Barack Obama Health Care Lies … What Happened to Obama Promise to Negotiate Health Care Reform on C-SPAN?

What’s more un-American? People voicing their God given Constitutional Rights of Free Speech in opposition to the government take over of health care? Or Barack Obama lying to the American people during the election to get elected.

Remember what candidate Barack Obama said on health care reform as a candidate when he conned you voters into actually believing him? What every happened to that transparency and negotiations on C-SPAN? Folks, you really need to watch this VIDEO from Breitbart TV and realize just how many lies Obama has made to the American people in order to get elected.

Obama said you could shame Congress into doing the right thing; however, it appears that Barack Obama has no shame himself.

Obama made the following promises and comments during and after the election. Maybe he should have to turn him self in to his own snitch squad for misrepresenting the truth when it comes to health care reform?

  • I will not negotiate behind close doors, but bring all parties together and broadcast those negotiations on C-SPAN …
  • We have to enlist the American people in this process …
  • I would welcome input …
  • If you have better ideas please present them …
  • The public will be part of the conversation
  • That builds accountability into the system because now that Congressman is put on the spot
  • You can shame Congress into doing the right thing
  • I respect what the Clinton’s tried to do in 1993 but they made one really big mistake … they took all their experts into one room and then they closed the door. They tried to design the plan in isolation from the American people.

“But what we will do is, we’ll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies.”

Instead, we get Nancy Pelosi back room deals.

This broken Obama promise brought to you by Polifact.

      Yep…backroom deals with healthcare lobbyists…

He’s a pure bullshit artist plain and simple and the simpletons that voted for him are having buyers remorse….

I will not negotiate behind close doors,

well, unless its with the Drug companies and they offer me $150 million in free one-sided advertising for the health control I’m trying to push.

this a-hole needs to be impeached – charged with the crimes he’s committing against the American people and thrown in prison.

Stop Crying!! He nor any leader for that fact can not open the doors to every conversation and take in everyone’s ideals.. otherwise we’d have utter chaos at the very least! Let the man do his job for peetsake! We don’t want people to dictate to us but we sure like to dictate to others and point the finger here in the good ole’ USA. SHAME ON US! BTW, there is no buyers remorse, just keep it simple and speak for yourself! Merci beau coup!

This guy is a professional liar without a doubt. His phony
claim that ‘you can keep your private plan if you want
to’ is 100% contrary to his Government sponsored control.
The reason he is lying (boldface lying) is because he is
not stupid/ignorant. He says doing the Government takeover
of our lives due to failure of private plans, period. Only
the Illustrious Government Elite will have the Private Plans
      for their families. Why!

Listen…Obama is saying “we won’t wait in any lines.” Who believes anything he says? He’s a liar. I know the doctor that used to fly with the Pres and VP for both Bush and Obama and he’s told me there are not enough RESOURCES for everybody to be covered; so YES, there will be long waiting lines. Sh*t, I have a decent waiting time now; could only imagine when there are 50 homeless people getting free treatment?

      He’s a damn liar.

There just are not enough doctors to treat everybody.

What did people expect him to come out and say? LOL!

He will not gain any momentum from this, people KNOW he’s a lying POS!

liberal – the sight of your moniker makes me want to spit blood on your shoes…

BTW, I think I speak for 99% of the normal people on here.

We’ve been letting him do his job, quadrupling the deficit, lowering our national security, apologized to every nation out there, etc etc etc….

The part of a democracy is to listen to the PEOPLE’s ideas not just his own which he is doing. The American people as a majority do not want this health care reform in fact over 80% are happy with their health care coverage they have now. Why doesn’t he listen to the people that elected him?

WTF do you think he is doing? He’s dictating to us Americans what kind of health care we are going to have to have, keep or get?

I can tell you are barely old enough to understand what actually is going on here, so I’ll give you a pass this time, but grow up first, do some research on the issues and come back in a few more years when you’ve reached the legal age to drink.

      liberal:

Perhaps you were busy studying French when constitution, civics and history lessons were held; but the President of the United States of America was elected to hear all points of view and represent all Americans.

He was not elected or paid big bucks to accept $150 million in free ads from the drug lobbyists. Their paid ads will represent only one side of the issue (and btw, it’s not even the majority’s point of view). So The Won gets $150 million in advertisements while selling out the American people.

the political paraphernalia department, “Yes, we can” is becoming “No, he can’t.”

Anti-Obama memorabilia — from T-shirts to bumper stickers to buttons — is increasingly emerging in the marketplace as the president’s economic and health care policies polarize supporters and detractors.

While “Mama for Obama” was a popular slogan during the 2008 election cycle, that design has been retooled with angry and fickle disenchantment: “To the Mama for Obama — thanks for the tax hike.” The “Audacity of Hope,” the title of Mr. Obama’s popular book, has been replaced by the “Audacity of Hype.”

“It really started peaking about a month ago,” said Amy Maniatis, vice president of marketing at the online seller Cafepress.com.

    20. Maggie on August 11th, 2009 4:53 pm

      By Richard Wolf, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — Stagnant unemployment, shrinking tax revenue and a struggling economy threaten to quadruple the size of last year’s federal budget deficit, raising more questions about the timing of costly proposals to overhaul health care.
As the White House and Congressional Budget Office (CBO) prepare to release new deficit estimates this month, several economists say the news is likely to be as bad as or worse than forecasts.

“This is going to be a very depressing outlook,” predicts former CBO director Douglas Holtz-Eakin, top adviser to Republican John McCain in last year’s presidential election. “They have just a nightmare in terms of these health care bills, which do nothing but make things worse.”

