Separation of Church and State? The LEFT Uses Kennedy Grandson to Shill for Obamacare at Ted’s Funeral Service

I thought the LEFT was adamantly against the separation of Church and State?

Not when it comes to shilling for Obamacare.

Oh Lord, help them for they do not know what they do … UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The LEFT could not help them self at the Wellstone Memorial and they could not help them self today at the funeral for Ted Kennedy. Not even a funeral is off limits to try and push down the throats of the American people a socialist agenda of government control health care.

That every American will have decent quality health care as a fundamental right and not a privilege, we pray to the Lord.
Eesh. Other than the obvious, inappropriateness of the comment, let’s dissect this prayer for a second. A Kennedy speaking of “not a privilege” from the family of privilege, that’s comical. Second, “every American will have decent quality health care,” I guess that leaves out providing Illegal Aliens with health care as the Democrats are pushing.

There comes a time and place to put down the politics. One might think that a church and funeral might just be that place. NOPE. However, as Flopping Aces aptly states, far be it from the Democrats to never let a funeral service go to waste. I wanted to believe that they would not do this at a funeral. Once again I am proved wrong by the shameless LEFT.

Let’s understand the stupidity and desparateness of attaching Ted Kennedy’s death to Obamacare that is already dead. If the LEFT changes the name of a government run health care plan that no one wants to Teddy Care, that is supposed to suddenly make people want to vote for it? Are these people insane?

The Gateway Pundit brings us a recent Rasmussen poll, that most Americans want to get rid of the entire US Congress. Amen, brother.

An appropriate exit question from Allah Pundit:

Exit question: Anyone have any young’uns at home they’d be willing to volunteer to lead prayers at the next big GOP funeral? We might as well make use of the camera time while we have it. “Dear god, please grant us the strength to privatize social security and construct a robust missile defense shield. We pray to the Lord.”

Seeing that the LEFT has found religion, here are some more prayers from some bloggers:

  • Stop the ACLU: Please throw all the Democrat bums out of office in the mid-terms. Lord hear our prayer!
  • Hot Air: “Dear god, please grant us the strength to privatize social security and construct a robust missile defense shield. We pray to the Lord.
  • duchess_rebecca: I pray that Nationalized Healthcare does not get passed. Lord hear my prayer

UPDATE I: The LEFT could not even learn from the Portsmouth, NH Town Hall where they used a they “randomly” picked an 11 year old girl to ask Barack Obama a question who just happened to be the daughter of an Obama organizer.

“How do kids know what is true and why do people want a new system that can, that help more of us?” she asked Obama.

Kathleen Manning Hall, Julia Hall’s mother and a coordinator of Massachusetts Women for Obama during the campaign, was seated next to the girl as she asked the question — prompting some to question whether Obama recognized the girl or her mother.

Could these people have some respect for the dead.

Give it a rest, no one wants Onamacare and naming it Teddycare ain’t going to help.

Worst pandering at a funeral service evah! Of course what better funeral to do it at than a Kennedy funeral.

    3. rightknight on August 30th, 2009 12:10 am

To his last day, Teddy did not want to accept
the Obamacare experiment for himself. Ted is
telling us from the grave that Government run
medical is not the desirable option. On this issue
most of us agree with him. If it ain’t good enough
for a Kennedy, it ain’t good enough for us. Whatever
medical plan choices We the People subsidize for the
Ruling Class, We the People must have for ourselves.

R.I.P. Ted, we got the message!

I don’t for one minute buy into the royalistic fervour surrounding this man. Or his “accomplishments”. “fa fa mo” could have been done, the little bit he did was outmatched in impact by well, Michel Jackson for one.

But the real issue is this: I have always had a problem with this man’s past regarding his drinking.womanizing.and the entire Chappaquicick incident. Then we know his father was a tyrant, who’s political aspirations and connections were matched only by those in the underworlds of major cities like Chicago. But it doesn’t end there: the daughter of an S&L criminal, a shady character, judge or not, convicted felon, connected with the rottens on both sides of the aisle… marries him and straightens him out: shut up and fly right or else…

See, whenever it comes to human trafficking, the mob is always everpresent, and THAT’S why I post my concerns about how BLIND, DUMB AND DEAF (scared monkeys?) people are to what is really going on.

