Leading Up to Healthcare Speech, Obama’s Disapprovals on Obamacare Up to 52% … 78% of Americans Want Same Insurance as Congress

In the hours leading up to Barack Obama’s healthcare speech before a joint session of Congress, Obama finds his poll numbers in shambles. 52% of Americans now disapprove of how “The One” is handling healthcare according to an Associated Press-GfK poll.   Also, 49% now disapprove of how Obama is handing his job as President, up from 42% in July.

Unbelievable, this President refuses to listen to the people. He plans on harping on the Public Option. Obama is to say, “Well the time for bickering is over. The time for games has passed.” This President thinks that the American people lending their voice to the debate is bickering? So much for listening to the people.

Public disapproval of President Barack Obama’s handling of health care has jumped to 52 percent, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll released hours before he makes his case for overhaul in a prime-time address to Congress.

With his health revamp moving slowly and unemployment edging ever higher, Obama’s overall approval rating has also suffered a blow. The survey showed that 49 percent now disapprove of how he is handling his job as president, up from 42 percent who disapproved in July.

The grade people give Obama on health care also has worsened since July, when just 43 percent disapproved of his work on the issue.

Americans are fed up with Obamacare and they are tired of the double standard of politicians privilege vs. “We the People”. In a Rasmussen poll, 78% of Americans say that they should be allowed to purchase the same health insurance plan as Congress receives.

Seventy-eight percent (78%) of U.S. voters say every American should be allowed to purchase the same health insurance plan that members of Congress use.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only seven percent (7%) of voters disagree and 15% are not sure.

Many times during the town hall meetings over the summer, politicians were asked by “the angry mob” whether they would opt into the same public option plan that they would inflict upon the American people. Not once did we hear a yes. In fact, as reported at The Examiner via The Gateway Pundit, Congress unanimously rejected in committee the same public plan they are pushing on ordinary Americans. Thus, it is okay for Congress to inflict a public option on you, but not for them self.

And in this video  Moffit points to an amendment offered by Rep. Dean Heller, R-NV, during a House Ways and Means Committee meeting just before the recess began that would have required Members to be covered by the Public Option plan if they approve it for private citizens.

Predictably, however, the Heller amendment was defeated, with all 21 committee Democrats voting against it. That vote is indicative of the reality that any bill requiring Congress to be covered by the same health care as the public has the proverbial snow ball in Hades’ chances of being enacted.

Parents, the Washington Post says that you overreacted. A parent caring about what their children are exposed to a President who has yet to come out against a communist, truther like Van Jones. Wow, really? Parents concerned that the Obama lesson plan was nothing more than an end run around their authority to indoctrinate. If it wasn’t then why were the lesson plans scrapped?

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the terribly scary bit of propaganda that prompted certain Americans to cry “socialism” and “indoctrination” and force some schools to opt out of hearing the president’s message Tuesday.

In the end the President’s speech was benign; however, without the uproar and concern by American parents one wonders if it would have been? I am curious why the MSM did not consider what Democratic politicians did to George H.W. Bush an overreaction? A disingenuous media wants you to believe that this is a new form of vile hatred against Barack Obama never seen before in American politics. It’s because he is the first black president why people are so rabid and want him to fail. Really, how about what Democrats have done in the past?

As previously posted, the issue was not so much the message, but the messenger.

However, the MSM continues to insult Americans while protecting Barack Obama. If you are not a racist, you are stupid. NBC says that the parents who objected to Obama’s speech to the children  “… the biggest danger to kids in this whole thing is that a lot of the their parents complaining aren’t smart enough to raise them very effectively.”

Wouldn’t the real truth be that the parents who took notice and raised objections with what Obama initially planned on doing complete with full socialist lesson plans were paying attention and looking out for their children? However, for a government to take over the rights of the people, it needs a lazy and complacent population willing to do whatever their leader says and question nothing.

Oh wait, here we go … any one who opposes Barack Obama’s policies are racist. From MSNBC, it’s a Southern thing. No wingnuts, according to the polls it is an Independent thing. How pathetically sad and yet another myth of this Administration that they were supposed to be the people of “hope & change” and help put an end to racism in the US when all they have done is fanned the flames of it instead.

If it were not for white people, Obama would never have been elected President. The fact that now a majority of people are against his policies has nothing to do with the color of his skin. It’s about the socialism.

How many times does this Administration think that the public will take being called stupid racists before they throw them out of office?

