They Lie … Obama Administration Defends Obama Bow to Japanese Emperor with Protocol Fallacy

Obama senior officials fabricate protocol to justify Obama’s bow.

This is priceless … Obama Administration is trying to tell us that Barack Hussein Obama bowed to the Emperor of Japan because The One was simply observing protocol. WHAT PROTOCOL? Or better yet, whose protocol? Unnamed senior Obama officials now see fit to flat out lie to the American public that is it US protocol to for a US President to bow to a foreign leader or monarch. Maybe they would like to cite that protocol?

A senior administration official said President Barack Obama was simply observing protocol when he bowed to Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko upon arriving at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Saturday.

“I think that those who try to politicize those things are just way, way, way off base,” the official said. “He observes protocol. But I don’t think anybody who was in Japan – who saw his speech and the reaction to it, certainly those who witnesses his bilateral meetings there – would say anything other than that he enhanced both the position and the status of the U.S., relative to Japan. It was a good, positive visit at an important time, because there’s a lot going on in Japan.”

As the Weekly Standard states, “Why won’t that “senior administration official” come out from behind the curtain and make that assertion in his own name? Because it’s nonsense.”

However, until Barack Hussein Obama no President had ever bowed down before another leader. Protocol, Hardly! Barack Obama’s greatest bows:

Michael Goldfarb from the Weekly Standard called the bow “a violation of more than two centuries of tradition and protocol holding that American presidents never bow before royalty.”

Clarence Feldman, in commentary for American Thinker, wrote “I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a president of the United States.”

This morning on Fox News Sunday Liz Cheney spoke out and made some blunt and honest statements regarding the horrendous policies of Barack Obama. It is true, who ever leads the GOP in 2013 will have a plethora of fires to put out caused by the socialist agenda of Barack Obama.

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of their minions and state run media have said from the beginning that Obamacare healthcare reform would lower health care costs. They also claimed that slashing $500 billion from Medicare would have no effect on seniors. Oh contraire … Seniors and those concerned with rising health care costs, be very afraid.

It won’t cost trillions of dollars and it will reduce costs

However, from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) comes this “Inconvenient Truth” via The Politico … the legislation the House passed last week would increase costs over the next decade by $289 billion. By 2019, health costs would rise to 21.1 percent of GDP compared to 20.8 under current law. (pdf report HERE)

With the exception of the proposed reductions in Medicare payment updates for institutional providers, the provisions of H.R. 3962 would not have a significant impact on future health care cost growth rates. In addition, the longer-term viability of the Medicare update reductions is doubtful,” the report said.

It will lower costs, not raise them and I am not taking money from seniors, really

In other words, outside of Medicare payment cuts to hospitals, the bill doesn’t curb increasing health care costs. And even the Medicare payment cuts will be difficult to sustain.

The analysis is more bad news for Democrats, who are facing increasing criticism that their reforms don’t do enough to control costs. Republicans released the analysis and jumped on the news.

It would appear that Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama have an Inconvenient Truth of their own … wellness programs cost more than treating the disease. This analysis is from a longstanding independent technical advisor to the Executive Branch and Congress. But I supposed they will be demonized and called a racist for providing bad news against Obama’s healthcare reform policy.

Barack Obama Was For Military Commission Tribunals Against KSM before He was Against Them … What Happened to the Full Military Trial?

Barack Obama was for Military Tribunals, before he was against them. So what changed from 2006? Will Americans question Obama and his Administration why he has done a reversal of fortunes on this issue?

Remember when Senator Barack Hussein Obama said that KSM would get a full military trail with all the bells and whistles on 9/27/06?

It was the debate for Military Commissions Act of 2006 to authorize trials by military commissions for violations of the law of war and act of war against the United States. The underlying bill that Obama refers to below was HR-6166 and passed and signed into law on 10/17/06.

You will hear opponents of this amendment say that it will give all kind of rights to terrorist, masterminds like Khalid Sheik Mohammed. I want to repeat that is not true. The irony of the underlying bill as it is written, is that someone like KSM is going to get a full military trial with all the bells and whistles.

Because the feeling is, he is guilty of a war crime and to do otherwise might violate the Geneva Convention.

Barack Obama Losing the Independents Vote with his Radical LEFT Agenda … Change No One Wanted to Believe In

As Obama’s poll numbers sink, will The One shift right, or march himself, the Democrat Party and America over the cliff? What do the polls show? There is not one critical problem facing the country on which the president has positive ratings. How ya like that “CHANGE” now?

Barack Obama and Democrats are not in trouble in the polls and in the upcoming 2010 and 2012 elections because Republicans are strongly against Obama and his radical agenda. Barack Obama won the Independent vote 52% to 44% over McCain; however, Obama would be hard pressed to get any where near that Independent vote at the present. In the end, Obama by the numbers is poor all the way around.

The economy is the single most important issue to the American public, yet Obama’s answers have done nothing but drive up the federal deficits to record levels, increase unemployment to over 10% and promise nothing but future taxes. 45% of American voters rate Obama’s performance with the economy as poor.  Little by little, the longer Obama is in office, the more “We the People” do not want to hear that it’s GWB’s fault. Obama owns the economy and it is his to fix. That is why he became President. Ultimately, The buck stops with Obama and the childish blame game must come to an end. Man up, or get out.