    5. Sweetie_pi on August 30th, 2009 5:07 am

… and never ever forget that in the sordid global field of human trafficking CHILDREN are the speciaty items, the prizes, that fetch the most. And THAT’S WHY this never ends…

And that’s why any politico marrying into the mob should not be hero-fied for political gain. It just perpetuates the centuries old mess.

It’s a SHAME….GIVE IT A BREAK. I hope we are done now by having normal airtime again. I am tired of hearing that Mr Ted Kennedy changed the world. What about the poor woman that never had a chance in life. Her family must be at peace right now. I do not want to be told by the Kennedy’s that this Health Reform Program is good for me.

    7. Scared Monkeys on August 30th, 2009 8:41 am

The only thing that I give credit to Ted Kennedy is his passion, as misguided as his liberal views were.

Make no mistake about it and the truth hurts. Ted Kennedy was elected and given a free pass by the voters of Massachusetts because of the murders of his two brothers. PERIOD!

I don’t wish the man ill, who would ever want some one to die of brain cancer? I have seen too many die of the dreaded disease.

However, I would ask the one simple question … what did this man really ever do?

That being said, the Democrats and LEFT are now pushing … pass health care for TEDDY.

Here is a news flash to liberals and high brow Dems from New England … there are people in this country who are saying Kennedy-who? They don’t like the Kennedy’s and do not like the “privilege” that they represent.

How many brain cells does it take that if Ted Kennedy was trying to pass universal health care for 40 years and it did not pass that maybe no one liked the idea on its face value, DUH!

Now we are supposed to pass it for TEDDY because he is dead and over look the fact that its government control of 1/6th of the US economy. Are these people on crack?

Let’s pass a health care bill and name it TEDDY CARE of a man of privilege who would never have used such restrictive health care because it was meant for the little people, not a Kennedy.

    8. tuyvnsurvivor on August 30th, 2009 10:35 am

With all the Kennedy’s have failed, child explotation has been commonly present.

No one who revere’s such people or nature can enjoy my things, me, or what I leave behind. It is not much, that which I can deny them, though it is only what I can control.

    9. A Texas Grandfather on August 30th, 2009 7:49 pm

I am glad the news frenzy is over regarding Ted Kennedy. Why should anyone care about what a bunch of Mafia crooks operating in the federal government try to do. Ted Kennedy an alcoholic, womanizer, murderer and general piece of crap did not do anything to deserve the burial in Arlington National Cemetary. I Thought that honor was reserved for the military heros and those that performed heroic service for our country.

    10. nonesuche on August 30th, 2009 10:57 pm

I found the use of the grandchildren to hawk for Obamacare beyond the pale. It wasn’t a funeral but a spectacle. To see the catholic church allow this knowing Kennedy had violated nearly all of the church edicts gives us a birds eye view into the politics that are alive and well in the catholic church – the same which protected the priests who molested generations of children without criminal punishment for it.

    11. Waterboy on August 30th, 2009 11:55 pm

      To All,

Has anyone given any thought as to where this Obamacare came from?

Did Obama dream up a thousand pages (there about) in the short few months (seems like eternity) he has been in office? Of course not, he hasn’t even read the stupid thing, and it’s way beyond his imagination.

The Teds and Hillarys and their clones have been working on it for years, profecting it, grooming it—for the perfect strorm, to wash this country and it’s healthcare system right off the map; and with it, a few million citizens, who don’t vote correctly. (That is the rest of us—who don’t get the BIG PICTURE)

    12. Waterboy on August 31st, 2009 12:12 am

Who would stoop so low as to use a foolish child to do their bidding? I guess he voted in the last election too, along with the illegals, and the felons. Maybe he voted 3 or 4 times like some have confessed to doing. Is there no decency left among the democrats?

Give that shaggy headed kid a haircut. He looks like a blond-headed monkey.

    13. Waterboy on August 31st, 2009 12:34 am

The way I look at it, the Obama plan is no different than the Ted Kennedy plan was for Mary Jo Kopechne. They want to get us intoxicated with their lies and promises, screw (it to) us when we are unable to resist; and then drive us off into a tidal pool at high tide for their demented pleasure. And all the while, they will be sleeping it off, padding up with lawyers, and blaming President Bush for the whole thing.