President Obama has never met a tax he didn’t like. Even one’s that failed miserably on the local level. NY Governor Paterson already attempted a soda tax and it bombed. Obama looks to float the idea of a “soda sin tax” on the American people.

So now Barack Obama is going to have government dictate what we can drink and single out specific beverage companies in the process? Doesn’t the soda scenario look just like Obamacare? We already have government run health care failures in Massachusetts and Tennessee. So what is Obama’s answer? If the fail in an individual state, it will work on the national level, NOT!

I though Obama said he would not tax people who made less that $250,000? Are you telling me that people who make less than $250K don’t drink soda?  Whether its a tax on the purchase or distribution of soda, the consumer will still pay the tax.

Obama Speaks to the School Children, the Problem was not the Message , It was the Messenger … Socialism is not a Recipe for Individual Success

The problem was not the Obama message, the problem was Obama as the messenger. I would like to think that any President should be able to talk to American school children to stay in school and take their education seriously. To strive for personal responsibility and become the best that they can be.

That was supposed to be Obama’s message. It’s too bad that Barack Obama does not believe this or his policies show it. Nor does much of Obama’s rhetoric. Since when do socialist policies promote individuals to succeed? The problem is that Obama’s message does not jive with his actions.

BTW, if we really want school kids to get the best education, why are they not offered vouchers?

But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Really Mr. President, you want people to succeed? What if they become rich and successful, won’t they then be demonized as the evil rich that you would look to tax at every turn? If they become wager earners of $250K or more, they suddenly become persona non grata with you. At every turn he looks to tax anyone of wealth so that he can share it with other.

Barack Obama wants you to become a doctor or police officer with your talents. Really? You mean Obama wants you to strive to be a doctor so he can accuse you of putting profits over patient care? Then he will socialize medicine so you make no income. Or you could become a police officer so when you arrest anyone of color Obama can say that you acted “stupidly”. Or maybe you can work for an insurance carrier where you can be demonized by Obama as being greedy and evil.

And no matter what you want to do with your life – I guarantee that you’ll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, or a teacher, or a police officer? You want to be a nurse or an architect, a lawyer or a member of our military? You’re going to need a good education for every single one of those careers. New Gallup Poll Says that Only 37% Want their Congressman To Vote in favor of Obamacare, Opponents 82% say Issue Major factor in their vote in 2010

As the Congress returns to Washington, DC to work, the question remains as to whether they will listen to “We the People” and do the work of the will of the people? In the most recent Gallup poll, only 37% said that they would want their Congressman to vote for Obamacare. The polling in opposition against Obamacare is much stronger than for that in favor. House of Representative and Senators beware … it is up to you whether you wish to remain in DC after 2010.

The American people are no less divided on healthcare reform today than they were a month ago. A new Gallup Poll finds 39% of Americans saying they would direct their member of Congress to vote against a healthcare reform bill this fall while 37% want their member to vote in favor.

What Congress might really want to pay attention to is the Gallup poll that stated that 64% of Americans consider their member of Congresses vote on Obamacare a key factor in the next election. Do Democrats want to blindly follow a President’t agenda who is losing job approval daily? Vote at your own risk.

The new Gallup Poll, conducted Aug. 31-Sept. 2, suggests the issue could be politically potent in 2010. Sixty-four percent of Americans say their representative’s position on healthcare reform will be a major factor in their vote in the next congressional election; just over a third say it will be no more than a minor factor.

Opponents of reform have the edge in intensity here. Among Americans who want their member of Congress to vote against healthcare reform, 82% say the issue will be a major factor in their vote in next year’s elections.

Barack Obama’s SPINAL TAP Moment … The One Talks to the School Children … This is What He Got: Wash Your Hands

There is nothing wrong with a President stating the importance of telling children to stay in school; however, was that what this was originally all about?

The Presidents speech to the school children of America can best be described as Barack Obama’s “SPINAL TAP” moment. One can question whether the speech that the “transparent”President Obama finally released was in fact what was initially intended. After all, the context of the “talk to the students” was released under the cloak of darkness even after the Van Jones resignation.

Do we really believe that the original speech was about Johnny washing his hands? If so why did Obama in the end scrap the lesson plans? Does anyone find it strange that while children were supposed to be learning, they are instead taken away from their studies to watch Obama and them have their time diverted to the extensive lesson plan?

What is interesting in the Obama speech is just how many times“Obama” references himself. Hmm … I thought this was about the children? However, what would one expect when the original Obama speech was entitled, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what your children can do for Obama”.

Also, people might claim that isn’t the Obamamessiah speaking to the children a violation of separation of “Church and State”?
