11 Year Old Samantha Broadhead & Boy Friend Jack Ault Try to Set Mother on Fire
Only in Florida … WTF!!!
Taking the Talking Heads popular 80′s song, ‘Burning Down the House’ to a new and near fatal extreme.
11 year old Samantha Broadhead and her 15 year old boy friend Jack Ault have been arrested in Clear water, FL for plotting to kill the girl’s mother by setting her bedroom on fire while the woman slept. The teens now face attempted murder charges. The 11 year old Samantha Broadhead is presently being evaluated in a psych ward after the attempted murder oh her mother over retaliation of a previous argument.
Clearwater Police Department detectives say the young couple poured gasoline on Nancy Broadhead’s bedroom floor and bed, and then set the room aflame. Police say the pair escaped in the mother’s 2007 Ford Focus.
It was unclear if either suspect had an attorney. There was no answer at a listing for an Ault in Clearwater.
The girl’s mother was awakened by a smoke alarm and managed to escape. Authorities say Nancy Broadhead, 47, sustained serious burns and smoke inhalation. Her injuries were not considered life threatening.
Samantha Broadhead later returned to the scene and agreed to go to police headquarters for questioning. Jack Ault was located at a friend’s house and taken into custody.
Police spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts said a motive was “probably just typical teenage angst.”
Teenage angst?!? Are you kidding!!! Since when is teenage angst pouring gasoline in you parents room and trying to murder them by burning them alive? Ault was taken to the Pinellas County Juvenile Assessment Center and Samantha was placed under the Baker Act for psychiatric assessment.
OUCH!!! Barack Obama Gets an “F” for Protecting Americans
On January 20, 2009 Barack Hussein Obama took the following oath:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
It does not say that I will blame those before me for all of the ills of my administration. A President should lead, especially in a time of crisis. Not wait three days to address the nation while playing golf.
Instead, Obama gets an ‘F” for protecting Americans.
One would think that all would be worried about the lack of leadership and concern. Instead we get continued excuses from those that will defend Obama at all cost. When will people get it through their heads, this is no longer about George W. Bush. It is about Barack Obama as President and the leadership he is supposed to show. Bush took less heat than Obama, give me a break. This is about protecting America and Americans.
There is no more solemn duty for an American commander-in-chief than the marshalling of “all elements of American power” – the phrase Obama himself used on Monday – to protect the people of the United States. In that key respect, Obama failed on Christmas Day, just as President George W. Bush failed on September 11th (though he succeeded in the seven years after that).
Yes, the buck stops in the Oval Office. Obama may have rather smugly given himself a “B+” for his 2008 performance but he gets an F for the events that led to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab boarding a Detroit-bound plane in Amsterdam with a PETN bomb sewn into his underpants. He said today that a “systemic failure has occurred”. Well, he’s in charge of that system.

Joy Behar on Sarah Palin and ‘Going Rogue’: “A lot of her Base does not Read”
NO MEDIA BIAS HERE: Once again we see all that the LEFTist liberals have … insults and juvenile jokes.
Get your laughs and insults in now Behar and crowd as you will be crying in river following the 2010 and 2012 election.
Tolerant liberal Joy Behar insults Sarah Palin and those that follow the former Alaskan governor as that they do not read. Hmm, so you think they are ignorant, eh? As per NewsBusters, Bernhard claimed that people who bought Palin’s book “like to look at pictures. There’s only one on the cover, but they like to look at that picture.”
“You cannot deny the success of that book, and yet a lot of her base does not even read.”
What is most amazing is the LEFTS continual assault on Sarah Palin. They claim she is irrelevant, they claim she is unworthy, they claims she is lacking and joke … yet the LEFT cannot get away from trying to bring her down as her star shined in 2009. The LEFT knows that Palin is a threat and they have no idea how to stop it, but with insults.
The Gateway Pundit nails it in saying that here we have a so-called intelligent liberal like Behar who is just so much more superior than us non-reading, stupid Sarah Palin supporters, yet Behar in her infinite wisdom just pissed off 50% of the viewing audience with her outlandish and constant attack on conservatives.
Like Palin or not, that is irrelevant. Who alienates half of the audience from watching their programming and then claims to be more intelligent than others?

