CHUCKY SCHUMER … DON’T YOU KNOW WHO I AM, BIOTCH!!!
Once again we are presented with the arrogance of Washington politicians who think they are more important than we peasants. Every one else has to turn their cell phones off when the flight attendant tell you to do so. That is unless you are Democrat Senator Charles Schumer.
Imagine if you called a flight attendant the “B” word what would happen?
The Senator felt his conversation was too important than to follow FAA and US Air guidelines. After losing his argument with the flight attendant and turning off his cell phone, Chucky Schumer leaned over to fellow NY democrat Senator Gillibrand after she walked away and called the flight attendant the B-word.
Sen. Chuck Schumer loves the sound of his own voice, but it carried a bit farther than he might have liked on the US Airways shuttle from New York to Washington on Sunday.
According to a House Republican aide who happened to be seated nearby, the notoriously chatty New York Democrat referred to a flight attendant as a “bitch” after she ordered him to turn off his phone before takeoff.
Schumer and his seatmate, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), were chatting on their phones before takeoff when an announcement indicated that it was time to turn off the phones.
Both senators kept talking.
According to the GOP aide, a flight attendant then approached Schumer and told him the entire plane was waiting on him to shut down his phone.
Schumer asked if he could finish his conversation. When the flight attendant said “no,” Schumer ended his call but continued to argue his case.
Usually in the past, the most dangerous place had always been between Schumer and a TV camera. I guess the cell phone is just as verbally dangerous.
Interestingly enough, when Schumer backed the airline passengers “bill of rights” he said the following:
“The least we can do is make sure passengers are treated respectfully, correctly and to some degree of decency and dignity while they wait on the tarmac.”
I am guessing that the senior Senator from New York could use some lessons in being respectful himself.

It’s actually pretty bipartisan. There are some Republicans who share the arrogance that he has as well.
These type of people either forget who elected them or they seem to be above the law, of course. I am more concerned that he had a complete disregard for the rules that we all must abide by. That is more disturbing than some sophomoric name-calling.
Self-important AHO. Reminds me of the time I was on the golf course, and this guy wanted to play through everybody, hole after hole, because he was a doctor.
Guess he never learned the childhood lesson that “it takes one to know one”… :>)
