Media Obama Fatigue … Viewership to Last Night’s Obamacare Address Down 38.6% from First Address to Congress

After eight months in office America has Obama Fatigue. America has grown weary of “The One”.

It was billed as Barack Obama’s most important speech as President. The MSM said that this Obama speech could make or break the rest of his presidency and Obamacare hung in the balance.

The Obamacare speech in front of a joint session of Congress on healthcare was covered by 10 networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, Univision, Telemundo, BET, CNBC, CNN, FOX News Channel , MSNBC and reached an audience of  32,111,596 viewers. The 596 viewers must have been courtesy of MSNBC.  This is down 38.6% from President Obama’s first address to a joint session of Congress on February 24, 2009.

BigGovernment.com. Breitbart and James O’Keefe nail ACORN’s Baltimore, MD office with secret undercover video tape. ACORN employees assist two individuals posing as a prostitute and a pimp and encouraging them to lie to the Internal Revenue Service.

In the videotape, made on July 24, James O’Keefe, a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, posed as a pimp with a 20-year-old woman named “Kenya” who posed as a prostitute while visiting ACORN’s office in Baltimore. The couple told ACORN staffers they wanted to secure housing where the woman could continue to maintain a prostitution business.

Senate Democrats Skeptical about “Cap & Trade” Climate Bill … Unsure Whether Higher Priority in 2009

Look what happens when a Presidents approval rating start to sink like the Titanic. Senate Democrats are now getting cold feet with the passage of the “Cap & Trade” climate bill. Suddenly, the Democrat controlled Senate is pushing off the vote on a bill they know is unpopular with the people and would adversely affect the economy. The fact of the matter is that “global warming” is not an important issue and “We the People” do not believe the rhetoric.

“It’s a difficult schedule” with many members already “anxious” about healthcare reform, Senator Dick Durbin, the second-ranking Democrat, told Reuters when asked about prospects this year for a bill to cap emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.

His speech went on far to long and once again failed on details; however, reiterated much of the same old talking points. Let’s help Obama out. Healthcare reform in the United States can be started right now, not four years from now … right this second to help those out who cannot afford insurance coverage.

Tort Reform should not be a pilot program, it should be implemented immediately. Ridiculous law suits, defensive medicine and out of control malpractice insurance have greatly added unnecessary cost to healthcare. However, would Obama really bite the hand that feeds him with the Trial lawyers? 

If Barack Obama is willing to create a pool of insurance carriers then there should be no reason not to allow insurance carriers to compete across state lines for insureds. What better form of competition that companies that are ready, willing and waiting to sign up new insureds. The competition would end insurance monopolies in  states like Alabama and California and reduce insurance premiums immediately.

CNN Claims Double Digit Bounce for Obama after Speech … Watch the Trends, not the Snap Shot … NICE SAMPLING!

This is the reason why you never look at snap shot polls, you look at trends.

CNN has claimed that Barack Obama received a 14 bounce after his Obamascare speech last night. One will concede that polls might rise in a knee jerk reaction to Obama’s many hollow promises of what Obamacare will and will not do; however, as history serves us such polling goes back to its original level. CNN stated that the bounce that Obama received was similar to that after Bill Clinton’s speech on health care before Congress in 1993. Um, CNN … you do remember that Hillary-healthcare failed, right?

Sixty-seven percent of people questioned in the survey say the support Obama’s health care reform proposals that the president outlined in his address, with 29 percent opposed. Those figures are almost identical to a poll conducted immediately after Bill Clinton’s health care speech before Congress in September, 1993.

However, the poll sampling of of 45% Democrats, 37% Independents, and 18% Republicans is hardly reflective of America.

Make no mistake about it, there is a reason why Obama’s poll numbers have declined monthly since he took office. Insta polling is about as reliable as Internet polling.

If the President does not listen to the will of the people, he and Democrats will be sunk. Let’s see the polling after the 9–12 Tea Parties.

UPDATE I: Talk About Your Oversampling … 18% were Republicans, while 45% were Democrats

This liberal, shameless media will do anything to prop up Obama and make this preisident appear to be something that he is not, even fudge a poll anad call it news.

The pollsters interviewed 427 Americans before and after their speech- only 18% were Republicans, while 45% were Democrats. Due to this skewing, CNN didn’t really play up the poll’s results on air, but they tried to do that on their CNN.com website.

Obama can talk and talk and talk about Obamacare, the problem is that Americans do not believe him. The polls bare this as Obama’s disapprovals on healthcare are now at 52%. The issue is that Obama does not have the facts on his side … he only has what he is telling the people.

So why can’t Barack Obama, the great orator, the great speaker not sell Obamacare? Because some times the product is so bad and so unwanted that no wrapping paper or bow makes it better. Americans don’t believe in Obamacare because Obama loses them at deficit neutral. Barack Obama claims that he will not sign that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period! How about a plan that add billions and trillions of dimes instead.

OBAMA: “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period.”

THE FACTS: Though there’s no final plan yet, the White House and congressional Democrats already have shown they’re ready to skirt the no-new-deficits pledge.

House Democrats offered a bill that the Congressional Budget Office said would add $220 billion to the deficit over 10 years. But Democrats and Obama administration officials claimed the bill actually was deficit-neutral. They said they simply didn’t have to count $245 billion of it — the cost of adjusting Medicare reimbursement rates so physicians don’t face big annual pay cuts.

Then there was Obama’s promise that “nothing in this plan will require you or your employer to change the coverage or the doctor you have.” On the surface this is true; however, Obama cannot guarantee you that your coverage will not change?

WOW, Audience Member Calls Obama a Liar As Obama Says His Obamacare will Not Cover Illegal Aliens

Here is something you don’t see or hear every day … Member in Congress calls Barack Obama a liar when “The One” says that his healthcare system will not cover illegal immigrants.

The reforms I am proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally. You lie!

The culprit was South Carolina rep Joe Wilson, who felt moved to act when The One told what was, in fact, a lie. Although certainly not his biggest of the night: Where this jackass gets off lecturing Americans on civility after his cretinous cronies spent a month demagoging the hell out of every protester in sight is beyond me. You’re Mr. Clean, aren’t you, champ? And bottom-feeders like Harry Reid are your hatchet men. Nice work if you can get it.

UPDATE II: The Gateway Pundit brings up this little tid-bit that shows HR3200 doesn’t require people to establish citizenship or legal residency before applying to exchanges for health insurance.

While Barack Obama insists that the idea that ObamaCare will cover illegal immigrants is a “myth,” the CRS points out that the bill does nothing to prevent it.  Since HR3200 doesn’t require people to establish citizenship or legal residency before applying to exchanges for health insurance, including the public option, taxpayer money will certainly flow to illegal immigrants.

To bad that the comments of “We the People” at Town Hall meetings did not turn the heads of Obama, Biden and Pelosi

One would think though that individuals could have yelled liar at several parts of the Presidents speech tonight. Folks, since when does this administration get anything right when it comes to cost? They could not figure out the cash for clunkers program correctly, do you really think that insuring 47 million, now tonight down to 30 million will cost $900 billion? Go fish.

Next Obama says that you will not lose your health insurance with his Obamacare plan. Wrong. Presently HR3200, (149–150), states that an employer can pay an 8% penalty and transfer their employee to the government run public option. If an employer presently pays more than 8% for your insurance coverage, do you honestly think that you will not be switched for bottom line business purposes?

UPDATE I: Before Democrats get all high and mighty and insulted by Obama being called a liar, Democrats pulled this stunt with GWB as well.
