Daily Commentary - Monday, August 31st, 2009 - The Bizaree Case of Jaycee Lee Duggard

  • When we ask what went wrong here, there’s a lot more to the question than just the sheriff’s office. Where ere the police, the social workers and the neighbors? Why was a sex offender not monitored more closely?

Bus Stop at Nadowa and Washoan Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Just 5.2 miles away from original rape victim Katherine Callaway’s abduction:

      http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=Wa…5,0.09922&z=13

Was Garrido a regular in the South Lake Tahoe area before and after his sentence? What was his connection to that area?

If he was wearing a GPS shouldn’t the original victim have been notified of him being in her (the victim’s) safe zone? Wouldn’t that have been a violation of his parole?

Wasn’t Jaycee Duggard originally kidnapped from the South Lake Tahoe area? Why wouldn’t they search all GPS data on all sex offenders in that area during the time of her abduction?
