More Hope and Change from the Obama Administration: Cap & Trade Will Cost American Households $1,761 a Year

More Obama Hope & Change:

Hey America, ready for this expense during a recession? I thought President Obama said that he would not pass a tax on the middle class? Obama also said that “Tax & trade” would not cost this much. The budget director and the President admit it will result in high energy costs for “We the People”.

Barack Obama, never met a tax he did not like. He just does not stop in his taxing of the people and business. How is the economy suppose to grow?

From the lips of the Obama Administration … Cap & Trade will cost American households $1761 a year.

The Obama administration has privately concluded that a cap and trade law would cost American taxpayers up to $200 billion a year, the equivalent of hiking personal income taxes by about 15 percent.

A previously unreleased analysis prepared by the U.S. Department of Treasury says the total in new taxes would be between $100 billion to $200 billion a year. At the upper end of the administration’s estimate, the cost per American household would be an extra $1,761 a year.

The documents (PDF) were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute.

The Gateway Pundit reminds us of the spin that Obama first came out with to sell this ridiculous piece of legislation. Once again Obama has low-balled the price of legislation. Imagine how much he is lowballing Obamacare!

Barack Obama admitted last year that cap and trade legislation would cause electricity prices to skyrocket.

Obama admitted that cap and trade will likely cost $700 to $1,400 dollars per US family per year

      HE LIES!

Where’s Joe Wilson when you need him?

When will Americans, you know those, with the moon bat shiz still in their eyes, wake up and see this man for what he is? An outright liar!

It started with his denials of listening to his mentor for 20 years rail on White America and now his health care reform and taxes on the middle class….I really don’t feel sorry for those with buyers remorse. It was all out there for everyone to see.

      Scott,

Be prepared to be branded a “racist”.

Not that your points aren’t valid, but ANY and ALL dissent from this wickedness will be viewed as “racism”.

The new board game “Cap’nTax” is played by two people:
Player 1 gets to be the Tax Payer in a declining economy.
Player 2 gets to be the Fascist Style Government causing
      the decline.

Once the game starts, the rules are very convoluted and
conflicted with all kinds of favoritism, bias, force, corruption,
and favoritism built in. All the rules are subject to changes
by Player 2 at any time. The game is won when the Economy
is reduced to rubble. Most all of the cards (including the
coveted Race Card) are held by Player 2, so it’s important
      to get that position.

OK, here’s how the game is played: The dice are thrown
and the highest number gets the choice of player number.
Whoever selects Player 2 wins-Game Over!

My husband is currently layed off, so we have lost half of his income. He will not be hired back in his position. My taxes were higher than usual. My utility bills are going to go up. My job is unstable, but if I have no income I will get free healthcare. I wonder if this healthcare will treat starvation?

    7. super dave on September 17th, 2009 3:41 pm

i don’t think you will get free healthcare. the average cost for a family of four at one time was around $5000 on the gov. plan. but, you may get fined $3800 for not having it. enough of a reason to vote it down in itself.
this nothing more than a power grab for the democrats. they will make billions off this and live high on the hog and to top it off, politicians won’t have to buy this plan because it’s not good enough for them.

If you think Congress gives a rip about your health care costs, the jobs your family has lost, the total state of the economy or anything else except your pocketbook: Do a Google search on Congressional travel expenses. These bums have managed to spend over $9 million of your money in traveling over just 3 quarters! They’ll be at $15 million for the year.

Imagine what it would have been like if the economy had been good!

this is a house party for obama.he’s pocketed possibly billions from this rape of America. wait until 2012 and see how many millions he has to waste on this campaign.
all contributions he received through acorn should be paid back to the taxpayers with interest and this criminal ring should be shut down. Fort Worth Texas acorn office closed down yesterday possibly for good. all states should follow lead.
