17 year old Misty Croslin, the last known person to see missing Haleigh Cummings alive, was 
robbed and injured Monday night in what is being reported as a drug deal gone bad. The speculation can begin again … what was Misty really doing and what happened the nigh that Haleigh Cummings went missing under her care?
The trouble-plagued teenager who was the last known person to see HaLeigh Cummings alive was robbed and injured Monday night during a drug deal gone bad, according to the Palatka Police Department.
Misty Croslin, whose seven-month marriage to the missing girl’s father ended Thursday, was named as one of three young women who tried, and failed, to buy drugs at the Ragsdale Apartment Complex, police reported.
This is not the first time that Misty Croslin has had a brush with drug charges. So what happened and where was Misty Croslin the night that Haleigh Cummings went missing?
Robbed while trying to buy illegal drugs? This is the individual who was babysitting Haleigh Cummings when she went missing. The same person who has dodged the truth and failed lie detector tests. Previously, Haleigh’s dad, Ronald Cummings was arrested on a burglary charge. We really need to ask ourself with this as the family support group around her, how did something not happen to Haleigh Cummings sooner?
Three females, Croslin, 17, accompanied by Brandy Steedley, 18, and Melinda Santmyer, 22, went to the apartments on Moody Road in Palatka, FL around 8:15 p.m. Monday for the purpose of buying drugs. According to their accounts, unidentified black men approached their car as she was walking back to the vehicle and stole Misty’s purse. Because obviously these three have never bought drugs from any of these individuals in the past.
Two or three unidentified black males approached their car and reportedly grabbed Croslin and stole her purse.
She managed to get into the car, and Steedley drove away — leaving Santmyer behind to flee on foot, police said.

Unfortunately, this may not get law enforcement any closer to finding Haleigh. If Misty Croslin has been doing drugs for a significant period of time, then creating, living, and defending a lie is a way of life.
Isn’t she pregnant? In CA. a baby born with drugs in system is taken away by the state. They test all newborns if the Mother is on State aid. She is more interested in her next score to be worried about any child hers or Haleigh.
Misty Croslin’s face says,
“Why don’t they believe me? I turned 14 last year! Why does everyone think I’m too young to be married AND now divorced??”.
I know she said she was 17,
but Misty cannot be older than 15 – tops!

My theory on what happened to missing Haleigh Cummings under Mistys Croslin care. Misty did some drugs and Haleigh died. Accident? Misty needed help to get rid of the body. Her brother or friends helped her get rid of the body?

Nothing about that night she says makes sense. The door was locked, only way in was to unlock the door..no sign of break in..duh.. Who is gonna go in a house and prop the door open, then go get the child.. turn on the lights too.. give me a break.. I am surprised she hasnt used the excuse she put her on the beach and called her friend to come pick her up. What a joke she is..

Sandy…um…pretty detached post you have there. Let’s just say Ron was @ work and did not kill his daughter regardless of his criminal record. Is he brilliant? Nope. Street smart. Sort of. One who would kill his own daughter? Highly doubtful indeed!
Just cuz Misty doesn’t have one doesn’t mean she’s any better. Just hasn’t been caught (until now) doing anything illegal.
Why Ron married Misty is kinda obvious other than she is young and cute. I think his statement of “keeping the enemy close” says it all. He hoped to get more information from her, didn’t, dumped her.
how old was misty when her and ron started dating she was a child herself maybe she was so jelouse of the baby girl becouse she was daddy’s little girl and she could’t handel that and maybe ron married her becouse he would be charged himself for being with a girl younger than 16 and about the brother , maybe Misty left the door opened and he took the baby he had a gun