    14. SUPER DAVE on August 31st, 2009 10:39 am

all the terrorists better hurry up if they want to destroy America.Obama is going to beat them to it.

      i call fake outrage

“every American will have decent quality health care”

      how can anyone oppose that?

only some out of touch wingnut blogs who call themselves pro-life, but are not.

    16. SUPER DAVE on August 31st, 2009 1:15 pm

read the healthcare bill. it has little to do with healthcare and a lot to do with government has never been about the citizens. i’m not willing to pay for healthcare that allows illegals and non working, non taxpaying citizens to benefit or to be subsidized or the government to have any type of control. sorry !

    17. nonesuche on August 31st, 2009 1:16 pm

it’s in the details caesu, this healthcare plan has Obama advisors such as Emanuel’s brother who plan to create a qualification for care process that would clearly deny care to a certain percentage of the elderly and also children with birth defects. SO in essence Obama wants a certain ROI from ‘his’ healthcare services. That isn’t compassion for all as you are attempting to say by calling opposers “out of touch wingnuts”

Read the fine print, then comment please

    18. caesu on August 31st, 2009 3:57 pm

nonesuche, point to the fine print where it says that.

i know you are very gullible (for example the birth certificate made up stories) and get your information from copy-paste blogs and talk radio / Fox News.
they are always wrong and just trying to scare people for the ratings/website hits.

    19. SUPER DAVE on August 31st, 2009 4:08 pm

caesu: i find it hard to believe that you people would die for obama, or deny your family the best care they could get for their money.
go ahead and lie down for obama to put his foot on your kid’s necks and start grinding. your kids will suffer along with mothers, fathers, and grandparents.
go ahead and pay the ultimate price, the well being of your family. i feel sorry for them.

I can’t believe how u insult people who disagree with you.. Everyone who don’t agree with Obama isn’t some wingnut. If I wanted to live like other countries do, I would move there.

People immigrated here because of the freedom and slowly everyday they are being taken away. Who is gonna pay for that big program? We have no money. You must get your news from the left wingnut stations like Msnwannabe ..See same difference. Where do you get your information from? I am quite tired of the stupid insults labeling people nuts and hitler. The same people who preach compassion, calling people nuts.

I watched the entire Kennedy funeral. I thought it was appalling to have people getting up over and over pushing healthcare during a funeral. Pope was sure silent this past week. Who ever heard of a priest during a funeral talking politics?

Fix our healthcare system we have, lower medicines, lower charge for drs. lower insurance for those who can’t afford it, Why spend trillions we don’t have to put it in the govts. hands, 20,000 new govt employees needing paid by tax payer dollars and more red tape. The reason social security is going broke is because the money was left in the hands of the govt. No new jobs for anyone except govt. people.

    21. Tanya on August 31st, 2009 5:20 pm

What?? A child wished and prayed for healthcare for all Americans?? *gasp* in a church of all places? *gasp* did he not receive Gods memo? “I no longer care for poor people or their problems, so please withhold your prayers for such people. Thank you!”

did anyone else notice when the Grandchildren said the prayers, and the response is to be: “Lord hear our prayer” and the television camera showed President Obama during the response…of one of his Grandsons giving the prayer… the camera fanned on the President and his lips were NOT moving… he did NOT pray “Lord hear our prayer”… he just stood there?

Was it just me, or did anyone else see this?

    25. Dolf on September 3rd, 2009 5:26 am

      jezus freaking christ Kitty

    26. Cathy on September 6th, 2009 7:57 pm

Kitty, you’re showing your ignorance. President Obama is NOT Catholic. Senator Kennedy was and he had a CATHOLIC funeral. Apparently you don’t realize most of the Protestant churches do not echo back to the Minister, “Lord, hear our prayer”

So naturally, President Obama would NOT know this. This isn’t a slam on him, for he was not raised Catholic. Capiche?

All you others screaming about how the libs are violating their own precedent of separation of church and state, tell me, when did a funeral become a state event? Sure he was buried publically, sure he was a Senator, but the funeral was a CATHOLIC FUNERAL, is there some part of this you just can’t understand?

AND, a child praying is now up for grabs to the ‘christ lovers’? You stink to high heaven. You and your artificial holiness. Oh dear, move over, bow down, make room oh please make room; it’s a ‘christian’…
