTZ: I told him he was full of sh*t is what I told him.And then he gave me the Dick Cheney f-bomb. … I told Robert Gibbs, I said “And I’m sorry you’re swearing at me, but I’m just trying to help you out. I’m telling you you’re losing your base. Do you understand you’re losing your base?

When Obama loses his base … then what? Although, if Obama panders to his base as he has been doing, look at the political mess he has got into with the Independents.

Those drunk with power feel they can say or do just
about anything and get away with it. Dictators
demonstrate their ‘superiority’ often at the
expense of the proletariat. Time for the ‘peons’
to demonstrate some of their immense power
at the expense of the ‘rulers’….well, at first just
enough to set ‘em back on their heels. Robert Gibbs
is just the tip of the ‘Viceberg’.

Let’s also see what spin Obama’s speechwriters put out for the State of The Hallucination… Union address this Wednesday. Please! Let’s see Obama try to gloss over Brown’s win and what it means when reading from his teleprompter.

It’s true…hope the President and his Administration remain deep in denial because it’s not working and it is exactly what will contribute to America voting Obama and other Dems out of office.

Let’s keep it going. We need to vote all this incompetent, money hungry, power grabbing crooks out of office. Let’s make an example of them. When you don’t listen to what the majority of the Americans want, you get voted out of office. PERIOD!

After all these years, I finally understand the meaning of the term ‘double-speak’.
This administration has never been shy about letting us know just how stupid they consider the American people, but this take on the Mass election wins the ‘those fools will believe anything we tell them’ award.
One can only hope that the public will continue to vote ‘in support of Obama’ in the November elections.

    14. super dave on January 25th, 2010 12:18 pm

they were stupid enough to tell the public that their next tactic would be to blame bush for everything that obama is incapable of handling.
maybe he needs bush to come tutor him and teach him some english.

I thought Robert Gibbs and the WH said they did not pay attention to polls. Which is it? This is such amateur hour stuff that it puts us all in danger. All americans must wake up and fight for their rights or this WH will take each one of them away. Thank goodness that at least some of the air has been let out of the balloon of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. We must all stay on top of this and watch carefully their antics and write to our congress whenever needed.
