Daily Commentary – Monday, September 21st, 2009 – Blogs and Cable News to Blame for Opposition to Obamacare & Health Care Debate Passions

  • Or at least, that’s what President Obama says. Maybe he should start listening to what’s being said, instead of complaining about it.

On the Sunday talk shows this weekend, otherwise known as Obamapalooza, Barack Obama blamed blogs and cable news for driving the passions of the healthcare debate. How dare there be passion Mr President on an issue that affects all Americans and 1/6th of the US economy. Shame on you sir for wanting to be able to pass terrible healthcare legislation while you hoped “We the People” were sleeping.

The blogs represent the voice of “We the People” and will not be silenced. Obviously the cable news Obama was referring to was Fox. Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday was correct, this is the most complaining and whiniest White House ever.

Does President Obama remember how money spent, deaths and mistakes in Iraq and Afghanistan got a lot of coverage while the good our soldiers did rarely saw the light of day?
