Daily Commentary – Thursday, September 17th, 2009 – The Ratings Are In … Fox News Winning the Cable Wars

  • And it looks like the Fox personalities are gobbling up the viewers. What does that tell us about what message people are tuning in to? TV viewership is a mechanism in how the people want to get their news … Fox News viewership is off the charts and obviously people who have never turned into Fox News in the past are doing so now.

Murder Case of Annie Le: Person of Interest Raymond Clark’s DNA is a MATCH! Arrest is Imminent

The New Haven Register is reporting that the DNA taken from Person of Interest Raymond Raymond_Clark1Clark is a MATCH to that from the bloody clothes found in the ceiling tiles at research facility at 10 Amistad St. in New Haven, CT! Police are in the process of getting an arrest warrant for Raymond Clark.

An arrest is certain to be made soon if not already done prior to the release of this information. The police were only waiting for a DNA match. This hardly comes as a surprise seeing that it was earlier reported that the bloody shirt belonged to lab tech Raymond Clark.

Police have obtained a DNA match that implicates Raymond Clark III, 24, in the slaying of Yale graduate student Annie Le, police sources said late Wednesday.

Police have obtained, or are in the process of obtaining, an arrest warrant, the sources said.

Police were in Cromwell, where Clark was staying in the Super 8 motel.

This comes hours after police served two more search warrants Wednesday on their “person of interest” in the slaying of a Yale graduate student.

Also, The New Haven Independent is reporting that a press conference has been set for 7:00 a.m. Thursday to announce what is anticipated to be an arrest of Raymond Clark in the murder of Yale graduate student Annie Le.

UPDATE I: Arrest Expected Soon

New Haven police spokesman Joe Avery said early today that an arrest was expected “soon” in the death of 24-year-old Annie Le. Avery stated that he was not aware of any DNA “match;” however, the New Haven Register had reported there had been one and cited police sources.

Police were gearing up to arrest Yale lab technician Raymond Clark 3rd early Thursday

Murder of Yale Grad Student Annie Le and Detention of Person of Interest Raymond Clark … “the suspect took apart her body”

Person of Interest Raymond Clark was detained by police and conducted a search of his residence in Middletown, CT. Raymond Clark was a lab technician who worked closely with Annie Le.

Here is some shocking and breaking news:

According to sources from Fox61, that a possible motive of the murder of Annie Le was a dispute over possible abuse of lab animals in the research facility at 10 Amistad St. in New Haven, CT. A violent struggle ensued between the person of interest, Raymond Clark, and the victim Annie Le. Eventually, the suspect took apart her body and put her behind the wall space in the basement of the facility.. The cause of her death was asphyxiation, confirmation will come tomorrow from the medical examiner.

H/T: FOX61

How did Raymond Clark become a person of interest? Also according to sources, the bloody clothing found in the ceiling tiles of the lab facility belonged to the suspect, Raymond Clark. An acquaintance who Clark lives with noticed that the clothes he was wearing when he came home was different than what he wore in the morning and that he had defensive scratches, cuts and blood on his body. That person tipped off police.

Obamacare Support Falls Back to Pre-Obama Healthcare Speech to Congress … 52% Oppose – 45% Approve

Lipsticking the Obamacare pig … in the end a pig is just a pig and a government take over of Vanderbilt_lipstikhealthcare is one in the same as well.

NO BOUNCE!

Contrary to the LEFT’s spin … Barack Obama’s speech to a joint session of Congress last week was not a game changer. It was a predictable knee jerk bounce in the polls that would come back and settle exactly where it began. Once again as Americans have realized you can’t lipstick a pig, nor can you make a disastrous healthcare plan smell like a rose, support for Obamacare is back to 52% against and 45% approval.

Following President Obama’s speech to Congress last week, support for his health care reform plan increased steadily to a peak of 51% yesterday. However, the bounce appears to be over. The latest daily tracking shows that support has fallen all the way back to pre-speech levels.

This is the reason why you don’t go by daily snap shots of polls, you follow the trend. According to the Rasmussen poll, 23% strongly favor the plan while 41% are strongly opposed.  What was the Rasmussen poll on Obamacare just prior to the President’s speech, 53% opposed and 45% approve.

FOX News Megyn Kelly and Lis Wiehl Have a Free for All on Joe Wilson and Democrat Hypocrisy

DOUBLE STANDARDS!

You lost me at integrity.

The comment of the day … “they [politicians] have to maintain the “integrity”. Integrity coming from the institution that had seven Senators vote for a bill in favor of keeping federal tax dollars going to an organization where representatives gave advice to set up a whore house for kids. NICE!

Where were you when Rep. Pete Stark called President Bush a liar on the House floor, twice in the same speech. Hypocrisy in action.

Harry Reid in Real Trouble in 2010 Nevada Senate Race … Trails Both Republican Challengers Lowden & Tarkanian

Obamacare pulling Reid down.

The Nevada Senate election in 2010 is yet another example of an incumbent Democrat in serious trouble in a reelection bid. This time it is Senate Majority leader Harry Reid who according to a recent Rasmussen poll trails Republican challenger Sue Lowden 50% to 40% and trails Republican Danny Tarkanian 50% to 43%. What is remarkable is just how far under the 50% incumbent threshold that Reid is. The polling numbers seem to mirror other recent Nevada Senate polling.

Harry_Reid_arrogance

I don’t care if Nevada voters are against Obamacare 52% -45%, I know better that you

The first Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of the 2010 race shows Sue Lowden beating Reid by 10 percentage points, 50% to 40%. Lowden is chairwoman of the Nevada Republican Party and the preferred candidate of the Republican party establishment.

ACORN, Pimps and Prostitutes: Part 4 San Bernardino, CA Edition … Did ACORN Employee Just Say She Shot her Husband?

OMG, This is UNREAL!!!

As promised … Big Government comes through with video #4 … California Dreamin, or is it Pimpin’?

If it’s ACORN, it must be James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles pulling a fast one on the nutroots at ACORN and exposing the corruption once again. It is hard to believe that four ACORN office fell for the pimpin’ Ain’t Easy routine. Yet another ACORN employee not having a problem with the prostitution. People against prostitution are narrow minded.

Holy Cow Batman, did this ACORN employee (Tresa Kaelke) just admit to running an escort service and shooting & killing her husband?

OMG, even an Obama  and Kennedy reference from the ACORN employee: “do you think that even Obama, new President, or any of them put down every single resource where they got there money?”

She also admitted to not declaring a dime of her escort service.

The Gateway Pundit provides a picture that was scrubbed off the ACORN website prior to the 2008 Presidential elections of Barack Obama. Makes one wonder what Barack trained them in?

One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts.

These videos keep getting progressively worse. And if we thought #4 was bad, I can’t even begin to imagine what BigGovernment.com has in the pipeline.

UPDATE I: Hot Air has all of the unedited video of the sting on ACORN San Bernardino
