UNREAL: Barack Obama Rejects all War Options on Afghanistan … Still Dithering After all this Time

Are you kidding!!!

The Ditherer and Chief rejects all of the war options on Afghanistan. Barack Obama still cannot make a decision on war efforts in Afghanistan and says he wants to start from scratch, yet has no problem shoving a socialist, government take over of the healthcare system in the United States that is opposed by we the people. Obama campaigned that he would make the war in Afghanistan a primary one, yet nearly one year into his presidency he has no plan. UNBELIEVABLE!

President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

Obama has been asked for troops by his military commanders to win the war in Afghanistan and still this community organizer cannot make a decision.

The dangers of ineffective, indecisive and weak leadership can be expressed no better than at The Jawa Report. Not only will Obama’s lack of a decision on a direction in Afghanistan hurt the US troops, it will demoralize the Afghans who want freedom.

Please consider that not only is the US perceived as an “invader” at times. There’s another side to that coin. There are many who want freedom, who would love it. But they fear, with pretty good reason, that the US is not good for its word and will leave their ass hanging in the wind. So therefore they play the fence.

If we abandon the people of Afghanistan to the Taliban it will destroy our credibility for years to come.

Stop the ACLU refers to Obama as The Dodger and Chief … if the shoe fits!

From Milblogger Black Five“If this is true then just about all the worst fears we had about Obama as Commander in Chief are coming true”.

As usual … Weasel Zippers says what we are all thinking!

This is not a winnable war lets get the f out. Too much open ground to secure. Do we really have 40,000 troops to expose to a possibility of a nuclear strike?

Afghans are friends by day and enemy at night just like Vietnam. If they want democracy they need to stand on their own two feet. Karzi is blaming influx of western money for the corruption in his govt.

Taliban is more of a threat to pakistan, india and europeon interests, let them figure it out.

Unless we develop a comprehensive South Asia strategy, the most we can hope for is a temporary peace in Afghanistan.

What would such a strategy look like? Well, at the very least it requires some moderation of the strategic competition between India and Pakistan.

Without attention to this aspect of the problem, we really are only playing around at the edges of the conflict.

8 years of and how many American deaths later are these fools going to figure out it’s not worth our time to be over there. These people don’t want us there…they don’t care about democracy…if they want change..let them do it on their own terms. Secure our borders..get rid of the drug cartels..the gangs..clean up our own backyard for a change…keep these ass clowns out of our country. Spend all that money wasted there for nothing…spend it here.

    9. Scott on November 12th, 2009 1:18 pm

Right..so they can spend and waste our money on things like CAP and TAX, healthcare reform, fradulent STIMULUS, more bailouts, etc….

The Ditherer and Chief should be tried for TREASON and impeached immediately!! He is as incompetent as the day is long!!

    12. Pat in alabama on November 13th, 2009 12:42 am

He is not only incompetent, he is endangering us. Many of our enemies only respect force and strength, and they are laughing that we are such suckers that we will sit around and negotiate peace while they make their plans for war. Seems like that was what the Japanese were doing just before Peral Harbor.

The real problem (IMO) is that we have forgotten why we are there. We set out to kick some butt after 911. We were going to hunt down terrorists and take down nations that harbored them. That is why we wound up at war with the Taliban, because they wouldn’t give up Bin Laden. But then we got distracted by Iraq, and now we think we are nation building or something. I’m not a military person, but it strikes me that we are trying to wage a “nice guy” war, at the expense of our own. I beieving that if we really had the political courage, we could bring the military might to bear that is needed to clean that mess up quick — and then get out!