The WSJ article suggests that with dipping poll numbers and an increasing unemployment number, that Obama would be wise to shift right. However, Obama continues to ignore the will of the people as he forces through his far left agenda in spite of slipping polls.

The LA Times asks “How Low Will Obama Go”. The question that might need to be asked of Obama is how low are you willing to embarrass the United States of America and its citizens. News Busters asks the question … how will the media respond to Obama’s most recent bow?  It is an interesting question seeing that the NY Times covered former President Bill Clinton almost bow to Emperor Akihito in 1994.

Balloon Boy Hoax Dad Richard Heene Pleads Guilty to Felony Count of falsely influencing an Official … Could Get Jail Time

Justice is served for the “Balloon Boy” hoax perpetrated by the Colorado couple Richard and Mayumi  Heene. They wanted to be noticed, they wanted to be famous … well they got the bonus plan baby!  Richard Heene pleaded guilty to a felony count of falsely influencing the sheriff, while Mayumi Heene pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of filing a false report.

Richard Heene appeared before a Larimer County District Court judge first, pleading guilty to a felony count of falsely influencing the sheriff who led the rescue effort during the 50-mile balloon chase that captivated a global television audience Oct. 15.

Mayumi Heene pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of knowingly filing a false report with emergency services. Prosecutors said she had a lower level of culpability and cooperated with authorities, telling investigators the balloon launch was a publicity stunt two weeks in the making.

But even as the Heenes entered their guilty pleas, their attorneys’ comments in court set off speculation of talk show appearances or other deals.

The question remains as to whether Richard Heene will actually serve jail time. Once thing is for certain, because of this terrible and shameful stunt for attention, there is probably no Reality TV show in their future. no one would be stupid enough to tough this toxic situation.

Ex-Louisiana US Representative Democrat William Jefferson Sentenced to 13 years in prison in Corruption Case

Former Democrat US Representative William Jefferson was sentenced to 13 years and prison and to ordered Jefferson to forfeit the $470,653.47 for his role in the “most extensive and pervasive pattern of corruption in the history of Congress.”

Former Rep. William Jefferson was sentenced Friday to serve 13 years in prison for what the lead prosecutor described as “the most extensive and pervasive pattern of corruption in the history of Congress.”

While the sentence by federal Judge T.S. Ellis III fell well short of the 27 to 33 years recommended by the government, it is by the far the stiffest jail term ever imposed on a member or former member of Congress for crimes committed while in office.

Jefferson, 62, was found guilty Aug. 6 on 11 charges, including soliciting bribes, depriving citizens of honest service, money laundering and using his office as a racketeering enterprise.  

He was acquitted of five other charges in a case that famously featured the revelation that he had hidden $90,000 in the freezer of his home, marked bills from the FBI that prosecutors said was going to be used as a bribe.

As Michelle Malkin states, “Justice is Serviced”.

Better yet, just call disgraced William Jefferson … “Dollar Bill”.   Everyone remembers this case where $90,000 of cold hard cash was found in the Congress man’s freezer.

Obamacare: The Government Control Take Over of Health & the Theft of Your Children, Grand Children and Generations to Come

What President, what Congressman, what political party would do this to children and future generations? Who in good conscience would inflict a $1.3 trillion debt on the people in the midst of a recession with over 10% unemployment?

The passage by Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives of the latest version of the governments take over of health care in an attempt to control “We the People” not only is a slap in the face of personal liberties provided by the US Constitution, but also places a debt beyond comprehension to future generations. What happened to our civil liberties?

In the process of sacrificing the freedoms of our Country, the Radical Reformers are scrambling to rip apart the vision the Constitution provides for us. To finance their unrealistic attempts to remake America (and perhaps the world) to suit their foolish and peculiar aspirations, generations to come are being willfully robbed of their birthrights. We cannot let these Societal Misfits consume our children’s future by spending them into slavery!

How could a government place such a burden upon its people while forcing them to buy their insurance or fear fines and jail time. This is the same Obama government that refuses to imprison illegals, yet would arrest their own citizens for lack of government controlled insurance?

Even though only 29% of American voters would advise their Congressman to vote for Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi and the left wing radicals in the House did so any ways ramming a world of future debt down the throats of future generations, let alone a bad piece of legislation.  In the end, the vote could hardly be considered bi-partisan as only one RINO voted for Obamacare, the Pelosi edition, while 39 Democrats voted against it.

The cost of this healthcare bill will not only be the destruction of private insurance in the United States and enslaving Americans to a government run and controlled option, but the $1.3 trillion mountain of debt that future generations will never be able to pay off. However, since when does the government ever get the cost of any program correct. Just look at the projected costs of Medicare.

CT Senator Joe Lieberman put it best when he said that he would filibuster the bill and never let it come to a final vote because the cost and debt would create a worse problem than any perceived health care issue.

“The public option plan is unnecessary. It has been put forward I am convinced by people who really want the government to take over all of health insurance.”

Worse than that, we have a problem that is even greater than the health care problem and that is the debt.

“If the public option plan is in there, as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote…

The fact of the matter is that Obamacare will not cut costs, it will not improve insurance, it will not cover all the so-called uninsureds  … but it will cost future generations trillions of dollars for years to come. Obamacare will raise taxes on anything moving. How else does anyone really think this will be paid for?