A fiscal year 2009 deficit of $1.8 trillion was anticipated by the White House, $1.7 trillion by Congress. Reaching that level would produce a deficit four times last year’s $459 billion deficit, just as Congress is considering health care overhaul plans that could cost $1 trillion over 10 years.

Lawmakers are struggling to pay for a plan with a mix of tax increases on upper-income people and Medicare spending reductions aimed at doctors, hospitals, drugmakers and insurers. Some town-hall forums across the U.S. this month have been disrupted by protests for and against proposals.

    21. Maggie on August 11th, 2009 5:32 pm

figure the govt. is mad because the doctors and insurance companies are making a fortune off of people right now and they want the money instead of those 2 groups.. Our health care does need reformed.. but why not spend much less and fix what is wrong with what we have? The cost of medicine is crazy! Especially when it only costs pennies to make.. It sure don’t need run by the govt. We have seen enough of what happens when they get their hands on things. Greed, Greed, Greed, seems that is what govt is all about anymore. It’s apalling to watch all these multi million dollar trips, clothing, homes, health care, at tax payers expense and then tell us how to conserve and save. I am just so digusted with all of it right now.and it seems like we are on the Bridge to nowhere.. to use a familiar phrase.

“He nor any leader for that fact can open the doors to every conversation and take in everyone’s ideals.. otherwise we’d have utter chaos at the very least! Let the man do his job for peetsake!”

We’re not talking every conversation nor everyone’s ideals…it’s actually the MAJORITY’S conversations and the MAJORITY’S ideals!
Yet, this President chooses to IGNORE the MAJORITY of America!!! And, btw, our country IS in utter chaos thanks to him right now…

It’s amazing disgusting liberals like the leeches of society that post here rail against birthers when in truth, the 9/11 truthers are far more out in left field; AND far more frankly WACKED OUT OF THE F’IN SKULLS! PERIOD!

A birth certificate vs moron idiot left fielders who think the US government killed 3K of their own people? Hmmmmm…. Pretty easy to see which is more wacked…..

Fact is, liberals don’t practice what they preach. They say “right winged” extremists are behind the Joker posters but the left winged vanity fair portrayed Bush like that. Nanci Pelosi says extremists are brings swastikas to town hall meetings (there are none); but for the last 8 years, left wingers were marching dressed as hitler with signs of Bush as Hitler.

The hypocrisy from the left is as evident as clear blue sky and it’s frankly laughable and makes them look like the dipsh*ts they really are…

    28. St Stephen on August 12th, 2009 6:38 am

Those who proclaim that only birthers and racists are concerned about this shift in government are truly suffering from tunnelvision or have few friends.

People that I know, liberals and conservatives alike, see something very wrong in this intrusive bill.

If actually read, it does go deeper than just health care, enters the privacy of our home, interferes with the education of our children and puts in the government’s hand all knowledge of of life and lifestyles. Read carefully, it does open the door toward a totalitarian form of governance.

The issue of healthcare reform is needed to be addressed and this bill needs major modifications
and all soviet-style government intrusions must be extracted from it and the new bill RE-READ to assure that it addresses healthcare reform ONLY!

The 1300+ pages of this reads like a book Orwell may have written. Pretty scary stuff in some of the articles they snuck in. Small wonder they do not want this read, just voted and passed(which I feel will not be passed in its present soviet form, at least I hope not).

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I just pulled my head out of my butt long enough for that. And imagine what I see when I pull it out, the same b.s. that I have seen on here since Obama became president. Scott and SUPER DAVE calling names and making fun because they obviously don’t have anything worth a crap to say. All they know is that the president is black and that is enough for them to hate. And it is sad to see that others are just like them. Michelle Smith is obviously going down that path as well. Hey guys, instead of hating and typing incoherent rants on here, how about getting out there and doing something about it. That is the American way. But wait, you people are un-American and racist. Goodbye, I must go stick my head up my butt again.

Let’s see – if you disagree with any Obama Policy your are a racist, if you opposes abortion you are a birther ( as opposed to being a baby murders?), if you do not support health care you are now a racist, if you think with a free mind you are a threat to your country. If you are a veteran you could be considered a potential radicalized rightwing terrorist (according to an Obama security adviser).
So – I am a veteran, and I disagree with the rapid destruction of my country and I believe in the right to life – so where does that leave me in Obama’s Liberal Utopia. Up Acorn Creek without a paddle?

I think all the stupid people who voted him in should take his health care and his spreading the wealth among themselves and let the us have our private insurance and keep all the money we were work our finger to the bone for instead of giving it to the lazy and the poor. I didn’t come from a wealthy family and I work to hard to afford to give what I worked for to people who just don’t want to.If it take 3 jobs to make a living 3 jobs it is. I work 7 days a week full time why should I pay for their mistakes.

      Kill the Healthcare Bill

The bills that are being voted on should be thrown in the garbage, they were developed by idiots and won’t help the problem.

People will still be uninsured and continue to go to emergency rooms and stick everyone for the costs. The program won’t start for years, but we will be taxed from the start, and you can be sure they will piss that money away.

If there is NO tort reform, then there is no reform.

You can’t have a program with NO co-pays, there are too many people out there that will just clog up the system that don’t need healthcare.

Some people should just die, they don’t contribute anything to society anyway, they are just mooches and suckup freebe’s. We are over taxed as it is and all they do is waste the money.

I’m also so sick of hearing how the insurance companies are spending lobby money to kill the bill…What about the million’s spend by the trial attorney’s to stop tort reform?
