An Inconvenient Poll: Belief in global warming down 20 points in 3 years …

Is Al Gore getting the cold shoulder on Global warming? In a recent Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, only 57% of Americans think there is solid evidence that the world is getting warmer. The belief that man is responsible for Al “the earth has a fever” Gore’s global warming has also fallen. That is down 20% points in 3 years and down 14% from just last year.

Americans are beginning to get educated on the so-called science of global warming. They are no longer believing Gore hook, line and sinker. The more America becomes informed, the more they turn away from the global warming propaganda.

In a poll of 1,500 adults by the Pew Research Center for the People&the Press, released Thursday, the number of people saying there is strong scientific evidence that the Earth has gotten warmer over the past few decades is down from 71 percent in April of last year and from 77 percent when Pew started asking the question in 2006. The number of people who see the situation as a serious problem also has declined.

The steepest drop has occurred during the past year, as Congress and the Obama administration have taken steps to control heat-trapping emissions for the first time and international negotiations for a new treaty to slow global warming have been under way. At the same time, there has been mounting scientific evidence of climate change — from melting ice caps to the world’s oceans hitting the highest monthly recorded temperatures this summer.

Since 2006, across every party line including Democrats the belief that there is evidence that global warming exists has gone down drastically. Democrats has seen a drop of -16%, Republicans -24 and Independents -26%.

This is rather poor timing on the part of Barack Obama and Democrats as they try try to ram “cap & tax” down the throats of Americans. In the present political and economic climate, pardon the pun, their is hardly the appetite for such measures.  All this while the global warming folks are set to meet at the Copenhagen summit in December. While misguided environmental extremists look to destroy Americas economy in the midst of a recession, Q and O points out that developing countries like India are not willing to sacrifice development for climate change as they tell everyone, suck it.

Barack Obama Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Continues to Slide … Only 26% Strongly Approve

In the wake of poor jobs numbers, near 10% unemployment, not being able to make a decision to send troops to Afghanistan, record federal deficits, a childish war with Fox News and an unpopular Obamacare … President Barack Obama finds his Daily Presidential Rasmussen Tracking poll sinking to -13%. This represents the 7th straight day that Obama has had a double digit negative rating.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. That’s the lowest level of Strong Approval yet measured for this President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13.

The Rasmussen tracking poll shows that only 26% strongly approve of the job Obama is doing, while 39% strongly disapprove. The 26% amount represents the lowest strongly approve rating that The One has had as President. The luster is gone. It took less than 8 months for Obamamania is disappear. It’s hard to garner support, provide coattails or win reelection when you do not have a large amount of voters who strongly support the job you are doing or your policies.

The recent Gallup poll indicated that Barack Obama had the largest drop of an President from the second to third quarter of an elected President in 50 years.

PRINCETON, NJ — In Gallup Daily tracking that spans Barack Obama’s third quarter in office (July 20 through Oct. 19), the president averaged a 53% job approval rating. That is down sharply from his prior quarterly averages, which were both above 60%.

It is safe to say that the American people are dissatisfied and do not agree with Obama’s policies on the economy or healthcare. Obama’s approval rating continues to slide as Obamacare is rammed through the political process against the majority will of “We the People”.

The honeymoon with the American people is over. As Obama’s ratings plummet, the White House becomes more and more thin skinned and small in their attacks on Fox News and warnings to other media outlets to not follow Fox’s lead. Yet, Obama cannot make a decision on Afghanistan with troops, the stimulus plan was a failure, unemployment is nearing 10%. It is safe to say that the bloom is off the rose and Obama is in some serious trouble. So are Democrats that face elections in 2009 and 2010.

Even in Obama’s Europe, they are reporting that Obama’s approval rating drop is the worst in 50 years. Obama’s present approval rating of 53% approval rating is down from April’s 62% and down from his 73% when he entered the White House.

It was bad enough that Obama pitbulls Dunn, Axelrod and Emanuel would go before the media and whine about Fox News not being a news organization. But the President? Why would any President act so small and get involved in something like this?

Last night in an interview with NBC News, President Barack Hussein Obama refused to apologize for the attacks on Fox News and Freedom of the Press and in fact might have made matters worse.

Obama stated that the American people are more interested in how they are handling the situation in Afghanistan and creating jobs. Yes they are Mr. President! The fact that you are failing miserably at both is not lost on the American voter one bit. BTW Barack, we lost another 531,000 jobs.

Obama says he doesn’t lose sleep over it.

We are going to take media as it comes. If media is operating as a talk radio format that is one thing and if they are operating as a news outlet than that is another.

New Weekly Jobless Claims Rise by 11,000 from Previous Week to 531,000 … 10% Unemployment cannot be Far Away

More signs that the economy is getting better as per the Obama Administration. Hey Barack Obama, your stimulus bill just lost another 11,000 jobs. The US did not lose 520,000 jobs this week, we lost 531,000! Every state except North Dakota has lost jobs since the stimulus plan was enacted.

This most recent weekly addition of the subtraction of 11,000 jobs should continue to weigh down Obama’s approval ratings. Wait until unemployment hits the magic number of 10% and see what happens to The One’s approval ratings and this administrations spin that the economy is getting better. Americans have stated that job creating should be the President’s number one goal. These numbers are going to leave a mark.

The number of newly laid-off workers filing claims for jobless benefits rose more than expected last week, after falling in five of the past six weeks.

Giles and O’Keefe use the same script in Philly that they did in Baltimore, Washington, DC, San Diego, NYC and the rest of the “pimps & prostitute” stings they did in trying to traffic under age girls from South American into the United States as sex slaves.

It would appear that the media outlets that reported and defended ACORN with their lies has a bit of a journalistic integrity issue. For a month, it has supposedly been the settled truth that a similar attempt by O’Keefe and Giles in Philadelphia had failed miserably, and that the pair were “thrown out” of ACORN’s office there. ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis said so on CNN. The Philadelphia Daily News’s David Gombacorta reported that “they were apparently shown the door.” Others playing or parroting ACORN’s assertions included the Philadelphia Enquirer, the Washington Post, NPR, and the New York Times.

The Anthony clan takes a cruise ship vacation to the Caribbean while 48 Hours runs a TV special focusing on the case of the murder of Caylee Anthony. According to this report from Eyewitness News, the Anthonys received $20,000 for an interview on that special.

Cindy and George Anthony apparently left their daughter’s murder trial hearing last Friday and headed to Port Canaveral for a 4-day Bahamian cruise on the Monarch of the Seas. That comes after George told prosecutors under oath that no one will hire them and, just to make ends meet, they had to accept a few thousand dollars from the CBS network for an exclusive interview that aired Saturday night. Cindy told prosecutors it was more like $20,000.

They must have been looking for Caylee’s killer on the cruise ship. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Hey, Doc, Gopher, Captain Stubbing … have you seen Caylee’s killer?

Misty Croslin, whose seven-month marriage to the missing girl’s father ended Thursday, was named as one of three young women who tried, and failed, to buy drugs at the Ragsdale Apartment Complex, police reported.