2012 Nebraska Senate Election:Dem Ben Nelson Trails Republican Challenger Gov. Heineman by 31 points
Obamacare proves to be a death sentence for Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson.
Drip, drip, TIDAL WAVE … Ben Nelson behind by 31% in Nebraska Senate race. Let this be a reminder to Democrats, you sleep with dogs and you get flees. How are House and Senate Democrats going to avoid Obamacare around their necks in the 2010 and 2012 elections?

Obamacare may prove terminal for Ben Nelson’s political career
Hey Incumbent Democrat Ben Nelson, how does that Corn Husker Kick back feel now? Think Nebraskans like the fact that you sold your soul to Obama and Harry Reid? As states at Hot Air, even though Nebraskans are to receive “hundreds of millions of dollars for his home state in a grubby deal with Harry Reid for his vote on ObamaCare, 55% of Nebraskans disapprove of Nelson’s performance.”
In the most recent Rasmussen poll, if Nebraska Governor Republican Dave Heineman ran against Democrat incumbent Senator Ben “Cornhusker kickback” Nelson, Heineman would get 61% of the vote while Nelson only 30%. Even though this is a hypothetical contest at this point, Nelson is so untrusted and damaged goods by his actions with voting for Obamacare … he’s done!
If Governor Dave Heineman challenges Nelson for the Senate job, a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows the Republican would get 61% of the vote while Nelson would get just 30%. Nelson was reelected to a second Senate term in 2006 with 64% of the vote.
Nelson’s health care vote is clearly dragging his numbers down. Just 17% of Nebraska voters approve of the deal their senator made on Medicaid in exchange for his vote in support of the plan. Overall, 64% oppose the health care legislation, including 53% who are Strongly Opposed. In Nebraska, opposition is even stronger than it is nationally.
Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters in the state believe that passage of the legislation will hurt the quality of care, and 62% say it will raise costs.
Even with the fact that Nelson is not up for re-election until 2012, he is toast. Corn Husker nation will not forget his flip-flop on principle. Makes one really want to get behind Obamacare doesn’t it? Vote for the government take over of health care and lose your House or Senate seat.

Charles Krauthammer Rips Obama on Iran Freedom Protests … “flaccid, meaningless words”
Obama, ALL WORDS AND NO ACTION …
KUDOS for Charles Krauthammer for always speaking what’s on his mind and holding nothing back. Krauthammer not impressed by Obama’s words … “flaccid words, meaningless words”.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT JUSTICE … THIS IS NOT ABOUT AN ABSENCE OF A PUBLIC OPTION IN HEALTH CARE … THIS IS ABOUT FREEDOM … THIS IS A REVOLUTION IN THE STREETS!!!
Why doesn’t President Obama show strength and the courage of the Iranian freedom protesters in the streets?
“THIS IS A MOMENT IN HISTORY AND HE IS MISSING IT!”
Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit
Krauthammer: “The regime is weakening. This is a hinge in history. Everything in the region with change if the regime is changed. Obama ought to be strong out there in saying it’s an illegitimate government; we stand shoulder to shoulder with the people in the street. When he talks about diplomacy he should be urging our Western allies to that have relations to cut them off. He ought to be going into the UN every forum denouncing it. This is a moment in history, and he’s missing it.”
What we have here is not a “failure to communicate”, but a failure to lead. How can any US President reference the protests of people around the world in speeches against tyrannical governments and sit back and do nothing while the Iranian people are in the streets.
It is shocking that it would take a US President this long to not only address the terrorist attempt plane bombing but also the deadly protests in the streets of Tehran. Vacation or no vacation, you are on duty 24-7. You are the President of the United States, that’s what you signed on to. That means get off the golf course and act like a leader!
No more words Mr. President, either do something to help freedom or stop talking about it.

The Underwear Bomb of Northwest Flight 253 … The Lengths that Terrorists Will Go to Kill US, Allegedly!
ABC News has pics of the the accused terrorist bomber Abdulmutallab’s underwear, explosive packet and detonator. How and why after so many years following September 11, 2001 was this terrorist allowed to board a Northwest plane with an explosive device?
See VIDEO
As seen in these photos, the alleged bomb consisted of a packet of powder sewn into the briefs of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a 23-year-old Nigerian. Al Qaeda took credit Monday for the attempted bombing, boasted of its ability to overcome U.S. intelligence and airport security, and promised new attacks.
Terrorist will stop at nothing to try and circumvent security measures in order to murder innocents. They are already learning from this failed attempt and on to the next contingency plan. The fact that the US has measures that are not constantly reviewed is rather unsettling. Are we resting on our laurels?

It is a six-inch long packet of the high explosive chemical called PETN, less than a half cup in volume, weighing about 80 grams.

Iranian Protesters Dying in the Streets … Where is Obama and the US Support?
Presidential Leadership?
The Times of London there are at least 8 dead. So far that is. No, make it 10!
Iranian police officers are reported to have opened fire into crowds of protesters on Sunday, killing at least 10 people, witnesses and opposition. With all this civil unrest by the Iranian People, I think we need to ask where is America’s help in this matter.
At least eight anti-government protesters, including a nephew of Mir Hossein Mousavi, Iran’s opposition leader, were shot dead yesterday as the smouldering confrontation between the regime and the so-called Green Movement finally erupted.
Murder and Arrests on the streets of Tehran.
The UK Telegraph has the guts to ask the question that the American MSM is too cowardly to do so … ‘Iranian protesters are dying for freedom – where is Barack Obama?’ Protests against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are once again flaring up in the streets of Tehran, Iran and Obama is no where to be found. Where is the leadership from this President?

Hat Tip: Flopping Aces, “Obama are you with us or them?”
I wrote back in June about the shameful silence of the Obama administration during the mass street protests that greeted Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s fraudulent re-election victory as President of Iran. As White House spokesman Robert Gibbs ludicrously put it, the administration was “impressed by the vigorous debate and enthusiasm this election generated.” Or in Vice President Joe Biden’s words on NBC’s Meet the Press, describing Ahmadinejad’s victory – “we’re going to withhold comment… I mean we’re just waiting to see.”
Embarrassingly for Washington, even many European leaders showed more backbone in condemning the Iranian regime’s brutal suppression of protesters, …
Once again, Barack Obama is just words. Remember during his Nobel Peace Prize speech when he referenced the Iranian protesters? I guess it’s a good thing that hope and history are on their side, as Obama can’t make up his mind whether he is. His speeches are just mere words with no action.
So even as we respect the unique culture and traditions of different countries, America will always be a voice for those aspirations that are universal … to the hundreds of thousands who have marched silently through the streets of Iran. It is telling that the leaders of these governments fear the aspirations of their own people more than the power of any other nation. And it is the responsibility of all free people and free nations to make clear to these movements that hope and history are on their side …
Do you really want to know where Obama is as the fires rage and innocent people are gunned down by the Iranian regime … President Obama keeps strict tee times and cone of silence.

What, I am on vacation … don’t I get a vacation?
Oh wait, Obama and the White House come out winging against the Iranian suppression with a little stick.
“We strongly condemn the violent and unjust suppression of civilians in Iran seeking to exercise their universal rights,” National Security Council spokesman Mike Hammer said in a statement. “Hope and history are on the side of those who peacefully seek their universal rights, and so is the United States.”
Those mere words will certainly put the fear of Allah in them. Geez.
